Renting out a medium sized room in the Milton/Auchenflower area This place is perfect for students, as it is situated more or less halfway between UQ and QUT. There is a city-cat stop about 10 minutes walk away, with only 2 or 3 stops each way to either uni. The street overlooks and runs parallel to Coronation Drive, and also has bus stops running each way within 100 meters or so. Auchenflower train station is about a 5 minute walk from the front door. There is a pretty constant breeze coming off the river which goes straight into the apartment when the windows or doors are open. Your room has a window facing this direction, so you can take advantage of this. The move in date is approximate, however will be at some time around the end of July. The bond is actually $613. We’re located 3min away from Milton train station, just 5min by train to the city. There are lots of restaurants around the building, it’s a quite nice neighbourhood. The unit is pretty nice as well, we’ve been living here for 3 years. You’ll be sharing the room with my sister and the bathroom with her as well. The unit has its own private rooftop with a BBQ which we enjoy quite a lot during the warmer months.
