These are NOT shared rooms. Definitely not for couples. All bills included. They only thing you'll need to bring with you is linen and your personal items. Everything else is here. We're all active (boys/girls), outgoing and sporty people. We kayak, SUP, run, swim and play all sorts of random sports. You'll quite often find us with a beer and pizza on the lounge having a beer and watching a movie. We're looking for a similar person to come and join in the fun. The room is furnished with queen bed, desk, chair, bedside table and lamp. Also has a huge (4..5m wide) cupboard space. You probably wont need more storage... House itself is of a good standard, has an open fire place, big back and front yards, double lock up garage (not for cars, sporting goods storage only), Included in the price of the room is all bills which is a fortnightly cleaner, electricity, water, netflix, fire wood (did I mention we have a fire place?) We have kayaks, stand up paddle board, table tennis,PS4/XBOX one/Wii for mario cart, halo, COD, board games a plenty, darts, bar fridge and an Espresso machine. Basically all the necessities. You wont need to bring anything. It's a very good house, located about 300m from the water on Iron Cove Bay (it's the next suburb over from Drummoyne). nicely furnished with random bits of colour everywhere. It's fully furnished. Has everything that's needed to live rather comfortably... On street parking is available and is somewhat plentiful. NO ONSITE PARKING. We have dogs :) their names are Busta and Prini, both quite young and active. So if you're not a dog person you can stop reading here! Second to that if you're into night clubbing/partying to all hours on a regular basis, please also stop reading here. Third time lucky, if you're a smoker we're probably not keen (there is absolutely no smoking on premises due to health issue of a resident of the house). It is a home and we all like to keep things reasonably tame, respectful and pleasant. Not to say we live like nuns though... Minutes from the bay run, 400m to bus stop and buses direct to the City/Leichardt/University Sydney. We have a cleaner (she's lovely) and gardener (me) so there is not really a lot of maintenance anyone needs to do which is great for us folk that hate doing that stuff. FAQ's Can I stay short term? YES! However, the shortest I will allow is 12 weeks. Can I bring my dog/cat? No sorry, we already have enough pets. Can my girlfriend/boyfriend or other person share the room with me? No sorry. There's already enough people in the house. The odd sleepover is ok, we just don't want a couple to be living in the house. Can I park my car in the garage if I pay extra? No. Possibly a motorbike. Perfect option for someone looking for a short term arrangement close to the CBD - there's no minimum stay as I'm just keen to keep the room filled for now. It's a modern, chilled out space, 15 minutes by bus from the CBD but not as busy as many surrounding suburbs. I'm an ex backpacker, reluctantly entering into a 9-5 lifestyle so hopefully the right balance between sociable and mature enough not to party every night. The room is a decent size with a comfortable double bed. For me it's an ideal compromise between easy access to the city and an affordable space wheres it's not so hectic as somewhere like Strathfield or Conchord.

Hi there. I live in a large unit. I am fully self contained in a double bedroom (meaning I have my bedroom, lounge and office setup in a single room). This leaves a large second bedroom and lounge room unused. Internet is cable unlimited data. Included in rent. The Unit is in the main street of Five Dock. Overlooking Great North Road. I may have put that in the title. I dunno. I get confused sometimes. There are currently three pictures posted. The one with the iron is the spare lounge that I will populate with 2x leather recliners and some audio gear (notably my Technics SL1200 turntable and growing vinyl collection so if you have or enjoy vinyl...). The other empty room is 'the' bedroom. I can (and probably will) get a bed in there (this coming weekend (21/7)). There's a Weber BBQ on the rear (covered) verandah. Negatives: the bathroom is smaller than I would like. And it's a bit worse for wear. It is clean however. The kitchen I am working on. It doesn't have sufficient bench space for cooking so I have purchased a stainless steel cooking bench thingy. That will no doubt just make me feel guilty because I am always too busy to cook and live on food delivered by men who always look unhappy because the font door to my house on on the rear street. And they never read the directions that take a whole 3 minutes to punch into my phone. So I look equally annoyed. The property has bus stops out the front. Directly in front I think. I prefer the train myself. Buses seem like... little incubation chambers. You are probably thinking 'he's on drugs'. You would be right. Antibiotics. Because I caught a bus. Ummm... there's a supermarket at the end of the street. Approximately 150m from the front gate. That's all I can think of right now. If you have any questions you can call or message. After 1730 in the afternoon would be best. Oh... I nearly forgot. There are many gyms close by. A freshly refurbished Anytime Fitness is about one minute from the unit. Some other pokey looking health club directly across the road. And a big gym about 1km from the Unit. It's called Fit Fast. It has a pool. I go there. Intermittently.
First off, whoever is looking to take this room must be willing to sign onto the lease. The lease is currently set to end on the 29th of January, and it looks like the landlord would be more than happy keep it going month to month afterwards if so desired. The landlord and property manager are probably the nicest I've ever met, and are extremely prompt with repairs (work orders sent within the day). The house is very spacious, in a really nice neighbourhood within walking distance to a ton of amazing restaurants and cafes. It was recently repainted and floors polished so everything is also looking quite nice. The house features a large kitchen with a dishwasher and gas stove-top. The living room has a ton of natural light coming in, an air-conditioning unit and a gas fireplace. There is also a spare room out back with a washing machine (but no dryer). The backyard is huge, with a nice courtyard area perfect for BBQs, and another nice grassy section with some trees. The room itself is huge (4.5m by 3.5m) with gigantic built-in wardrobes, an AC unit and wooden floorboards. Happy to leave my double bed in the room if desired.

Hello there! This is a 2 storey, 3 bedroom house in Leichhardht, only 5 min walk to the light rail, and 10 min walk to the bus stop that takes you all the way to the city for those who work in the CBD. Uber's only 10-15 min for those late nights on the weekend, and that's just the beginning! First of all, everything, and i mean EVERYTHING except your bedroom furniture is already in place in the house. A super comfy couch, TV, all the kitchen equipment you can think of (of course everything has to be taken care of), bbq pit, outdoor dining area, backyard all white goods. You'll be given a cupboard space in the kitchen, and or course we'll share the fridge space as well although its almost always never empty of food. Secondly, you'll have your own room upstairs, but there isn't a built in wardrobe so you'd have to get your own chest drawer and/or other arrangements. there is a balcony connected to the room so plenty of sunlight. You'll be sharing the bathroom with the second housemate, abigail, who is a lovely girl! There's lots of parking on street if you have a car/bike, there is no foxtel there's unlimited iinet adsl 2+. The rent covers all bills, but a disclaimer right here that if electricity bills get too sky high during winter, there will be an add on to cover costs. The rent also covers a forthnightly cleaning lady services, but you still have to do your own dishes and keep the common area clean!

Bus stops are infront of the building and it takes 15-20 minutes to Town Hall, going to the city or coming from the city any day and time of the week is not a problem. I am going to be away from the 28th August until the 15th of September and I am looking for a super easy-going erson to take my SINGLE ROOM while I am away. (Dates can be negotiable!) Housemates are really nice, but since everybody works in completely crazy hours it is hard to get to see the other 2 who you will be living with. They are really easy-going and super quiet! Even thought the house has a really good sized courtyard and a really nice swimming pool, it is NOT a party house, so please keep the noise down if you decide bringing a friend home. But let's get to the house features: There are 3 bedroom - all single rooms -, 1 bathroom - shared between we 3 -, and another toilet in the laundry area. The kitchen has everything you will need during your stay. And the dining room has a really nice dinning table. Living room has super comfy couches and a tv. If you love sports, you can do a bit of boxing over there or a really nice run by the bays - we live few meter from 2 bays. Price is $250 a week and we can negotiate bond, as I just need to make sure you wont break anything. Busses are super close - one in the corner and two other bus stops 5 and 10min walking. I take 20min to get to Town Hall.
