Hi everyone!, I have a large unfurnished room (easily fit king/queen bed - two sets of built in robes) available in a two bedroom terrace house in the leafy part of Flemington. It's a short walk to the tram stop or the train station, as well as cafes and bars. It's also near a separate bike path into the city as well as park lands for running etc. It's also very near to a CityLink exit and entrance, and - in relation to community safety - about 200 m from the Police Station. The house itself is recently renovated with floorboards throughout, a dishwasher and heating and cooling. The kitchen / lounge area is open plan. There is a paved outdoor area with two sheds and some underground storage space. I plan to set up a barbecue and outdoor setting out there in the near future. I have the common area furniture pretty covered with couches, TV, dining table, etc. I also have a decent fridge and kitchen utensils. I have a drier and will otherwise buy a clothes washer but it would be great if you have one. Otherwise we can of course work out where to fit whatever you have. Otherwise the house is well set up as shown in the photos and is in a convenient spot. You will need to be approved by the real estate agent. The rent is an even split in case you're concerned about that. While I personally love pets the lease does not allow for one, which is a shame...

We are looking for a responsible and neat person to take over one of the rooms in a large and well-maintained house for 4 months. Hello! We have a room free in our beautiful and spacious 5 person share house available for immediate move in. We are located in North Melbourne, very close to the city, hospitals and Melbourne Uni. The room is large with no BIR but loads of room for shelves! Queen bed could be available to purchase off last roommate as well as a few drawers. This is a great top-floor apartment in the inner north, close to Errol Street shopping area, Royal Park and just a 30 minute walk from the CBD (or a 10 minute bike ride). Lots of public transport nearby, too, with the 55, 57 and 59 trams, North Melbourne and Macaulay train stations and the 402 bus just outside the door. The apartment itself is in a historic building (it was originally built as a pub in 1869) and includes open-plan kitchen and dining, lounge, laundry, and a big, bright bathroom. There's also a huge deck area complete with barbecue, plants and, of course, a hammock. Your room is the largest of the three, and the only bedroom to contain a fireplace-style gas heater and an air-conditioning unit. We are 6 minutes walk to the tram stop on Mt Alexander Road (Tram 59), and a short tram ride to RCH, other hospitals and to the city. Walking distance also to Ascot Vale train station! We are close to the shopping and cafe strip of Puckle Street in Moonee Ponds, 15 minutes’ drive to Highpoint Shopping Centre, and conveniently close to the Brunswick Road entry and exit of CityLink. Our home is a singlefronted weatherboard house with plenty of room, there is an amazing 5 gas burner stove top and an oven big enough to fit anything your tummy desires! The front of the house has a cute verandah but if that’s not enough space we have a massive two level deck out the back for entertaining and relaxing, perfect for enjoying the sunshine or watching the rain over a few bevvies. There is ducted heating throughout the house, a newly installed reverse cycle air conditioner in the lounge and living areas. The available bedroom has a spacious walk in wardrobe attached to a large bathroom you will share with one other, it has a double sink and mirrors so is easily shared when getting ready at the same time!
