So my housemate is currently in the midst of moving out in the next month and it's been great living here! Internet and all bills are included so feel free to go nuts (no tight assess here lol) it's a safe and secure house located at the rear of the property (two on the block) and our neighbours are pretty cool also! You can chose what room you prefer they are both approx 3.5 X 3.5m with built in robes with plenty of space and there is a seperate toilet and shower! You'll get half the vanity in the bathroom also to put your things! Currently the room is furnished but we can work around that if that suits! The house is located across the road from shops and a bus stop and 10 minute walk to Southland and 20 minute walk to the station. I love this apartment for so many reasons! I moved here 2 months ago so I could be close to the beach, it is near new and is walking distance to the beach as well as lovely cafes etc and the Sandringham train station. It is also a few minutes down the road from Southland shopping centre. I have a large balcony and there is also a communal rooftop bbq deck within the apartment building. The apartment is a secure building that requires an access swiper to get in as well as lift access. The apartment has reverse cycle heating and cooling in the main living area which very quickly spreads to the other rooms (it is supersonic!) The apartment is fully furnished, including glassware, crockery, decor etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including a dishwasher and coffee machine. In the available rooms, there is a bed, bedside table, shelving and built in robe in the bedroom (there would be room for chest of drawers if you wanted to bring along). In the bathroom you have a large shower, toilet, basin and mirrored cupboard. Note that within the spare bathroom is the laundry "cupboard" where the washer/dryer lives. My apartment is located 5 minutes from the train station and 20 minutes on the train will take you into the city. Mentone's main shopping district consists of trendy cafes, restaurants and 2 main supermarkets and is only a 5 minute walk from where I reside.
