I've just moved into this unit in Ashfield and looking for a second person to take the second bedroom. It's an older block of units but it's in a U shape with a well kept garden in the middle giving it a bit of a laid back feel. Although it's older, it's fairly nice inside with new wood floors and a new kitchen. The bathroom is functional and the hot water comes on quickly with good pressure. I've just furnished the place with the basics and will probably add to it over the next year. There's no car space, though you may find street parking, but there's a bus a five minute walk away across parramatta road that takes you to the city in about half an hour. The train station is a 15 minute walk. Ashfield mall is also pretty close - about a 20 minute walk. There's unlimited wifi on a mid tier NBN plan so it's pretty quick. The stove is electric so no gas bill. I've got a nintendo switch if you're into that kind of thing. The room is an OK size and there's also the sun room/study which I'm not really using. You could use that space for whatever you'd like - office type setup, spare room with a couch or whatever.
