Cheap rent, literal 2 minute walk from the train station and Woolworths, close to a long strip of cafes and restaurants and a 10min bus ride to Newtown! Very spacious lounge room (pictured, although furniture/decor has now changed) with lots of natural light. You will have the advertised bedroom all to yourself, and it is much bigger than it looks -- the previous tenant fit a double bed in there with much room to spare! The only downside to this room is that it lacks a door, but it's a pretty good trade off for such cheap rent and such a good location. Currently, a curtain is being used but a partition could be bought if you so wish. Generally quiet area and landlords are super nice. If you are looking for a place not too far from the city and doesn't mind walking 6mins between train station/light rail and home then this place is perfect for you! This flat is a 5 min walk from Dulwich hill train and light rail station. Its down the back of the block, and is quiet (No planes!). The flat looks over the pool and gets heaps of sun. Its just been renovated, so everything is brand new. We are on the ground floor so not many stairs to haul your shopping up. You'd be sharing with only me. I only moved here a few weeks ago, so I'm still figuring out where to put everything, so if you have any stuff you wan't to put in the public area, there wont be problem making it fit. The entire flat is furnished except your room (except a couch which should hopefully be coming soon. If you have a couch, even better). I'm looking for someone who wants this to be a home and not just a place to crash. That being said, i will respect your privacy if you want to be alone. Internet is nbn, and all bills are not included as I'm not sure how much they'll be yet, but we'll split them when they come. Also willing to swap rooms and give you the big one for 300 a week. The living space is spacious and modern, with both AC and heating - its a pretty comfy place to chill and gets plenty of sunlight during the day. It's furnished (couch, dining, tv, fridge, microwave, tables etc), but it'll be your home too so your touches are welcome. The bedroom has a large mirrored built-in wardrobe, fits a queen sized bed and a set of drawers or desk if you desired. You would have your own bathroom. There's a large balcony with a small BBQ, the usual kitchen appliances including gas cooking, an internal laundry and plenty of storage in the apartment and down in the garage.
Located in the heart of Enmore, our beloved "Elstow Mansion" is an enormous old house that has been divided into six units. We have the top front section, which has its own entrance, 3 enormous bedrooms, a lounge room, bathroom, dine in kitchen and laundry. Elstow is fully furnished with everything you need, but you are welcome to add to and of course, furnish the available room with your own things. It's also super convenient for public transport. The place is old and has character, but not so much that it's annoying. We are nestled in between all the goodness of Enmore Road, King St, Addison Rd, Enmore Park and Marrickville, If you like cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants, music venues, second hand shops and markets, they are quite literally on your doorstep. Convenience store across road and Marrickville Metro is about 15 mins walk away across the lovely Enmore Park. Or there is the IGA about 5 mins walk. Bus stop out the front with regular services up Enmore Rd/King St into the city or to Bondi Junction OR 15 min walk to either Newtown or Stanmore Station. There is a carport out the back shared by the units. Lisa is using the current car spot allocated for the apartment but there are often free spots on occasion if you have a car.
