Walk to St. George’s St for your morning coffee at Tin Pot or ride the tram for 5 and get amungst the hustle bustle of Brunswick St. There’s running and biking trails across the street that run along the Merri Creek and Ed Gardens is also a 5 min walk. The house itself is old but has a lot of heart. It, and the guys, are very down to earth and the spaces are sunlight and warm. There is a working and powerful heater/ac unit in every room that’s sure to warm you up over the blustery winter. There’s also a bathtub if you like a bubble bath at the end of a long day. It is in Fitzroy North - which already tells it all - beautiful location, so many cafes, galleries and music venues around. 15min tram ride to the City if needed and just around the corner from Edinburgh Gardens. The house is a refurbished Victorian house with a nice backyard and a firepit - so we do evening by the fire sometimes, which are amazing. I would say this house has a soul and welcoming energy about it - it feels like home.
Our home is a spacious 4 bedroom townhouse located on the border of Fitzroy and Fitzroy North. With a big kitchen, living area and 4 bedrooms split across three levels, there’s heaps of space. The ground floor has 1 bedroom, a laundry and a garage. We use the garage for storage and clothes drying. On the first floor is the kitchen/dining area, as well as 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The kitchen is modern with wooden floors and a balcony overlooking Napier St. There's enough space for us all to cook at the same time, listen to music and drink wine. The next level is the TV/living area, which has a gas fire and a balcony. The fourth and largest room is on this level. The rooftop has a wooden deck with amazing views of the city. It's a great space for summer barbecues. In terms of location, we couldn't ask for a better address. We're located between Smith and Brunswick street, Fitzroy Pool and Edinburgh Gardens. We're also surrounded by Melbourne's best pubs. So essentially, you could get fit at the pool and park and then get drunk at the pub, without needing walk more than 300 metres from our house. There are trams, shops, cafes etc too.
