Beautiful recently renovated terrace house. It has a back deck with table and chairs and backyard. There's a huge living area and a brand new kitchen. Our neighbours are awesome (we only have them on one side, the other side of the house joins a warehouse - no noise complaints ever). We are so close to public transport incl. buses (Parramatta Rd), trains (Lewisham) and light rail (Taverners Hill). We have two fridges. The bills are all included, with unlimited wifi internet and access to Netflix (which is hooked up to the 60 inch TV at the end of my bed). We have a band new front loader washing machine and a clothes line. We don't have air-conditioning but there's a fan in my room and it is on the bottom floor of the house so it doesn't get that warm in summer. My room has a double bed with a foam overlay. Theres plenty of storage space in my room including drawers and hanging space. If you like smoking we just ask that you do it on the back deck with the door closed :) $300 a week is for one person, but I will consider couples/friends for $360 a week (I'll have to run it by my housemates first).

I’m going back home to Perth for the summer and need someone to take care of my room when I’m away. It’s a clean eight weeks: the dates are Monday 14th of November until Monday 2nd January, rent is $260 a week (negotiable: but bills, internet, everything included). The room is at the front of the house: it's a decent size with a double bed, desk, clothes rack, and a little chest of drawers. Good amount of floor space, and heaps of natural light from the window. The house is a gorgeous 3-bed/1-bath set up on a relatively quiet street in Annandale (save the occasional whisper of an A380 overhead). Sweet little kitchen with a gas stove, dangerously comfortable couch in the lounge, and cute backyard set up with an outdoor laundry. There's also a piano, which you're welcome to play as long as it's at a reasonable hour and you don't play Chopsticks (ironically or otherwise). We're right on the 470 bus into the city and 370 to Coogee (via Glebe, Newtown, Alexandria, and also Canberra probably), 15m walk to Lilyfield light rail and 20m walk to Stanmore train station. A short toddle up Booth street will take you to a multitude of great cafes, eateries, pubs/bars, and shops. We like to keep the house pretty sparkling, so looking for someone mature and responsible who’ll be happy to pitch in with the cleaning and will keep my room in good shape while I'm gone. It'd probably best suit someone in their mid-20s, maybe a working professional or another post-grad student.

Our cool warehouse-style apartment is in a great part of the inner-west just a short stroll to the light rail and a two-minute drive to Norton Street (small bars, cinema, shopping centre, etc.). Upstairs has plenty of natural light spilling throughout two open plan living areas and a massive kitchen with adjoining balcony. Downstairs you'll find the three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a courtyard. The room available is a nice sized double bedroom with space for a wardrobe (there are no built-ins) and a bedside table. It is next to the bathroom you'll be sharing with one other person.
