The room is available now and you will need to complete a rental application form for the agent and be willing to go on the lease. The ground floor apartment with direct street access is located on Printers Way (directly across from Norgrove Park), a two minute walk from Kingston Foreshore. Superbarn and the Kingston shops are 5 minutes away. The room is sizeable (by Canberra standards) and measures 310x310 with a double mirrored built in robe and plenty of hanging/shelf space. It easily fits a queen sized bed, two side tables and a free-standing chest of drawers. It gets plenty of natural sunlight and is offset from the street so there is no traffic noise. The living area is huge with a large, fully equipped kitchen, big bathroom with washer/dryer and a sunny courtyard perfect for gardening and entertaining. The house is well insulated, warm in winter and cool in summer, with ducted heating/cooling in every room. The Internet is super fast (way better than NBN) as its on the VDSL network. There is plenty of street parking for cars and an undercover car park may be available (but will cost extra). The apartment is fully furnished, and we have plenty of storage space. Sorry, no couples. The room is currently $250 per week ($1087.5 paid per calendar month) plus utilities. Rental bond will be 4 weeks rent. Hope to hear from you, Ethan and Pete.

This is a unique property, spacious yet homely. Modernised for comfortable living, yet retains the luxury of its past life as an Embassy, with crystal chandeliers and marble staircase. All bedrooms are lockable for privacy and safety and have been furnished with beds, tables and reading lamps. Some have their own televisions, though there is an upstairs communal entertainment room where guests can watch television or one of the many DVD movies or tv series in our library. The kitchen and other common areas provide all facilities for a home away from home experience for people coming to Canberra to work. Everything is provided - you only pay one weekly fee which covers all bills, wifi, use of linen and home cooked evening meals. If you enjoy nature there are walking trails close by or you can check out the kangaroos at close range when they visit the property of an evening. A unique and special place to call home while you become established in Canberra.
