Losing a damn solid housemate in the coming weeks as Melbourne claims her, landing Victoria a harsh uppercut to the QLD nether regions in the process and so here we go again... Unfurnished room* for rent in spacious, city-adjacent Milton apartment just a block away from Milton Station, Park Road and Coronation Drive; a stone's throw from Suncorp Stadium, the Barracks shopping centre and Caxton St, also easy walking distance to/from the CBD, Toowong and South Bank/West End just over the river (Coles West End in 15 minutes by foot last I checked, though my PB'd smoke that if I were to try I reckon). Vibrant little neighbourhood, rad neighbours, laidback housemates and cheap utilities plus a ton of public transport options and close proximity to nearby universities (QUT Gardens Point, UQ Griffith/Conservatorium, UQ St Lucia). Rent paid fortnightly, hot water/power utilities quarterly and always cheap (even with everyone doing as they like) and unlimited ADSL $21 a month. The house is in a great location, close to transport – bus on Coronation Drive or Milton Rd, the train station is a few hundred meters away, and close to the Park Road entertainment precinct where you will find La Dolce Vita Ristorante, Arrivederci Pizza and the Scratch Bar. We have Tuc Tuc Bar and Aether Brewing Co close by and of course there is Suncorp Stadium an easy walk away, with Newstead Brewing and Caxton Street. The house itself is cool in summer and warm in winter and has a nice shady little garden out the back. Unlimited internet is included in the bills as is the full Foxtel suite. There is a large verandah on the upper level and a small patio on the lower level. The rent is a very reasonable $195/w plus $15/w towards water, so a total of $210, which includes all the bills as well as unlimited internet and the full Foxtel suite.

Hey All! We have a room for rent in Milton, Brisbane just 5 minutes walk from train/bus and just two stations away from Brisbane CBD. About the place: The unit have just about 2 of everything: - 2 bedrooms, - 2 bathrooms, - 2 carparks. Along with your room, the main bathroom will be your's and one of the car parks will be yours as well. The unit is fully furnished (other than your room - we do have a spare double-sized mattress that you're welcome to use) with coffee machine, washing machine, drier, etc. It has a medium sized kitchen and lounge room, and a large verandah. Cost for all of this and all bills included (electricity, water, gas, etc) is $210 per week. What we are looking for: Hoping for someone close to our age (between 18 and 35), outgoing, and respectful of our privacy as well. Extra points go to anyone that (not essential): - rides motorbikes, - is outdoorsy, - enjoys a quiet drink and a party here or there.

On street parking available for all year round. Building has its own gym and heated swimming pool. Right next door to a bunch of local shops and cafes with an IGA just 5mins walk away that closes at midnight every night. Milton train station just at the end of the street and Coronation Drive is 2mins walk with riverside pathways for easy travel. Current housemate is moving away at the end of the lease and the place is too convenient to pass up. All bills are not included in the rent, however it's exceptionally cheap to keep the place running. We just pay the bill as we go. No pets sorry.
