Julia and Arjay

We are an easygoing couple moving from Yea. We are currently in a transitional period of looking for somewhere to live and looking for work in a new location - but with a reliable income to comfortably afford rent during the process.

Arjay is a longtime chef, and Julia has been a barista - but unfortunately hasn’t worked for a while due to longterm illness. But with recovery and supports - she is trying to get back into work and/or study in the very near future.

We are a little silly, and can be a little shy - but we are respectful and will always pay rent and bills on time. We promise to respect your home and boundaries. We are happy to take feedback, compromise when necessary, and talk things out. Mostly we would stay in our own bubble, but happy to have friendly chats as well.

We are trying to find our own place - but in the meantime we would appreciate a flexible short term stay (likely from as short as 2 weeks to 2 months - we aren’t fully sure how long it’ll take). We would keep you updated consistently, and would try our very best to give plenty of notice before we move out.

We love spending time appreciating nature and art, creating our own gentle arts & crafts, taking care of our plants, some light gardening, and enjoy some experimental cooking and baking (mostly vegetarian). We also enjoy relaxed TV time, when not going out creating new experiences.
