The two greatest things about living in this sharehouse are chickens and location! Goodwood road main strip is a mere five minutes walk. Cafes, supermarkets, farmers markets and public transport (tram, bus, train) are all easily accessible, allowing for an easy lifestyle commuting to the city and surrounding suburbs. The house itself is deceptively large, making for a comfortable five person share. Outside we have a reasonable veggie patch, a large shed and the chickens, who supply a constant stream of fresh eggs. The kitchen is really easy to use and clean ,with plenty of bench space for everyone. We also have a massive fridge! The house is in Millswood (next suburb to Goodwood) on a quiet and leafy street, usually we rent our rooms to female overseas students and employees. One single bed fully furnished room is available now. The room is cozy and comfortable for a single person. The room is at the front and faces north so the light is good. House mates buy and cook their own food and do their own laundry and cleaning, and a washing machine is provided. Wi-fi and some consumables are included in the rent. Hey everyone, I'm leaving a really nice room in our Unley flat share in the middle of December. Its a nice light carpet room in a large old house. Everything furnished! The atmosphere is pretty cosy and inviting, the house has a big living area and kitchen - and even a pool table! There are lots of nice spots to sit, too, wich also makes it a great place to have friends over or just hang out together with the flat. So far we've been living here with girls only, but as we're mostly international students, in December there will some change going on - so everybody is welcome! Unley is a beautiful calm and safe area close to the city. You can either walk five mins to Unley Road and catch the 190 to the city, or walk to King Williams and get the 200. Both roads are very close and have cute shops, cafes and pubs on them. The next tram stop (Greenhill Rd) to Glenelg and the city is a 10-15 mins walk away and to walk into the city through the park takes about half an hour. Unley Shopping Centre with Woolworths and Coles is in walking distance, too (10 mins)!
