This area is mostly quiet which means a great place to relax. The unit itself is in good form with floorbaords throughout with modern kitchen and vintage bathroom. It is a cosy place not a large unit. People have felt a sense of warmth when they come round stepping into a world where old meets new. I made the place rustic and artistic (if that's what you like in a home). Down the road you will find fine dining, an IGA, gym, 2 nice parks. And more. For transport there is Summer Hills train station 10~15min walk. Even further down the road there is a tram that gets you to the city every 15 min. Buses are just round the corner and come often depending where you're going. I've been here for 7 years now and love the area. It's safe and I have neighbours who are willing to help out if need being.
From the 28th of July, I have available a nice, full-of-light room in a spacious apartment located in Summer Hill. A lovely suburb with the best of the Inner West: a nice community feel, many local shops, but not so much as to be in the middle of the noise. The flat is close to the main street where all the local shops are, 5 min walk to the train station (2mins if you run). While living here all that you need is close: 24-hour gym, great coffee shops, Italian, Thai, Indian and Vietnamese restaurants, two local pubs with great music, hair studios, and IGA. However, if you prefer Aldi, Coles or Woolies, they are all at Ashfield Mall (15 min walk or just one stop away if you go by train) The flat is fully furnished (except for your room, but shown in photos as my previous flatmate had it for you to have an idea of space); it has 1 parking space in the back of the building, which would be yours to use.
We have a spacious 3.7m x 4.2m room with high ceilings available in our 4 bedroom house, which is currently home to two guys, a girl and two cats. Room is currently furnished with a queen bed and a few cupboards, but you can bring your own if preferred. The house is located a 2 minute walk from Summer Hill station as well as shops, cafes, IGA, doctors, busses etc. We're also lucky enough to have a big backyard.
Just got the lease on a 3 bedroom apartment in Summer Hill and getting the keys on Monday (15/07). Looking for a third person to fill the room! The rooms are a nice decent size and have ceiling fans and remote control lights. The apartment is floorboards except for the bedrooms which are carpeted. We have a private courtyard/deck area accessed through the living room and through the back. The bathroom has a shower and bath. We also have a cute little kitchen booth to eat at in the kitchen. The unit is located approx 7 mins from Summer Hill train station (4 minutes if speed walk because you need to catch a train or you'll be late for work). 2 mins from buses going to Ashfield, Burwood, Strathfield and across the road the same buses go to Annandale, UTS, USYD, Railway Square. 5 mins walk from Ashfield Park and other smaller parks. 10 mins walk from the closest Light Rail station. I have a netflix account (well I use my girlfriend's brother's girlfriend's friend's one) that you're welcome to use on the tv.

An unfurnished room is available in a spacious, air-conditioned new apartment. It includes a large, separate bathroom which has an amazing amount of storage space and a luxe showerhead. The room has a built in wardrobe and is carpeted. It easily fits a double/queen bed, desk, nightstand and chest of drawers or bookshelves, as the photos demonstrate! The apartment is located in a brand new, secure building with a lift. All of the neighbours so far have been very friendly and it's a great suburb with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. It is an extremely convenient location, particularly for anyone working towards the city and using public transport for work. We're opposite the lightrail (but it is not at all noisy!) and a 5-10 minute walk to Lewisham and Summer Hill train stations. A cleaner comes once a fortnight to do the common areas such as kitchen, living room and dining room, as well as both bathrooms and bedrooms. The rest of the flat is fully furnished including fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, steamer, iron, ironing board, as well as good quality kitchenware, living and dining furniture. There is central air-conditioning, gas cooking, and wooden floorboards in the common spaces. We have FTTP NBN in our building (included in the rent). Hi! My housemate is moving on to his uni campus for the ease of work/study/life balance and I am looking for someone to share an occasional wine or cuppa with, some laughs and general chit chat as we go about our daily lives. As like most, life is busy with work and the things I love so home is a sanctuary for me, I would like to share with a like-minded person. The apartment is situated on a large block and is one of only two and is on the top floor, allowing for a lot of natural light. My favorite view is from the kitchen window in the morning looking through a magnificent gum tree with the city skyline in the distance. There is a secure communal backyard with a great entertaining area and is a great place for those who have fur babies, there is currently Maci, who is an utterly adorable little doggo, and belongs to the downstairs neighbours (who are wonderful people), so any doggos that may come and live here need to be well socialised. I can vouch that they would be well loved, and patted! Summer Hill has access to a range of public transport with all well within walking distance, the bus goes past the apartment, the train station isn't quite a 10min walk and the lightrail (Lewisham West) would be roughly 15mins, all dependant on walking tempo:-). Then you also have the ease of access to IGA and the local gym, again not a 10min walk and a couple of great little wine bars, various eateries and great cafes for the morning pick-me-up coffee. And for yoga lovers, the BEST studio is only a 1.1km walk away. It's ease of access to the city, 20mins by train, less to the hubs of Newtown/Redfern and one stop to the dumpling delights of Ashfield which make Summer Hill a really livable and accessible suburb that has a great sense of community that I felt ever since I moved here.

It is conveniently located 5min walk from Summer Hill station and shops, including IGA, cafes, gyms etc. You will share the lovely unit with me. The unit itself is fully furnished. The kitchen is furnished with oven, microwave, fridge etc. The bathroom has a washing machine, a separate shower. Also, the living room is a bit large and comfy with a sofa and a dinner table. I am sure that You can easily move in Your room is spacious with tall built-ins. There is a queen size bed with very comfortable mattress. Most important thing is your room gets ample sunshine. The room limited for not more than 2 people(We could have some discussion about this part. : )
