House is a short walk from the Marrickville train station and shops, and the train to the city is about 10 - 15 minutes. There is also great night life in Marrickville including small bars Titus Jones, Gasoline Pony, Beejays and the soon to be opened Where's Nick. There is live music every night up at one of our personal favorites Lazybones Lounge plus there is also The Red Rattler, Camelot Lounge and The Factory Theater just a short walk away which are also all great live music venues too. The food options in the area are plentiful and of the highest quality. Besides all the great cafes and restaurants, you can still find great fast food such as the famous Marrickville Pork Roll. The whole house is furnished but your room will be empty, so all you will need is your bed and any other furnishings you require. Its not a huge room, but has built ins and can fit a queen sized bed and bedside table with some room to spare. As our previous housemate is moving interstate, she will have some of her previous belongings for sale so if you need a furnished room she may be able to sell you some furniture at a good price. Being a relatively modern house that was only built a few years ago, its equipped with modern fittings and appliances. The house is also huge featuring 5 rooms but only 4 are occupied by flatmates as the 5th room is our "movie room". The kitchen is out of this world if you enjoy cooking. We also have a cleaner who comes every 3 weeks. We have a separate bar fridge for beer and beer. House is perfectly located 150mts from Marrickville train station and Cornersmith cafe. With bus services just 3 minutes away and heaps of restaurants and amazing small bars. And the house is super quiet.
