We enjoy being social as a household such as having dinners or drinks together because we do not own a T.V but we like it that way, generally are all pretty busy during the week so might only see each other in passing at times. We are not a regular party house although we do enjoy cracking a tin and having a glass of wine while battling the jenga blocks. The house is on a neat street less than a 5min drive from the city or a 10 minute bike ride. Tram stop 2 is less than 2 minutes walk away. The house is a great little heritage listed cottage a short walk from the markets, in the south-west corner of the city. It has two living areas and a nice little courtyard. Like most old houses, it has its quirks, but I love it. There is air-conditioning, but mainly for the main living area. There is only street parking, but we are able to apply for car permits so we don't get fines. We share the internet with the neighbours to minimise expenses ($15 each a month). Other than that, we would just need to split the cost of electricity bills. The street is really nice - there are lots of cats and it even has its own facebook page.
