Situated right on Hyde Park and only 500m from the centre of Beaufort Street, this 1935 character apartment is a perfect blend of spacious and cosey. The building is made up of 4 apartments with myself being the only tenant of 3 owners. The owner of this apartment lives below, so maintenanceis always upkept, however courtesy is key to living here. I have been here for 3 years, originally as a flatshare before taking the lease over 2 years ago. The apartment has 3metre high ceilings creating a great sense of space, and an abundance of natural light with windows on almost every external wall. It also has a working open fireplace as well as ultra fast NBN which is included in rent. About the room; as I said I originally moved in here as the flatshare and had that room. At 3.6m x2.4m (not including the doorway or cupboard) it can easily fit a double bed (I haven’t tried a queen) and 2 side tables but doesn’t leave room for much else. In saying that, my master bedroom is quite large, so I will be turning that into a second lounge for myself, allowing you to take priority in the main lounge; you will simply need your own TV is all, or I’m happy to help shop around for something cheap should you require. This place definitely isn’t a party house, I rarely have people over, however the occasional Friday night pre-drinks is fine but we generally wrap it up early and push off to one of the many pubs within walking distance. Day drinks on the balcony isn’t an issue either as long as it stays respectful.

Absolutely fantastic, central location. Beaufort street is a well within walking distance, along with hyde park and some of Perth's best restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs. The house is actually really big for a 3 x 1. Nice street with great neighbours and and relaxed vibe. The house is full of character, with high ceilings and floorboards throughout. The room itself is enormous, loads of space and has a nice bay window. Character wardrobe provided but can get rid of it if needed. Both the back and frontyard’s are enormous and the house even has a street library. I have put a lot of work into rejuvenating and renovating the gardens as I am a qualified landscape gardener and get a huge kick out of beautifying neglected garden spaces. It’s an older Federation style home which is very comfortable and homely... The bedroom available is a large room with a large sleep out attached via French Doors.. The room would suit an art student/designer as is it makes a pefect studio work shop.. My current house mate uses it for this purpose.. My preference is for someone 35/45+ and female.. Cats are very welcome... I keep a clean tidy audible home and only house trained applicants should apply.. Easy access to the Freeway and public transport if required...
