Libby and Alex

Libby and Alex here! We’re looking for a room in the Torquay/Jan Juc area to rent for the Summer and/or potentially through November 2024. We are a super respectful couple in our mid-late 20’s that loves spending time at the beach but also having down time at home. We’re not looking for a party house but love having a wine (or two) and a cook-up at home on the occasion. We have both lived in plenty of shared accommodation and appreciate a nice tidy space to come home to at the end of the day. We would be super grateful for a friendly and open space that we can all call home.

A bit about ourselves:

Libby (27) - Originally from Sydney, I’ve been living on the Surf Coast for the past 3 years. I currently work at Go Ride A Wave and Jan Juc pub however I work up at Hotham June-September. I love to surf, snowboard, climb, snorkel, or just generally anything outdoors. I love a bit of arts and crafts and am happy to contribute to plant hangers, upcycling furniture, or fixing up old clothes. I’m vego (will sometimes eat seafood) and love contributing to meals together at home if we are all around for dinner. When I’m at home I’m super easy-going, never in a rush and always appreciate a calm environment to hang around.

Alex (25) - Originally from Tasmania, I've been living between Melbourne and Mt Hotham for the last few years, working in marketing/media at the ski resorts. I also love spending my time outdoors swimming, hiking, running, surfing and snowboarding. I love pets, so if you have a dog I promise that I'll walk it and treat it as if it were my own child.
