My current housemate is moving on (or moving back with his friend who has just bought a house) so this houseshare will become available on the long weekend in March (but the spare room can be used earlier) There are 3 bedrooms, a nice kitchen, an additional small sleepout and sunroom and Lounge of course. 1 bathroom with separate toilet. There is an undercover courtyard area and small yard. Apart from the sleepout, there are floorboards throughout. It's in a great location only 2.5km from the Beach, equally about 2.5km from No 12 tram stop. Easy access to the city. Parking is available off-street. Neighbours are quiet and friendly. I am looking to share with 1 other person generally but a couple could be considered as well. Unfortunately it is not suitable for anyone with children. The house is fully furnished. The bedroom is partially furnished with a double bed and a chrome wardrobe/clothes rack. There are 2 rooms to choose from, one is a bit smaller at approximately 3.35m x 3m, the other is about 3.20m x 3.60. Plenty of other storage around the house. I also have a dog that is living inside and on the couch, so you must like dogs!! She's shy at first but a good dog, and a very willing running buddy. So about me: I work in the city, mon-fri 8-5 or thereabouts. I do triathlons, so I train a bit but I'm not a health freak. The sleepout is my bike room :) When I'm not out and about I enjoy a bit of socialising in the house, the odd meal together, watching a movie etc. But it certainly won't be a party house. I'm not into sharing food apart from the abovementioned shared meal. I'm not a neat-freak, but I common areas have to be clean, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. There's a good 500gb naked wireless connection. I also have Stan. I'd like a housemate that is respectful and friendly, someone who is tidy at least in the communal areas we share, and treats the house like their home, therefore also does the odd house duties, like taking out the bins or watering the lawn. This house is in a great location. It is close to public transport with a 3min walk to the nearest train stop and 5min drive to the tram. It is 10min away from the Marion shopping Centre and a 20min drive into the city. The Marion Fitness Leisure Centre is right across from the house and is close to the Marion outside swimming pool. Brighton and Glenelg beach is between a 10-15 min drive away. The house is a two bedroom house and we use the third as an office/dining/spare bedroom. The house has a massive backyard with a three bay shed that is also used a storage. The landlords of the property are family friends of mine and are very good to us. Our neighbours are also very good friends with our landlords and we get along with them really well and their two young childern. We do occasionally baby sit for both of them. I have never had an inspection as of yet and the bills for the house a quite cheap.
