The house is furnished except for the available bedrooms, but I could possibly arrange some second hand furniture if need be. it has a huge backyard to sit and relax in. I don't expect you to contribute to any gardening as I do that all myself, so if you are worried about maintenance you dont need to be! The larger bedroom has built in wardrobes and a dresser and would easily fit a queen or king bed, and the smaller room doesn't have built ins and you could fit a single or double bed in there, and I could arrange cupboards or a dresser if needed. Hi there! We have a lovely house in Findon on a quiet street. The house itself is modern, spacious, with a large kitchen and garden. The property is well maintained and clean, with lots of privacy. The room is large, with air conditioning, windows, blinds, and is suitable for a double bed. We are about 600m away from the Findon shopping centre, which has a Coles, Foodlands, greengrocers, library and other outlets. There is also a bus stop to the CBD which is a two minute walk from the house. Heading West, the beach is only a seven minute drive away! Appliances such as a washing machine, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, fridge, etc are supplied. There is air conditioning throughout the house and in the rooms. Bills are paid quarterly and shared between four people, adding to about $20/week. Rent is paid weekly, and the bond is $675 (not 4 weeks as mentioned above). Furniture is provided in the living areas, but the room is unfurnished. I am moving out, and would be willing to sell my wardrobe and bed at low cost :) The bathroom is shared with two girls who are very hygienic. I have a spare bedroom in this 3 bedroom place, but one of the bedrooms is a spare room for visitors. I think it's a pretty cool place. Located on a quiet street halfway between the city and Glenelg beach (approx. 6km each way). Room is 3.3m x 3.7m. Somewhat close to local shops and amenities (1.2km walk according to Google). There's also a good Chinese takeaway shop down the road, which is important for any decent place to live. Huge backyard with so much room for activities, I don't even know what to do with it all. Past activities have included: inflatable pool, backyard cricket, backyard rugby tournament, hammocks and beer pong just so you get the idea. Possibilities are pretty much limitless. There is another resident in the backyard that goes by the name of Stella. She doesn't pay rent, but she loves bones and she has her own version of "fetch" where she finds the ball, but doesn't give it back. She's a 1.5 year old Labrador. House itself is not bad either.
