THE HOUSE The house is a single front double-storey terrace with a lot of space. There are 4 bedrooms. There is 1 bathroom and a separate toilet downstairs and 1 bathroom with a toilet upstairs. It has a shared living room, kitchen and study (all furnished but with room for extra pieces if needed), and a laundry (washer and dryer). There is a small backyard with a small flower garden, fixed clothesline and a shed for storage. The home offers some privacy between rooms as all the walls are double brick. There is on-street parking, no permit required. LOCATION We are located on Nicholson Street (near the corner of Barkly Street), on the 96 tram line. The tram stop is only 100 metres away from the house, and we are just 200 metres away from cafes/ shops etc. There is free off street parking on the side street. THE ROOM Upstairs at the rear of the house, so it is very quiet. It has a built in robe, a large window with sheer roller and block-out blinds for privacy, but great for mid afternoon sunshine! The bus stop is a minute away. Nicholson St is a few minutes away and filled with great cafes, close to Merri Creek and Capital City trail, which is great for cyclists and runners both. The apartment itself is pretty basic. It's cheap given the location and I haven't had any problems with the real estate agent. I like animals so pets are welcome but you will have to contact the real estate agent to obtain permission. Place is great if you are looking for a temporary foothold for a couple of months, it will be available from the end of November onwards (ignore the incorrect move-in date above). Huge room in an incredible location. Page street is a lovely little no-through-road in Clifton Hill. Right next to Darling Gardens, which is lovely for a run or evening stroll back from the station. Clifton Hill station is a 10 minutes walk away - very easy for the city or heading up on the South Morang or Hurtsbridge lines. Queens Parade is also at the end of the next street about a 5 minute walk away, with the 86 tram heading down Smith street towards Parliament and the city. The proximity to Smith and Brunswick streets is a massive win with all the bars, restaurants and cafes there. Common kitchen and living space and small garden/courtyard. Currently a bit overgrown but it is a holiday project :) One common bathroom but with another toilet/laundry on the ground floor. The room: Photos currently show the room being used more as a lounge due to current housemates having 2 rooms as a couple. The biggest room in the house, approx. 4x7m. Located on the first floor so close to the bathroom, and with a large window overlooking the back courtyard.
