We live right across the road from Lake Monger which is great to go for a run, picnicking and just to relax. The house is super close to the Leederville strip, Cambridge Street and Subiaco centre (5-10 minute bike ride) which are all hotspots for a range of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. It’s also a 10 minute drive to City Beach and a 20 min bike ride to the city. The room has lakeside views to Lake Monger and is 3.3m x 2.6m. Rent is $125 per week excluding bills, which are usually about $50 per month. The lease is until mid-January when it can be renewed. We would ideally like someone who is looking to stay until that point at least. We all go in on communal food purchases to make things easier and we focus on shared meals. As much as we love animals, no pets allowed. This room is unfurnished.

Awesome unit with all amenities included. The bedroom that is for rent has wicked french doors that open up to a chill outdoor space featuring a hammock for all your down time. Spare parking to the back of the unit or alternatively there is plenty of street parking as the unit runs straight through so access from 2 streets. Close to public transport that can get you where you need to go with just one bus. (Usually) The back door area is full enclosed so if you have an indoor kitty and he or she gets along with other kitties, this could be your place. I do not have wifi. I’m Graham and I’ve got a nice room available in Wembley. It’s close to UWA, the city and the beach. There’s a 24 hour supermarket that’s a 7 minute walk away, and there’s a bus stop at the top of the street. The area is super green and relaxed. Lake monger is a short walk away and there’s plenty of parks around.

The location is perfect - close to two train stations, Leederville, Subiaco, Lake Monger, and Coles are all walking distance, and the city is a 22 minute commute door to door. The house vibe is chill, there are many plants, and we have a dog Bailey who is needy but adorable. We also have two separate living areas - the shared main kitchen/living, and a smaller study, which is really nice to work in. So you'd have extra space to keep a desk and other stuff outside of your bedroom if you wanted. The bathroom has a spa bath, which is incredibly luxurious. The porch is a really nice place to sit and read/have a beer on in the evenings, and the backyard gets nice sun in the morning.
