We’re looking for a tenant for our upstairs bedroom. The house is located within a 15 minute walk to oakleigh central and station and a 5-10 minute drive to Monash uni. You’ll be living with a couple downstairs (both 20) and two males upstairs (30 and 23) who you’ll be sharing a spacious bathroom and separate toilet with. All of us are University/tafe students with part time jobs so we’re in and out quite a bit. The house is pretty big with a great kitchen and spacious living/ lounge areas. There is air conditioning and heating for those real bad days. There is street parking if you have a car, if not the bus stop is just across the road to go to Monash or a bit further down to go to chadstone or elsewhere. Overall it’s a great house, very spacious, super decent closet sizes, it’s in a great location (most of us don’t have a car but can get everywhere on foot or by bus). We can’t wait to meet you!!!
A nice room with full of light. It has been furnished with with a double bed and matress, a table and chair and BIR wardrobe. The house is, huge, new and clean with two big yards, two car parks back and front. It has central heating and air conditioning. It's located in oakleigh south, 8 mins walking to Huntingdale station and 3 mins walking to the nearest bus stop. It is very convenient for those studying at Monash university, RMIT and Univ of Melbourne. The price includes gas, electricity, water and internet bills, also stuff in toilet. Hang on! We have just bought a robot cleaner so you don't have to bother cleaning your room, just leave the door open, it will enter and clean it ^^ If you are looking for a home which is warm and safe to stay, you have found the one. We expect a respectful housemate, tidy and keep the common place clean and respect other's privacy.
This property has honestly been an amazing first post-living-with-mum house. It has a nice grassy back yard, plenty of windows, a big kitchen with lots of storage. The house has central heating and an aircon. The room itself is spacious with a big window. There is room in the garage for storing spare stuff. The toilet is separate from the bathroom which is handy dandy.

The house is two story with the kitchen, living, laundry, Will's room and ensuite, and toilet downstairs. Upstairs there is a second bathroom with two basins, a rumpus room with couch, TV & desk, Rory's room and my room which has a large walk in wardrobe. Outside there is a washing line, BBQ, and small grass area. We have Netflix, ducted heating which keeps it nice and toasty in winter, and each room has its own air conditioner.
Located just off of North Road, it is a surprisingly quiet location that is conveniently placed near Huntingdale Station (800m) as well as Monash University, both within walking distance. Additionally, shopping centers such as Chadstone and the soon to be completed M-City are a about 10 minute drive away. Both rooms are currently unfurnished as they are brand new, and both have their own air conditioning and wardrobes and are located on the second floor of the building. Both rooms also have access to a shared bathroom on the second floor that is to be maintained by both tenants, and also have access to a powder room on the first floor (to be maintained by landlord). While both rooms are the same in terms of their dimensions, one room is priced higher to allow the tenant the use of the study space located on the second floor should they require additional space for their belongings. This is entirely optional, and should either tenant wish to not make use of this space they will be charged at the normal $250 per week rate. The home will come equipped with brand new kitchen appliances (fridge, dish washer, cook top, microwave, etc.) that will be shared between everyone. Ideally, this home is suitable for young working class individuals who need to work in the city, or work nearby in the surrounding suburbs. Alternatively, this home would also be ideal for students due to how close Monash University is located. Finally, my dog Koba, a 3 year old Japanese Spitz will also be living on the premises. The rent includes private use of one bedroom plus shared use of two living spaces, kitchen, laundry, bathroom and large rear yard. The room is currently furnished but I can remove furniture if you have your own. I keep the house clean and tidy. It is light and spacious and has air conditioning and ducted heating.
