We are going to have one room available to rent at some point in NOVEMBER-DECEMBER (official date has not been finalised yet). We are looking for someone to stay on with us for at least 12 months. Polished floorboards throughout the whole house. Ducted floor heating in every room, and a wall A/C in the kitchen/living area. All communal areas are furnished, but if you’ve got some kitchenware, a TV to spare, and a washing machine, we’re happy to accommodate. The bedroom is well sized and has a built-in wardrobe. Though there’s only one bathroom, there are 2 toilets in the house (one being a separate loo attached to the laundry). We also have a pretty nice garden with plenty of places to sit n chill or entertain your mates in the backyard as well as the front. Location-wise, the house is situated on Blackburn Road. We have the 703 bus stop right on our doorstep which takes you to Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre and to Blackburn Train Station. In the other direction, the bus takes you up to Burwood Hwy to Burwood One Shopping Centre (24 Hour Coles and Kmart, yeah boy!!) and the 75 Tram route (only a few stops away from Deakin Uni, and about an hour trip into the city). There are 2 off-street carparks available, with room on the street for other cars. Bills and rent are split equally. We have cable internet which works out to be $15 p/m. Utilities (Electricity/Water/Gas) have been roughly around $75 all up per month when split with 4 people. Rent is paid monthly at $543.25 each. Bond is the $543.25. What we are looking for in a roommate: someone who is clean, open and honest. Passive-aggressiveness is a drain and just not tolerated.
