Hi there! Jess and I have just signed the lease for our new home in Kensington! It’s a 3 bedroom house so we are looking for a friend to join us. In (honestly) my favourite tree lined street in Kensington, super close to Kensington train station, free on street parking and just around the corner from Macaulay road shops! The home has loads of character, super high ceilings and a backyard that I’m sure will get plenty of use for many a bev. The room on offer is the 3rd room, smaller than the other 2 which is reflected in the much lower price. It fits a queen size bed and bedside tables and has space for a free standing cupboard/clothes rack. Will probably suit someone without loads and loads of stuff as it definitely is the smaller room! A nice big window for plenty of light though. Jess and I have all the furnishings needed for the house but if you’re able to bring a kitchen table, outdoor table or BBQ.. major brownie points!! You’ll just need to bring your rooms furniture and you’re good to go. We’ll obviously do some rearranging too if you have furniture you want in the place! We take over the lease on March 1st, so have some time to find the right person to fit into our new home. The photos posted are from the real estate.... The bathroom has both a shower and a bath in one! :p Your room can be furnished if you wish, and has a fairly spacious built-in-robe. Wifi is included in the rent however bills are not, we will spilt these equally. :) The tram stop is literally right outside the building, and the train stop is a few minutes walk away. The building is extremely close to hospitals, universities and the CBD.
I love living here! The building has a gym, sauna, BBQ area, swipe access, round the clock security, and secured parking. There's an IGA below the building, and other grocery stores/restaurants not too far away. I've just moved, so the apartment is partly furnished. I've got an amazing view, unlimited internet, a bath, a fridge and a washing machine, so that's taken care of. Happy to chat about the furnishing required in the room but it comes with a built in robe. It's one minute from the tram stop and five minutes from the train station, which makes it incredibly convenient to get around Melbourne.
