This is a great place if you would like to live mostly by yourself. I travel a lot for work and when I am in Perth, I tend to stay mostly at my boyfriend's place. Just bought a 3 bedroom cottage in Bassendean, less than 10 min walk to Ashfield train station on a quiet street. The house itself is a pretty simple weatherboard cottage, but has an updated kitchen and bathroom. Both bedrooms are decent size with French doors leading out to the garden. I plan to have the third bedroom as a study/guest bedroom. There is reversed cycle aircon and at the moment the house is partly furnished and I'm adding stuff every week so if you have your own furniture or appliances you can bring them. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is a front garden with various fruit trees and a big backyard that needs someone to water it and look after it. If you like gardening that is a big plus! The same if you're reasonably handy as it is a 50+ year old cottage, which although it is well maintained may need the odd job. Rent is negotiable depending on what we agree on in terms of responsibilities . References required as always.

It's a fully furnished 4 bed 2 bath house with reverse cycle heating and cooling built in, sharing the bathroom, living area and kitchen. The bedrooms comfortably fit a queen bed with more room for a desk/tallboy and has a big double mirrored wardrobe. Room can be furnished or unfurnished. Street parking is available on the street and it is a quiet street. Definitely plenty of room in this house as there is an office, theatre and activity room as well. My husband works in IT so he is in his office most of the time with computers but I like to garden and play with our dogs. We like the outdoors so will probably be out and busy most of the time.
