The Beach House is super spacious, cosy and adjacent to the beach. We're fully furnished, and the kitchen well equipped. We've got ducted heating for the chilly winters. Big yard. We're close to shops and public transport- ten minute walk if you don't stop at people's gardens. One 25 minute train to the CBD. Chill, friendly housemates.
Modern ground floor townhouse/unit, 2 minute walk to Bluff Road Coles, 5 minutes drive from Hampton/Sandringham/Highett train stations and the beach. Please keep in mind that the pictures are pretty average because they were taken at night and include the previous tenants furniture. I promise you the place looks WAYYYYY nicer in person - the pictures here simply don't do it justice! I am away on holiday for the next week but will put up more current pictures ASAP! Your room is a decent size (can easily fit a double or queen bed and bed-side tables, as well as a small desk), has built in robes, and is on the opposite end of the house from my room so added privacy. You will also have your own bathroom (literally right outside your room - so basically an ensuite) with bath, shower and toilet. Your room is currently unfurnished, however the rest of the apartment is fully furnished. And just when you thought things couldn't get any better - you even get your own undercover parking spot in the secure remote garage!! The place overall is also very secure and has intercom and electric security gates for garage and walk-in entry. As far as the rest of the place goes, there is a really nice courtyard with a small deck (room for BBQ) that gets heaps of sunshine, and a garden area as well. There is a laundry with washing machine, large open plan modern kitchen/dining area and a large living area. Kitchen has stone benches and stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher). The stove and oven are electric so no gas bill to pay. I have unlimited internet, as well as netflix, stan and apple tv (large 50" tv in lounge room), and fantastic large windows throughout the whole place that let in heaps of natural light and lead out into the private courtyard. The place has heating and reverse cycle air-con. And of course - it's in a gorgeous spot - in between Hampton Street (i.e. the BEACH!) and Bluff Road. Cafes, supermarket, public transport all very close by! Bills/internet will be split between us (so by 2) and are paid every 3 months but aren't very expensive at all. Also more than happy to add you to the lease if you decide you want something more permanent!
Hey Guys, looking to start a share house with one or two other people. Ideally a house or townhouse with a little patch of green, I would rather older with more character and space than brand new boxes. I have a full house of furniture including the second bedroom if someone needs it. Must be willing to go on the lease and look for a place we can equally call our own :)

We don't have to be best friends but can maintain respect for each other's space and privacy. I'd prefer not to have a duty roster for cleaning but to merely clean things when they need cleaning. A fair division of labour. I prefer sociable people, who can talk about issues as they arise. Your friends are welcome visitors. The landlord is very attentive to things that need fixing. He comes and mows the lawns and does gardening when they need to be done. There are no pets. Cat's are possible, but dogs are not possible due to landlord's aversion to them. Electricity, gas, internet, and water are shared evenly. We don't have a home phone, we rely on our own mobiles for that. Internet ($20 per month per person adsl2+ unlimited) can be just added to rent to save on hassle. Bond is actually $920.
