We are quite a social house and enjoy hanging out together. Having said that we are all quite busy with work, but love to catch up when anyone happens to be at home. Unfortunately one of the current housemates is moving to England so there's a room going in a lovely three bedroom terrace house right on the border of Surry Hills! The house has an open plan dining room that leads to the kitchen and living area. The place is clean and homely with a lovely warm electric fire place in the living room for the winters. The house stays cool in the summers and we have a quiet courtyard with a BBQ, and a separate laundry area in the house. The place is fully furnished and there's the option to buy the furniture in the downstairs bedroom or bring your own. Upstairs room will need furnishings. Less than 10 mins walking distance to Central train station and all main bus routes. 5 mins from Crown Street, literally a few doors down from the Norfolk Hotel and Surry Hills is across the road. very central and super easy to get to the city and just about anywhere in Sydney from the beaches to the Blue Mountains. Plenty of parking around and we can get a permit as well if needed. The bedroom ($310 p/w) is located at the front of the house, has room for a queen bed with built-in storage and desk area on one wall. There is a bathroom with a shower downstairs as well which is your own. The room is available from 1st September, rent is paid every two weeks plus $28.50 in bills at the start of the month for internet. Gas, electricity and water bills come in quarterly and are usually around $160 per person in total for three months (we just split 3 ways). Bond is 4 weeks, which is also the notice period.
