We're a busy young family, looking for someone able to provide enriching childcare 2 days a week in exchange for room and board. This would be perfect for students with an interest in early childhood, psychology, etc. You will bring fun auntie vibes. Perfect for older sister/cousin/auntie.

Great opportunity to work from home, have some study time during naps and have family style accommodation in 2026.

Your bedroom is furnished and move in ready, with room for you to bring your own style.

The House:

Our house is fully furnished including all kitchen essentials, but with plenty of storage for any contributions or favourite items you might want to bring!

The house is well located in a green, leafy suburb, and only a 2 minute walk to all the essentials: woolies, pharmacy, post office, and a range of cafes and take aways! It is also close to Deakin uni, Box Hill (Hospital, Tafe, etc), and various public transport options.

The Room
• Large private room with built in closet, large windows with sunny garden views, and separate entrance off laundry
• Room furnished with a double bed. We can store this if you have your own!
• Part of the house while having some space.

You bring...
• Experience with young children, auntie or big sister/cousin vibes
• Able to obtain WWCC
• Able to provide enriching childcare two days a week (with induction and support)
• May be open to additional childcare at agreed time and rate (additional day some weeks, or occasional evening, as suits us both.)
• Ideally a student, with area of study relevant
• Women and/or Queer folk

The Family:

We are a busy queer family, with a young child (under 1).
With patents busy schedules we are looking for someone who can provide 2 days a week enriching childcare.
This would usually be while a parent is working from home in the house and available for support.

We have family meals most nights and you would be welcome to join us, or to prefer to do your own thing.

We keep things clean and tidy, and expect the same.
