Large house spread across 4 levels, The Barracks and Caxton St are up the road but house is surprisingly quiet. 2 minutes to Coles etc at the Barracks and only a 10-15 minute walk to CBD and South Bank. House is beautifully furnished and the galley kitchen has all the appliances a cook could ask for. Lounge room has a large television with Netflix account. The available bedroom has a queen bed, chest of drawers and bedside tables. The large windows fill the room with light and most importantly it has a brand new air conditioner! The bedrooms are on separate levels with a balcony off the room we’re advertising. There’s 2 bathrooms, one shared with this room and an additional toilet on the ground floor. A lovely garden is at the back of the house, with a Weber BBQ and plenty of hanging plants. Parking is a bit tricky on this street if you have a car, but is usually fine. You’ll have a parking pass as a resident. All bills including unlimited wifi.

We've got most everything you will need (Washing machine, BBQ, large under house secure storage room, 2 bathrooms, 2 fridges, clotheslines, small paved backyard). There is a bed, set of draws, bedside table, and clothes rack available for the room. However, we don't mind if you want to swap any of it for your own as there is plenty of storage space under the house. The location is amazing for students as it is close to UQ and QUT. We have a Coles and small shopping plaza with a cinema located at The Barracks; 200m walk from our house, situated adjacent to Caxton st, filled with bars and pubs, great sports/night precinct. Off street parking is available for four cars. It is possible to apply for a residential parking permit which will cost $25 and give you access to street parking on Sheriff St and one street nearby. For public transport, there is a bus station 4 minutes away by foot, and both Milton and Roma st train stations are a 10-minute walk. Neighbors are close but quiet and we have never had any problems with them. Lots of places within walking distance which could be a great opportunity for casual work. - Room is 2.7 x 3m
House is a high-ceiling 3-bedroom Queenslander with a large balcony at the back, along with a substantial backyard. There's also a large storage area underneath the house, including space for parking. The room (like the rest of the house) is very spacious, with a built-in ceiling fan, timber flooring with ample natural light. Located in a really nice area, you'll be living within a few minutes walk to some quality coffee shops, craft beer & burger bars, etc along Latrobe & Petrie Terrace. I've found that Paddington manages to be centrally located yet never too congested or loud.
The location is what caught my interest when I moved into this house as well as the front balcony, the undercover storage area and the walks to the coffee shops. It is very central in Paddington near the Cafe’s, gym, clothes shops and suncorp stadium. The bathroom is very spacious as well as the lounge room which caters well for three house mates. Wifi is accessible easily and Netflix can be used as you please.

Caxton Street has an amazing atmosphere and a very sociable nightlife. This humble abode is opposite Suncorp Stadium and very close to multiple restaurants and bars. Public transport is easy access, there is a bus stop right out the door and Roma Street Station is a 10 minute walk. Coles and convenience stores very close by, and the City is a 15 minute walk.
