Our house is located in the suburb of Saint Peters at 83 Seventh Avenue. In addition to being within a 15min bus/bicycle ride to the CBD centre, there are a number of parks nearby (Including a dog park opposite ours) as well as a shopping centre which is within a 10min walk. There is a rose garden in the front yard and a reasonably sized lawn at the back. We currently have a spare room for rent at 80$, not including amenities. Whilst the room unfortunately does not have a window, it has a wardrobe and is very spacious. The room is not fully furnished but house is! If you enjoy a good laugh, appreciate documentaries by Louis Theroux and/or David Attenborough or are predisposed to the melodic voice of Neil Young on vinyl then you would fit in well.

The pictures of the house show it in a just moved in kinda state. This share house will suite the discerning and considerate yet social and interesting housemates who want to contribute to a functional and friendly share house. Basically the second room is a big room that might suit someone wanting more privacy. It has its own A/C , sink and even a wood heater (BYO wood). There's no dedicated bathroom for that space so you still have to come inside BUT there is a second toilet next to the laundry. The house is very large with different spaces which can accommodate social activities as well as quiet times. There are outdoor spaces, fruit trees and even a chicken run. I'm hoping to negotiate with the landlord to get 1 or 2 chickens so that we can have fresh eggs. The plan that I've uploaded should give an idea of the layout of the house. The kitchen is substantial in size with reasonably modern appliances and will have a large table and chairs for dining. The lounge will have comfortable furnishings and be a good space to retreat. The bathroom is large and functional and freshly painted throughout.
The house is spacious, light filled, single fronted terrace in a quiet street in Norwood. The available bedroom fits a queen size bed with room to move and has a double built in wardrobe with tonnes of space & floor boards for easy maintenance. The room currently has a (soft/comfy) queen size mattress and two bedside tables that have storage in them. If the new flatmate wants these items I will invest in getting the bed professionally cleaned & a base for the bed. Otherwise I can move these out of the room (rent will remain the same). There is a decent size basement for storage if you need it too. And there is also always parking on the street right outside the house. All the bills will be split equal between 2 when they arrive. The Parade and local shops, post office etc (Foodland Norwood is the best!) are only a 10min walk away, with the popular breakfast/lunch spot Argo's there also. The rest of the house is a light filled space with floorboards/tiles throughout, a spacious kitchen and dining area and a sunroom for a lounge area filled with indoor plants overlooking a private courtyard that has a day bed to chill out in the sun. The high ceilings keeps the place cool in summer, the house also features ducted air conditioning and heating. The bathroom is light filled and spacious with two sinks, so you will have your own sink and 3 drawers to yourself. The shower has good pressure & there is a separate bath. I have two lovely adult persian cats who are sweet and affectionate, they sleep most of the day or chill out outside.

Our place is conveniently located and only a 10 minute bus ride to the CBD. We live in a little housing community and is nice and quiet. You will have you own private room, fully furnished along with your own private bath, shower and toilet. You will have access to a common kitchen and living area (with Foxtel). Please note we have a small 5 month old puppy too. His name is Kosmo and he is the most friendly puppy going around. Upstairs is where you will have your bedroom. Our bedroom is at the front of the upstairs part of our house and you'll have most of the back part of the house to yourself. Your own bathroom and toilet is right next to your bedroom. You'll also have easy parking at the front of the house too. We are happy to negotiate on the rent too.

Amazing location, adjacent to the parade. There's aircon, internet and a bowl of fruit. 10 minutes from the city, great public transport. The Parade usually has everything you'll need within a two minute walk. Unfortunately the real estate doesn't allow pets but if you have a turtle or something that could be cool. Smoking/non smoking I don't mind, (I don't smoke), we're on the second floor with access to two balconies. The room is furnished with a bed, side tables, a few lamps and storage rack for clothes personal belongings.
