House Cleaning - We all clean up after ourselves. We also have rotating house cleaning roster for shared areas however, as we are all responsible and mature adults, the weekly clean is quick and painless. We like our home clean, organised and tidy and want our new housemate on the same page - so only apply if you are competent using mop and bucket 😉 Is this a party house? No, definitely not a party house because home is a haven for us. However we don't like people who stay in their rooms all the time or avoiding other housemates either. We are in the middle. We enjoy each other’s company and a chat when we see each other but we all want and need some alone time too. We try to have regular catch up during the week (maybe housemate dinner or at least share meal times together) and occasionally go to local farmers market together, or have a Netflix night in watching movie together, drive out to winery or to great ocean rd, peninsula, maybe do a hike together (bonus points if you’re willing to do that coz Ronan loves to hike!) etc but we all have our own busy independent lives so we do not hang out together 24/7. We respect each other’s privacy and separate lives too. We believe life is about the journey and we would like someone who is also after a nice balance between alone and housemate time. And yes - our home looks like it does here in these photos - the same furniture that you see here is in our home and the photos are not furniture hire/ staged photos of when the property was last for sale (like some other places). I’m looking for someone to live with me in my 2bdr sunny Hampton home! The location is on Thomas St in Hampton, about a 5min drive to Hampton St village as well as the beach and many beautiful parks in the area, not to mention close to Hampton and Moorabbin train station for an easy commute to the city. The house has an amazing amount of natural light in all rooms and is fairly well sized with plenty of partitioning if you need to keep to yourself. It is 1 shared bathroom with bathtub and shower and separate toilet. The house also has a little entertaining deck out the back as well as a single carport. There is plenty of off street parking. The room for rent is unfurnished but I have furnished the majority of the house already. A little about me: I’m working full time in retail, hopefully planning to start flight school next year, I work on the side as a photographer. I like to keep a clean and tidy house and value my privacy but also love to make new friends and be social. I love to go out to new cafes or go for drives exploring new places and I don’t drink or smoke. Ideally, I am looking for a housemate around the same age as me that thinks they might be a good fit. 'I have a large single story 3 bedroom unit, with surrounding gardens. Many areas for outside living. There is parking area available, but not under cover. There is a bus stop at the entrance to my property, to Hampton and Westfield shopping centre for transport exchange. I have a well furnished double bedroom, with desk and good inbuilt wardrobe and ample drawer storage. There is also a single bedroom. Under these conditions, the bathroom would become a shared area. Hampton is undergoing big development, both property and commercial, Hampton railway station is about a 10 minute walk and about 15 mins to the beach. The room for rent is carpeted and has a new bed and built in robes, black out blinds for your privacy as well as helping to keep the room cool in the warmer months. The main bathroom will be a shared one with me but there is also an extra toilet. It has 2 levels, with main living upstairs and bedrooms and bathroom downstairs. My home is really light filled with 2 balconies and sliding doors. Perfect for summer living!! Location wise, it couldnt be any more convenient as it's a 3 min drive to southland and a 10min walk to sandringham train station and 15 to the beach. It is a 5 min drive to sandringham hospital and is really in a great spot! The rent includes netflix, stan, amazon movie thingy....unlimited wifi, bills and a cleaner once a month.

There is a separate kitchen with table for study, and lounge room to chill, lovely back yard and garage, the unit is set back from the main road so is quiet. My home is located at the center of busy local shopping centre, this house is great for anyone who either working in the city or studying at Caulfield Monash University. It is only 30 mins to the city (and 10 mins to the University) by trams operated along Dandenong road which is only 5 mins walk away from home. It is also only 15 mins drive away to St Kilda beach and 10 mins to Chapel st. The Chemist, post office, grocery store, cafes, salad bar, restaurants and other local shops are just a step away. The house has a good privacy, and very quiet in the inside considering it's age, it's look from the outside and it's "too" strategic location from everything we need.
We have been living here for about 2 years. This is the best share-house we have lived in by a long shot for a few reasons: - close to train station - close to the city (15 mins by train because the train is express from Caulfield to South Yarra). I guess close depends on your point of view, but before this we were living in Glen Waverley so we consider this quite the upgrade travel wise! - inverted living arrangements (bedrooms downstairs and living upstairs) which means the bedrooms are never too hot (even on 35-40 degree days) - air conditioning and heating upstairs and heaters in every room - really close to the internet exchange point so the internet speed is pretty decent (~14mbps) and we are in the process of having NBN installed so it should be getting much quicker. The room on offer is located at the front of the house ( refer to the floor plan picture). It has a built in wardrobe, as well as extra storage closet under the stairs. Frankie and I have our own ensuite, so the main large bathroom is shared between only 2 people. PLEASE NOTE: The bond for this room is actually $1050 - we aren't sure why the landlord made it this high, but rest assured, all housemates have contributed equally to the bond.
The house is very spacious and it’s in a great location, it's a big house and a stone's throw away from the beach. Great in summer. The living room is massive with a large bay window that looks down on the eildon rd. It's a dead end st so it's pretty quiet. Looking for a potential flatmate long term. Holds permanent residency or sponsored through their work. The living room also has a walk out balcony and so does the kitchen. The room for rent is spacious , it will be unfurnished so you can move your own stuff in. It has a fantastic balcony that looks down onto he garden. Aircon for the hot summer nights. The balcony is a sun trap and its lovely in the evenings. The room also has built in robes. It's not a party house if you get me, into healthy living and we have respect for other flatmates.
