The house is modern and on top of a lovely coffee shop. Only built last year. We are a 3 minute drive from Woolworths, Kmart and Aldi and a 7 minute drive from the beach. We are walking distance from carrington which is an amazing place to walk along the water with coffee shops and walking tracks. We are also 10 minutes from the beach. The lease runs out on February 12th however there is the option to renew it.
Lovely three bedroom house on a quiet street, sharing with only one other. Close to Wickham Station, Beaumont St, cafes and bars, and Wickham waterfront. Its a 25 minute walk to Honeysuckle restaurants. It’s a big house on a huge block, super rare considering it’s so close to everything! HUGE bedrooms, all with built-in wardrobes. The house is completely furnished (apart from a working telly which will probably be organised by the time you move in). The spare bedroom is a blank canvas for you to fill with your lovely things. There is a third bedroom we can share as a study, second bedroom or chill out space. So much storage space it’s not funny. Not a bad spot! Right on the uni to city bike track, minutes from the main hubs of newy (honeysuckle, Hunter st, Darby St, Beaumont st). A couple minutes walk from Newcastle interchange and Hamilton station. Only a couple min drive to beaches too! Also right across from Throsby creek and source cafe (perfect for hungover b+e feasts). Has air-con downstairs, three toilets, extra storage space available in garage, fully furnished so you’re not expected to provide any furniture unless you’d like to. I’m also happy to share my Netflix login. I enjoy a fairly clean house, so if you know your way around some cleaning equipment I’m sure we’ll get along just fine :)

The house itself is a six bedroom, three bathroom federation style house that is fully restored in Federation period style. It's handy to shops, public transport, pool, pubs, cycleways and being close to both the city and uni campuses it's a great place to live. Four weeks bond is payable prior to moving in as well as 100 points of ID and your UoN student number. We rarely have any problems filling the rooms and give the tenants ownership of the place which usually includes the students themselves interviewing all the potential housemates to see who would be the best fit in the case of a vacancy at the end of the year. Strictly no smokers. No pets. No drugs. CLEANLINESS!!! A cleaner will come once a week to clean all the common areas. She is not there to clean up after you in any way. I can’t stress this enough. If you like to cook and leave a mess, eat and not clean up in a timely manner afterwards this isn’t the property for you. If you would like the cleaner to clean your room you will have to negotiate this directly with her. The house is located within a short walking distance to a shopping centre and only 200 metres to bus stops that provide transport to both the university and the city every 15 minutes. There is a cycleway at the end of the street that follows the waterfront into the heart of the city. Travel to and from either the City (4km) or Callaghan campus (3. 8km) by bicycle in around 15 minutes.
