My place is a 3 bedroom townhouse with plenty of living space in Kilkenny, Adelaide. It is completely furnished with timber decor and lots of lovely succulents! The place is tiled so its easy to keep clean + we have a comfy lounge area and a dining area for having a few friends around for coffee or tea. My house is a 10–15 minute train ride straight into the city and there are many buses that run from the main shopping centre. If you prefer to drive, there's plenty of on-street parking as our street is on a dead-end. It's a 10 minute drive to North Adelaide and 15 minute drive into the city! The best thing about living here is that we are very close to the beach, down the road from a servo with a subway, and just a 5 minute walk to the Grand Junction road buses or a 20 minute walk to Alberton train station. Also a 5 minute drive out from Port Adelaide which has a kmart, a coles, a reject shop, a dominos pizza. UberEATS also accesses this area. The house itself is double brick, pretty old looking, but is definitely a good house. Every room has air-conditioning, we have unlimited internet with iinet, and everyone has a lock on their door with their own key. At the house, we have individual chores lists that one must complete. The house is divided into sections and each person cleans their section, but that doesn't mean you clean up after someone else. Outside of that, you must clean up after yourself. In short, just be a tidy person and don't leave bandaids on the bathroom sink. We currently just got a brand new kitchen, we have a bunch of bench space, lots of storage in the kitchen, and brand new oven. That isn't the only renovation that is happening. The backyard will be getting renovated by the landlord and the current tenants and this will inconvenience having a dog here.
