Can be flexible in moving dates. This house is kept in amazing condition and is fully furnished, however you are welcome to bring any furniture you already own as there is still plenty of space to fit more in. The main living area has a huge TV with surround sound and a few game consoles, so you shouldn't get bored. The rest of the downstairs area is really open and full of light during the day and leads into a kitchen with heaps of cupboard space with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, and gas stove. There is also a laundry downstairs - we don't have a dryer, so you'd be welcome to bring one with you - if you have things like a washing machine, there is plenty of storage space so no need to worry about that. The house is carpeted upstairs and has wooden floorboards downstairs. There is an outdoor clothesline and we've really enjoyed having BBQs outside when the weather is nice. The garage houses 4 motorbikes and a little music studio as one of the housemates is a musician and often makes tunes during the day, he is incredibly considerate and more often than not, uses headphones. The neighbours are great, often sharing a yarn over the fence. We have a dog named Bronson who is a really gentle soul and loves going for walks, but is taken care of by his owner so you get to enjoy his company but do nothing else. The house is a 5-10 minute walk to the Moorabbin train station and a 5 minute drive to the beach and Hampton Street. It takes me 15 minutes in the morning (7am) to drive into St.Kilda where I work, perhaps 25 mins if you are in the worst of peak traffic. There are heaps of parks nearby such as Dendy Park which has a walking track, some ovals and exercise equipment. There are a few gyms nearby as well as a servo and a few take away shops. Uber eats delivers here and your housemates are sociable and genuine company. We all pull our weight in regards to doing household cleaning etc, but aren't pedantic about it. The real estate agent is really good as well, they were really happy with us on our most recent inspection (they even wrote us a card saying thanks for keeping the house in such good condition). I'm only moving because I want to move in with my girlfriend and will really miss the house, housemates, dog and good times. We usually watch a movie in the evening (Tuesdays being Horror night). We share the essentials but have our own pantry space and fridge shelf. There is lots of parking in the street and it is safe. I'm happy to negotiate if you would like to keep the bed which is currently in the room as well as the set of drawers and side tables. It would save me moving them and I don't need them anyway, so if you want them just let me know and offer a fair price. Bond is $1042.50 and you'd be expected to sign the lease which is up in March but the real estate agent tells us the owners are long term renters so it is likely to be rolled over month-month after that, which is pretty standard. No couples sorry.
