Hi there, we are looking for a lovely new housemate to rent the third bedroom in our Fletcher Street townhouse. We are located seconds from the 59 tram, and a 10 minute walk from Essendon train station, both giving easy access to the city, Moonee Ponds, Queens Park, and Essendon North. Our house is two story, with an open plan living area / kitchen, and small backyard ideal for a summer BBQ downstairs, and all bedrooms upstairs. Noise from the living area hardly carries upstairs, ensuring you need not worry about noise level whilst others are asleep (just don't throw rave parties!). Our available bedroom has sizeable build in robes and is of a medium size, spacious enough to cater for a double/queen bed, a desk, and a book shelf. Gas heating runs throughout the whole house, and air conditioning downstairs to take the edge off on those 35+ summer days. This house currently employs a cleaning schedule to ensure all shared spaces stay clean and tidy. It is expected that our incoming housemate will comply with this and stay accountable to the schedule. Smokers are welcome to apply, but absolutely no smoking inside the house or the garage. Unfortunately our land lord has continually maintained a strict no pets policy, and as such we cannot accept roommates with pets :( Utilities, internet, and rent Everything is split evenly between all housemates. Hello there! We have a room available to rent in our lovely big house right on the cusp of Essendon & Brunswick West. The room that we have available has two seperate sections, a bedroom area and a lounge/study section separated by a door, as well as a big double wardrobe. This room is $220 per week plus bills. I have included as many photos as I could but some are from previous tenants and we have different furniture now. Bills... we pay $5 a week on top of our rent to cover internet and Foxtel. Electricity, Gas and Water we split quarterly and is about $150 every 3 months. This room shares the main bathroom (with spa bath) with only one other person. There are 5 bedrooms in total, 3 of them have ensuites and the other 2 do not. We're all very busy professional people and it's a rare (and exciting) event for us all to be home at the same time. The ideal housemate will be a happy and friendly busy bee like us, someone that is up for a chit chat and a wine here and there but has a life of their own. At the moment we are 2 girls and 3 guys aged 24 to 27. We are not fussed if you are a girl or a guy - as long as you are a generally clean and tidy nice person. The shared spaces include the kitchen (with walk-in pantry),one big main lounge room with foxtel, a separate dining room, and a 2nd lounge room/guest bedroom, the laundry which has a washing machine and dryer. The available room is in a large house in Strathmore, the room is $140 a week excluding bills (rent is paid every 4 weeks rather than calendar month) Currently the house is occupied by 4 full time working professionals, 3 guys and 1 girls. We are all pretty laid back, enjoy the footy most weekends. Ideally the person who moves in would also be working full time, laid back and enjoy sharing a drink and laugh with their house mates from time to time.
