There's no fixed monthly amount for bills as it just depends on how much we use! Please note that this room is for one person only, as there's only one bathroom in the house so sharing between 4 would be an absolute nightmare!

This could be for you :) We are a home of two clean and easy going people working in music and fashion who generally don't mind sharing tomatoes/milk etc and the odd meal on the occasion that everyone is home at once. A nice front porch, a back yard with a lovely palm tree and laneway for parking. Within 5 min tram/bike to - Princes Park, Lygon St, Sydney Rd, Rathdowne Village, Edinburgh Gardens, Melbourne Uni 10 min tram/bike to - Melb CBD, Brunswick St/Fitzroy, Ceres, RMIT 15 min bike/tram to Gertrude St, Smith St, High St, NGV Heads up, we're not really looking for couples or backpackers short term stays at this point (we love couples + have been backpackers ourselves, we're just on a different path at the moment :) ) Still interested? The house has 3 bedrooms, is pretty spacious, a terrace, central heating, dishwasher, air con, WiFi, is fully furnished and it’s super comfortable to live in. There is a great gym 50 meters down the road and you can find almost everything you need in Rathdowne Village. 2 minutes walk to Lygon tram stop and just a few minutes from Fitzroy and Fitzroy North.
Hello All!!, We have an en-suite room available in as soon as possible as one of the housemates is sadly leaving Australia. The large modern townhouse is spacious townhouse in perfect location within a 10 minute walking distance of Lygon & Brunswick Street. 20 Minute walk into the City and in very close proximity to Carlton Gardens, Melbourne University, Fitzroy & Collingwood Nightlife. Furthermore, it is 3 minutes from the 96 Tramline which is very handy for commuting in and out of the CBD for work. The house has 3 floors consisting of a garage and bedroom on the first, Kitchen, Lounge and an outdoor area on the second with two more bedrooms on the 3rd. All of the bedrooms are ensuite. The kitchen is large and spacious with all goods necessery for cooking included. The Lounge is great in size with modern furnishings and fireplace. The room available is a double room on the 3rd floor. It has lots of natural light and it's own bathroom. Bills are not included in the rent and my experience is that they come to roughly $80-100 between 3 per month. Unlimited fast Wi-fi. All white good included. Two current housemates staying are both young professionals whom both work 9-5 in the CBD. Mid twenties and are living in Melbourne long term. Both love spending time outside of work watching good films, a large variety of sports and going to gigs which is perfect having Fitzroy and Collingwood in close proximity. We are socialable and outgoing people and the house is treated like a home. Enjoy eating out as well as cooking during the week while taking advantage of the vast array of bars/pubs on our doorstep on Lygon, Brunswick and Smith St. As the house has a large spacious lounge, kitchen and outdoor area it is perfect for having friends round for drinks/dinner. We are looking for a similarly aged (23-30), sociable, outgoing and tidy housemate who is working full time looking to live in Melbourne long term. Drummond St - that is where its at - It's so beautiful in Carlton Nth! Schmick location, walking distance to everything, close enough to the craziness without being stuck in the craziness - ya know what I mean. It's a great 3rd floor, 2-bedroom apartment with polished floorboards, big kitchen, big bathroom with separate shower and toilet, and a cute little balcony that we can have our morning coffees on. It's bright and fresh, stays cool on those hot summer days and we have heating for when it gets chilly. The room itself has a big window so its bright and airy, and it also has a built-in wardrobe for all of your goodies. NBN is available so that's in the process of being set up as we speak. Bills are not included in the rent - so electricity, gas, water, internet will be additional. Im not really home that much so i really don't think that our bills will be anything too crazy. Looking for someone long-term, no travellers unfortunately. As much as i would love one, sorry no pets. There is potentially a off-street car spot available with the room, however this would affect the rent price. Photos are from the original listing. This is a really wonderful house - I've lived here for just over a year now, and am leaving only to follow work, in Sydney. It's in an excellent location, less than 5 minutes walk to lygon st and nicholson st. It's a very light and airy house, fully furnished, great lounge room and kitchen, established garden, etc. I'm very sad to let it go :(
Hello there, we are Rose and Holly and we're needing to fill a room in this renovated house in Clifton Hill. The house has been a share-house environment for the past 5 years and all in all it has run very smoothly. The owner, Matt, has decided to move on to pastures solo so we are looking for a replacement! The house is pretty large for the area and has an upstairs and downstairs living room and a rear courtyard. There is plenty of space to get away if you need a quiet moment. The kitchen is part of the open plan living room and has pretty much everything you need if you don't have much/any equipment. Important - Matt's big black cat Sigur will remain here, he is very affectionate but also keeps himself to himself. He's actually very hypo-allergenic - The both of us have allergies normally but suffer no issues with him now. The upstairs is where we have our bedrooms and the upstairs living room has served as a bit of a painting / yoga studio / office space. You can add to this arrangement if you so wish - within reason of course ;) ! Your room is downstairs at the front of the house and it's very private and self contained with it's own en-suite. The room has a built in bed (which Matt built himself and is pretty cool!) and can come with a queen size mattress if you need it. There is a cupboard for storage and a built in robe. About us - We're both from the UK, actually about 20 minutes from each other but we met here when we moved in to the house! Rose is 33, works as a medical rep and enjoys a red wine and a catch up! Holly is 28, works in Health Insurance and also enjoys a red wine! Holly spends half of her time staying over at her boyfriends so isn't always knocking about. The 2 of us have become great friends since moving in and we are sociable creatures. It's a very relaxed household and you would feel right at home. We sometimes cook for each other (Rose is great at a proper english breakfast) and are very easy going when it comes to splitting the household responsibilities! The area is really nice to live in. You will notice its near the freeway, however noise is not a factor. If you cycle or run the tracks on the river are very close. Perhaps the best feature is the cafe about 50m away which does great coffee and food. No extra pets please and not considering couples for the room. The rent includes bills (wifi included) and also includes a cleaner we have once a fortnight. That's probably enough for now - any questions sing out! Cheers

The couch in the kitchen is a much favoured chill spot. The lounge has a quiet relaxing vibe- has nice morning light. It's more of a meditation and music space with enough room for yoga and stretching and/or curling up with a book. Within walking/riding distance to EVERYTHING including a sweet farmers market across the road, this location is great for someone that loves all the inner north and CBD has to offer. It's all here on our doorstep. More about me? I'm a planet loving carnivore- and consciously consume local produce where possible, I love having a compost and if you like to garden that would be a bonus. I'm often found singing in the kitchen or reading in the lounge. Love a good conversation about most things and enjoy a mix of sharing a cuppa and doing my own things-very independent individual. Having an environmentally aware household is a priority to me, and as I'm very sensitive to artificial fragrances and harsh chemicals I appreciate home friends that choose natural based products by choice- if you can't live without your dove/Palmolive body wash this might not be for you!
