Hi folks, We have a room for rent in Footscray - It will be avaliable from the 24th June 2017. The room is unfurnished, however the house itself is furnished and contains all necessary appliances. The room is medium sized and has a built-in wardrobe and central heating. It can accommodate a double sized bed. The house is in a really great location - near the train station (8 min walk to Middle Footscray station, 15 to Footscray station) and close to shops, bus stops, bars, restaurants, pubs etc. You will be living with two university students, Tristan and Connor (both 22). We are friendly, self reliant and are looking forward to welcoming a third housemate who is around our age, chill and sociable, fairly tidy, and willing to contribute to household duties. We're very easygoing types - into music, films and whilst we do occasionally entertain we don't have too many people over at once, it's usually relatively quiet. Rent is $740 per calendar month (which works out to $170 a week), and is paid at the beginning of each month. This does not include bills, which we spilt between us. All star location, I didn't cook the first 2 months there because everything around me was delish and cheap. The veggies and fruit at the Market are super cheap and fresh, I struggled to spend $10 once so I could put it on my card. 5 min walk to the station, 10 min train ride into the city. You don't need a car but parking permits are available. I like sitting in the front yard because it gets just the perfect amount of sun to chill and read... or day drink. The backyard is massive and has a lil bonfire area that we sometimes use for Asados.

Vic Uni is very close, 10 min walk if you are studying!! Yum Yoga is in our street, along with White Dog Pilates. I think you'll love this townhouse, as it's very light and spacious, with a large comfortable living area, and outside has a large furnished balcony, perfect for a drink with a friend or reading.
