I'm a Kiwi, relocated fully to Darwin from Melbourne in July after coming and going for 6 months.

I'm a self employed and lease a clinic space where I spend a lot of my time, and I also travel out of state and country reasonably often as my FIFO partner has commitments elsewhere.

I would love to live in a place where I could cook, relax, and share occasional conversation with (ideally) other mature (and interesting) people. Prone to being more arty than bogan.

I've owned my own homes for more than half my life so know how to look after one, and I love to know someone is coming or going to say either a quick hello or share a meal on occasion. I'm apparently 'mature' having passed the half century mark, am environmentally aware, socially responsible, culturally open, fairly well travelled, reasonably educated, and like to bring flowers into the house.

I don't smoke and prefer not to live with people who do so inside. I also choose not to spend time around heavy drinkers.

I have a very well socialised parrot. She likes to talk, sing, chatter, and sometimes enters barking competitions with local dogs. She 'worked' with me in Melbourne and will do so again here as required. She does have a cage, is toilet trained, and stimulated enough to not eat the house. She stays elsewhere when I am away.
