The furniture in the pictures belongs to my outgoing flat mate so I will be refurnishing - so any quality goods are welcome to move in too! The apartment is in an ideal location being less than 1km from the Manuka and Kingston shopping precincts, as well as the Fyshwick markets. The apartment itself is a cosy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom place with a really big balcony outside. Bedroom #2 in the photo will be the room for rent. There is visitors parking in the complex, however cannot be guaranteed. Apartment will look different as I have just bought it and the furniture pictured belongs to the previous owner. I move in next week, so will be able ot do inspections then.
House is three storey so it's great for privacy! Front and back areas for entertaining or gardening if you're into that. The location is great - one block back from the Kingston foreshore. It's a private rental so no real estate agents (A+). House has fast unlimited internet, ducted heating and cooling and a gas stove. The room is on the second floor at the front (morning sun!) and has it's own private balcony and shutters (if you're not that into the morning sun). Has a built-in wardrobe with mirrors - spacious! There isn't a parking spot in the garage, however there is on-street parking in the street next to ours (about 50m away). It's unmetered/not paid/no time limit, and it's not hard to find a spot most of the time. This is what our current and prvious housemates have used, with no issues. Sorry, no smokers, pets, full-time couples or students accepted.

The house is a cottage-style home on Novar St in Yarralumla. Right up from the shops and to the lake. Very quaint with hardwood floors throughout and carpeted in the living area with a good heater. The kitchen is pretty big and there is a dishwasher. One great thing about this property is the amount of storage space - cupboards and closets everywhere. The room that is free fits a queen size bed in it with room to spare plus two built-in storage spaces in the room. The front foyer has a little atrium where I have a number of indoor plants. There is one bathroom with a bath (with jets) and shower overhead, and there are two toilets in the house. I've got most furniture but there is space for more. The front yard is small and nicely hedged with some impressive evergreens that line the street. There is an undercover area out the back and the backyard is large-ish and easy care with an old very productive fig tree, an apricot tree, lemon/lime grafted tree and other flowering trees and bushes that a low/no maintenance. There is also a lockable garage in the back that is mostly empty.
