The house is a spacious 3 bedroom red brick house with a massive backyard and we've got a heap of couches out there and a table tennis table which makes it nice to chill with friends there. The kitchen is quite modern (featuring dishwasher, hooray!). And the rooms are well sized! The room is at the front of the house are has a beautiful fireplace in the corner (not for use, just for looks :) ) Rent is $120 a week! Bond is $720... I know, that sucks. We are clean and tidy people, however, not OCD so someone who knows how to clean up after themselves will be a winner! Ideally I am looking for someone wanting a long term lease(min 12 months). The house is approx. 14 years old and is located at the end of a quiet street, 2 mins from the city and 5 from the beach, close to local shopping centre, bus and train. The house has air-conditioning/heating, broadband internet and main living necessities, all but your room furniture basically!! The room available is approx 3.8 x 4m with a built-in robe. The main bathroom is shared between 2, however, it is a female friendly bathroom being a 3-way bathroom as such. The electricity, gas, water and internet are split 3 ways. The man of the house is Oscar who is a 7 year old Maltese Silky, his offsider, Ollie (5) is a Daschund x Mini Foxie, both are small dogs mainly outside, buuutt sometimes are spoilt and let in at night to sleep. I am quite strict on both dogs, don’t like yappy dogs, but they are dogs after all and will bark to let me know someone is around! Our housemate Elinor is heading back to the UK after finishing her exchange, so we're looking for a new housemate! Location - With the CBD a 5 minute drive to the east, the beach 10 minute to the west, the location is great for uni students and people working in town who want to avoid living in the busy centre but still want to be where its all happening. Shops - plenty of shops nearby, including a foodland just down the road and everything henley beach road has to offer - plus the local pub is the Wheatsheaf! Public transport - a bus stop to the CBD just outside the house, a free tram to the CBD and back just down the road - and when the weather is good going by foot or on a bike is even better! Parking in the two-car garage is available, as only one of us needs off-street parking currently. If all three of us need garage space in the future its up for discussion between housemates. Parking is also easily available on streets nearby. The room itself is listed as unfurnished - but the previous housemate moving out has some furniture which will be left behind. Some could be bought, other stuff is free to be used - message me for details. Otherwise the room can be completely empty if you have your own stuff! The room also has a decent sized in-built robe. The rest of the house is fully furnished - but other furniture is welcome if you have a favourite couch or TV etc :)
This house is very pet friendly so if you're not good with fur babies, may not be a good fit. Super close to the city and the airport, lots of busses and a short bike ride. Cafes and supermarkets are very close and Ifyou love plane spotting... this is the place to be :)
