The room will be unfurnished but the rest of the apartment is furnished. The apartment is very well insulated so it is nice and warm in winter and cool in summer, so you will rarely need to turn the AC on. Bills are shared including internet. The building has a pool and a well equipped gym (so no need for a gym). You will be sharing with 1 guy 35 yo who works fulltime. No pets allowed. Outdoor smokers on the balcony only is ok. The apartment is quite big, and has a balcony on either side which can let plenty of sun and air in. Ducted air-con and heating keeps everything very comfortable. The complex has a pretty great gym, heated pool and sauna included. There is also a shared BBQ area for entertaining. The location is pretty amazing being right on London Circuit with short walks to Palace Electric Cinema, Lake Burley Griffin and the rest of Civic! The bedroom is big enough to get a queen bed and a desk along the same wall (probably a king depending on desk size). As I have an ensuite, you would have the main bathroom shown in the pictures to yourself. I have a Netflix account set up for multiple users and the internet is VSDL2 (fast) and unlimited. You would have an off-street parking spot within the building, and it is an individual spot (rather than a large spot that share 2 cars). The bills (Gas/Electricity/Internet) are split between the 2 of us, and work out to be approximately $165 a month (that's a rough average over the last year or so ).

I have a washing machine and dryer, and most of the necessities when it comes to everyday living that you are very welcome to use. MOST IMPORTANTLY: This is a share lease arrangement. You will need to sign onto the lease with me. The real estate is not keen on approving anyone that does not have a full time job or a guarantor to ensure the rent could be paid in case one of us leaves the lease arrangement. You would need $1040 for the 1/2 share in the bond, plus 2 weeks rent in advance.

The place is really close to the city, and to Lonsdale st, which can be trouble. It’s on a massive block, despite the house itself not being huge, and we just found a plum tree and there are some roving chickens every now and then. The rooms are decently sized, with high ceilings and room enough for a queen sized bed, a desk and a little built in robe tucked in the corner. The kitchen and bathroom are dated but it's a pretty charming little place. I am no photographer, so the snaps aren’t doing it many favours.

The apartment is a stone’s throw from Lonsdale Street, full of Canberra's best cafe's, coffee, restaurants and boutique shopping. It's only 800m to the city centre with the major shopping centre and bus interchange to connect you to the rest of the city. It’s an ideal space, with your own bathroom, shared laundry and kitchen facilities with access to the building’s pool and tennis court. A reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge room takes care of the open plan living space. An the apartment has a small balcony over looking Torrens Street. The main bathroom with shower and toilet is all yours, but does also contain the laundry area (washing machine and dryer). The room is equiped with a built in wardrobe, with hanging space and shelving. There's an inbuilt heater for the winter - which is a dream when it gets in winter. Please note there is not enough space in the bedroom for a desk, therefore not ideal for students. G’day! Unfortunately two of our current housemates are moving out to pursue their dreams in the wild North of Australia. In doing so, we now have two rooms on offer. This house is a 2 minute walk to Lonsdale street and all it has to offer. Only a short walk into the city for work or play, and has a great back courtyard to sit and relax. Although close to everything, it is on a very quiet street and has secure off-street parking if needed. The house is new and modern, and comes fully furnished other than the rooms on offer - although beds could be arranged if needed. We have a cleaner that cleans the house every fortnight, and this is split between us at $30 per fortnight. Internet is also split, and is $20 per month each. The room on offer is the large master bedroom, with an ensuite and walk in robe. There is also a car port available if necessary. There is also a second, slightly smaller room without an en-suite.
