Hi Future flatmate! My lovely flatmate has to leave for some new adventures so I'm now looking for a new person for our unfurnished room in Essendon. The modern high standing building is very well situated, 5 mn walk from the Essendon train Station, close to the river and plenty of cafes around (one is actually just in front of the building) and a very useful convenient store across the road. What's good about the flat is that it's sort of a rooftop flat on the 5th floor with a massive terrace that offer a 360 degrees view. From there you can see the CBD, Port Melbourne and beautiful night skies or sunset...It'll be the place to be when summer will show up! The flat is filled with light and high standard materials. I furnished it myself so you basically just need your bag and a bed with mattress as the room comes unfurnished. It has a wardrobe with two sliding doors and mirrors. Bathroom is shared with me. There is no car space which is not an issue as you can park your car in the streets around for free. If you have a bike, you can store it in the secured basement. Rent is $270/week ($1,173/month), bills are additionals (water/electricity/internet/gas). As we're both on the lease, you'll have to go through the lease transfer (which cost $110) if the agency approved your application (sorry we can't avoid that unfortunately). I'll require a minimum stay of 6 months. Bills are on top of the rent. Unlimited internet available not included in the rent. I'm looking for a full time worker that plan to stay for a bit. If you love outdoors, camping, surfing, you're riding a motorbike or play music it's a bonus :D This is not a party house as I’m working weekdays, office hours. This being said, I'm very happy to have some friends around and you’re more than welcome to do the same! And as explained, the terrace will be for sure the best for summer for that ;) I also really insist on the basics as I already had some bad experiences with some previous housemates. What I mean by the basics is just the respect and the cleanliness you can expect from a flatmate. I’m not a clean freak but this is something really important for me. I’m one of those who think that cleaning after yourself and participate to the overall maintenance of the flat shouldn’t even be discussed. Also, I want someone that loves to have a chat, share a meal, movie or a beer and is not planning to spend the entire time looked in the room. The property is set in a great location and is very accessible to everything. There is a cafe and convenience store 50 meters away from the property, a large park and bus stop directly across the street and a tram stop less than 600 meters away that goes directly to the city. It also stops at a large shopping complex no less than 10 minutes away. Hi! I'm looking for a housemate to share my compact two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in Essendon North. The available room is decently sized (a king bed doesn't fit too well though... I tried) with a built-in robe and its own ensuite. The building is ideally situated directly across from a number of chic eateries, like Macca's and KFC. There's also a tram stop almost right out the front with services every 10 minutes which take about 30 minutes to the CBD. The apartment is furnished apart from the empty bedroom, but we could probably fit some more furniture if you have any of your own (those with a sizeable pot plant collection are particularly encouraged to get in contact). We also have a storage cage in the basement if needed. The lease length is flexible and the room will likely be available for a few years for the right person, although I'd prefer a 3-6 month lease to begin with and see how things go. (ooooh so light filled), delicious wooden floor boards and your own personal heating device. There are no built-ins but definitely room for a wardrobe. Your new abode: The house is double brick, light and bright and showcases wood floors throughout, high ceilings, a kitchen with giant, modern appliances and a couple of extra shared spaces for extra living, creativity or storage. There is also space for two cars in the driveway. It is close to the train, bus stops; and #59 tram; close to shops and cafes too (I highly recommend the coffee at Coffee in Common). The Backyard is amazingly large with fruit trees and a hills hoist (almost too good to be true!)
