Hi there! This apartment is an awesome 2 storey, 2 bedroom apartment with one bathroom. It's is on the cusp of Brunswick West, Parkville and Brunswick, which means that it's in a quiet neighbourhood, 100m away from Royal Park and only a 5 minute walk to Sydney Road. The apartment is also on a bus line and a tram line (both of which are LITERALLY just outside the door) and is only another 5 minute walk from Royal Park train station. The 55 tram only takes 15-20 minutes to get into the Melbourne CBD. The apartment itself is very new and spacious, so that means you can have a lot of room to yourself if you'd like, but on the flip side, you can also invite friends over. In terms of furnishing, the entire house is furnished except for your room, so the only bit of furniture you will need is what you'd like to have in your room. Both rooms are air conditioned and have BIRs so storage shouldn't be a problem! One thing to note is that I do have cats. They are mainly pretty lazy and welcoming of strangers, but if you do have a cat allergy, this is probably not the place for you.

This apartment is a three minute walk from Kensington Railway Station and Macauley Road shops. In the other direction, it's a seven minute walk to the 57 tram line, the local Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse and Thirsty Camel (priorities)! We're on the top floor of a small block of only nine apartments, so this is definitely not a party house. The room itself has built in robes, and a private balcony. Our bathroom has a shower over the bath, and separate toilet. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric stove top and separate fan oven. The lounge room has huge windows and the space is really airy and light. We have unlimited monthly internet with Dodo that works out to $30/month each. We also pay quarterly water and monthly electricity, none of which are included in the rent. There are car spaces under the building for resident use only, and cars can be parked on the street out the front with a permit available from the local council for something crazy cheap like $20 a year I think if you have guests. I'm pretty flexible about selling some of my furniture that can remain in the room if you need it, ie desk/shelf unit.
