Hey I'm James from the UK. I'll be landing in Melbourne on the 12th of December I am available to move into a room immediately. I'm a hairdresser and I enjoy being around other people, but I'm not a party animal, I'm clean, tidy - you don't have to worry about mess, noise or anything else. If you would like to ask me anything just message me.
I'm 26 years old, have a bachelor degree in Art and Media Management but I'm aspiring a career in coaching crossfit and functional fitness. I live an active life(running, speedrope, gymnastics rings). So while I'm here I want to fully experience Melbourne. I still don't have a job but I'm getting my white card and RSA to kickstart my life over here(gotta start somewhere😉). I have a lot of experience in hospitality as an bartender and I am willing to do every kind of job, except deskjobs(boring and not made for it). I'm open-minded, relax, adventerous and a good with people. What I'll bring to the house: good conversations, good vibes and some good meal prepping skills. I've partied a lot back home(Amsterdam), but my priorities now shifted.
Hey guys, I am looking for a room ( it's fine without bed, I got one ). Please don't too far to La trobe university cause I study in there and I don't have car. I'm friendly to pets ( except spider or snake ). I also hope that you are LGBT friendly. I'm from China. I have 4 years share house experience in Melbourne. 🤓I'm a easy going man and not a party animal. I don't drug or smoke. I always keep my room clean or tidy. Btw, I'm good on cooking. Sometimes I will keep quiet stay in my room or hang out with friends. I'd like to chat with new mate and learn new culture or language from them :) I like playing PC game or Xbox, or watching movie while I rest at home. I hope we can be good friend. I respect my roommate and I know how to keep privacy. Most important thing is, I pay rent on time. Please checking my moving time carefully, I can go a inspection but I can't move immediately. If you want to know more or have any questions feel free to ask. Don't hesitant and text me. Much appreciated for your reading. Kind regards, Alex
Hey! I'm Doug, I’ve just moved from Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. A tad about myself I work on Gertrude I'm an actor and an affable, young, clean, modern day gentleman. I’m honest, generous and happy to go with the flow. I’m a massive chiller, I like to be tidy and clean and I’m basically just a normal boy next door type of a guy. Don't want to live with more than 3 other people and would prefer 1 or 2. Have shared housed a lot and consider myself a well groomed flatmate.
HI! We are two housemates currently living in a student hostel but are now looking for two separate rooms in a more permanent and homely place. Preferably just outside the city, with independent housemates that also enjoy the occasional communal dinner, good movie, night out or just a casual chat over a glass of wine. Hi i'm Lynn. I'm beginning my third year of architecture next year, I'm really passionate about it and probably talk about it a little too much... I'm originally from the Netherlands and speak Dutch fluently, but I grew up in Australia. In my free time I enjoy; drawing and other artistic pursuits, exploring new bars (and the occasional club) with friends, interesting conversations, drinking coffee at a nice cafes and reading a good book in the botanical gardens. I'm vegetarian and enjoy baking when i have the time. I also love to travel, I’ve seen a lot of Europe and have always wanted to go to South America. Hey, I'm Odessa. I'm about to start my second year of uni, studying visual arts at RMIT. I also work part time for COM doing school crossing supervision/admin work...If you don't know what that is, it's a lollie pop lady haha weird job for an 19 year old I know. I also enjoy playing the ukulele and singing but dw I won't keep anyone awake. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast so I love sun baking and going to the beach when I can.
I'm an international student, currently studying a master degree in professional accounting. I spent most of my time studying at home or the library. I'm working a part time position in audit and i'm about to start studying to get my vic drivers license, even though i can drive with my Ecuadorian driver's license. I'm a calm person and the only thing really important for me is respect, i know what sharing a house involves meaning that you need to respect other people space and time i don't like people i share with bringing more people over for drinks during week days until late night cause i need to sleep to get up early for work and uni. Maybe a friday or saturday it's fine. I'm more a movie at home type of person or go to the beach on weekends and do some sightseeing around Melbourne. I love to live in a clean tidy environment wich means i leave the kitchen and commons spaces clean and i expect to find it the same way. So basically respect is the most important. If i find the right place i will stay one year at least or more.
I'm Josefa, I'm 27, originally from Peumo, Chile. I'm an easygoing, honest, enthusiastic, observant, outgoing, cheerful, curiously and creative person. I like to listen, share and learn about life. I also like to watch movies, and of course.. chillin everyday, a cup of tea or a good smoothie. I really enjoy nature, walking outdoor, climbing, swimming, meet new people, have a good conversations, and especially to laugh a lot. Also I practice Yoga and meditation. I'm an animal lover, I cook sometimes, Im not a professional chef but I always said "A meal made with love, taste better" ❤ I consider myself an empathic person so I like to take care and make other people feel happy. Also and Im very respectfull about each others ones's space and time. I came to Australia to learn english and have a good time (other languages are welcome too) Have a good day!
I'm down to earth, very open-minded, tidy and easily sociable. I have lived with others since I moved out of home 4 years ago so I have some experience in living with friends and people I hadn't met prior. I happily keep combined/communal areas clean and understand that personal space is a must. I am all up for the combined dinner and drink with the household every now and then as well though. I am not looking to live in a party house, just a place that I can call home and feel comfortable in. The biggest place I've lived is Geelong and I am to start a new job as a Registered Nurse (Grad) at St Vincent's Hospital, Fitzroy. I'm very much looking forward to soaking up some of the "Melbourne lifestyle" while I'm young and able to do so. Any info/direction from new housemates would be greatly appreciated. It would be ideal that my new housemates were like-minded people that held similar values of respect, personal space and sociability as myself. I have one cat, Peppa, who is 9 years old and just as a cat is, friendly, cute meow on her and sleeps a lot. She is 100% indoors, and I would need to feel confident that the people I live with would ensure she didn't get out of a forgotten window or open door - Melbourne traffic wouldn't be kind to her I don't think. NOTE: Although I want her with me and she's so low maintenance, alternative arrangements have been made for her to live in if I am unable to have her in my accommodation. Also I have a little hatchback that I would like an off-street park for (if possible) to keep it safe while driving it minimally. Looking to move preferably early-mid January 2017 as I start my new job on the 23rd of January - Willing to move earlier if need be.
I'm a easy going and an ordinary person loving food and travel. I would like a place where I can find peace but interesting at times. I'm looking for a place near park or something similar. I enjoy socialising and mingle but also respect individual's lifestyle and privacy.
Hi, I'm Fin. I'm looking for somewhere to live while I study at RMIT. I am a clean and tidy person, I love to attend social events, but also like my privacy as well. To be short, I am all about good vibes and good times.
Hey I'm Ali, I'm from the UK and i've been living and working in London for the past couple of years. I've just touched down in Melbourne and I'm on a working holiday but looking to get settled as quickly as possible. I'm an easy going, sociable guy who's up for a laugh and after one week here I'm loving the brunch, gin and the sun vibe this city has going on... keen to meet some new likeminded people :) Peace.
Hello! Looking to join a sharehouse/flat ASAP with my floofy friend, John. Looking for somewhere Carlton North/Brunswick East area and would like it to be a house where everyone can feel comfortable and hang out together as well as have their own lives and adventures. Would prefer to live with people of a similar age but this isn't compulsory. A BIT ABOUT ME I am 25 and a creative type with an interest in science/technology. I play video games and am mostly vegetarian but cannot sustain due to health reasons. LGBT+friendly, sometimes introverted but love company. I can talk forever about pretty much anything, any philosophical topics on your mind will not go undiscussed! I'm finishing up my photography degree next year and at the moment about to start volunteering for Lort Smith.
Hi! I'm looking for a room to share with my partner Nic. I'm an artist and writer, I just finished studying at the VCA art school and am now working as a freelance artist. Nic is also an artist and performer, currently studying Creative Arts at La Trobe. We love meeting new people, but are overall mellow and easy-going, and importantly reliable. We are able to move in straight away.

Hi :) I am Maya mid 20's, Brazilian and my boyfriend is Viv early 30's, Australian. We are both responsible, happy, respectful and easy going. Both non smokers and are very clean people used to live in shared houses. We have recently returned to Melbourne after spending a couple of months in Brazil and have no fixed home and no concrete plans. We are currently looking for a place to live for a couple of months from February. We can be flexible, but at least 3 weeks would be nice. Camping, traveling, movies, video games, chilling or hanging out with friends is how we like spending our weekends. Also enjoy an occasional wine/beet afrer work or a few drinks on the weekend. We are both adaptable, responsible and we will still have our 9 to 5 jobs in Melbourne CBD and this is the reason we are looking for something as close as possible to the centre/ max 20min by train/tram. Feel free to msg here and let us know if you have any questions at all Cheers Maya&Viv

Hi there! I'm Nayanika, 22, from India. I'll be visiting Melbourne for my Research Training at Victoria University for 6 months from the 3rd week of March 2017. I'm looking for a place in CBD which is close to the Melbourne Central Station. I need flatmates who maintain cleanliness and hygiene. I'm kind, friendly, open-minded and an independent person. I respect people's privacy. I love travelling and exploring new places, meeting people from cross-cultural backgrounds. I'm also a foodie! and enjoy cooking. Music gets me high so I'd be fun to party with. I am easy-going and adjusting in new places would't be a problem. I am a tidy person so living around me won't be a nuisance. I'm quiet and I keep to myself most of the time but I wouldn't mind tagging along for a grub.
Hi. I'm Holly and I am a single part time student and full time worker...so you can see I am extremely busy..and usually tired..hehe.. but I love to be tidy and clean anyway. I am looking for a place where I can have my own space (private room) to sleep and study (when Im not at work), but I am also friendly and easygoing. Thanks:)

I'm looking for a place around Caulfield/Malvern East area or really anywhere along the Cranbourne/Pakenham line. Ideally walking distance to the train. I'm looking for either a room or a group of people who want to find a place in the same area. I'm hoping to move early January (before the 13th) I've lived in a lot of share houses and I like to think that I'm generally pretty easy to live with; clean, sociable, and pretty easy going. I love a good chat but am also very understanding of personal space. If you want to get in touch or have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

My son is temporarily living in laverton with my sister and being close to him through our rough patch means the world to us both so hoping to find somewhere asap thats close by .
I'm Blake - I'm 25 and work full time in the aviation industry. I've recently relocated back to Australia after a stint overseas, and then subsequently down to Melbourne from Sydney. I enjoy my quiet time at home, and I'm neat and tidy - looking for similarly minded housemates, though definitely ones up for a chat every now and then :)
Hi future flatmate, I'm a very easy-going, clean, responsible, uncomplicated and respectful person. I've lived in shared apartments before and have always gotten along with my flatmates really well. I'm usually at uni or working during the week and spend my free time and evenings with friends or doing flips and getting thrown in the air (I'm a competitive cheerleader ;)). When I'm home I like to relax, cook delicious meals and bake even more delicious treats. I enjoy spending time on my own but am also always up for a good chat. If you feel like we'd be a good fit shoot me a message :) Excited to hear from you. Angelika

I sing and play the ukelele which could be a good or a bad thing depending on you. But don't worry, I will try and practice when you are out of the house. Im active, independent, and social. I won't be throwing raging parties, but do love to socialise. I'm a kind, generous and good-hearted person. I've just come back from living in London for four years. Hello! I am moving from the Gold Coast at the end of January to study Environmental Science and am in search of a room to rent… I am pretty easy going, love to socialise and have a chat, but also like having my own space and am mindful of privacy. In my spare time I love to grab a couple of drinks, go for coffee, explore outside or hide away with a book (or Netflix, lets be real here). Ideally would love to find a place filled with happy like-minded people. As well as studying I will be working part time so being on time with rent is never a problemo. Please contact me if you have something available or would be interested in renting a place together and we can go and grab a drink to get better acquainted!!! :~)

I like to chill out with my friends and always ready to meet new people. I have been in Melbourne for over 1 year, where I am currently studying at University of Melbourne, doing Engineering and Business. I like to go to gym, couple of times per week, reading books, socializing, visiting restaurants, and enjoying generally Melbourne lifestyle, whenever I find time for that. My friends describe me as very friendly person, open minded, and always active. I like to travel, I lived in four different countries so far: Serbia, Italy, The Netherlands and right now Australia. I like to explore new places where I haven't been before, right now I am trying to explore Australia as much as I can, so during my semester brake I will be visiting some places around Sydney. Will be back from the trip on 3rd of January and my current lease is ending on 29th of December. I am looking for someone who is either working or a student, female or male, don't care that much for that, as long everyone has its own responsibilities, is chill out, and is ready to socialize with its flat mate :). Balance is always important :) glad to meet you guys.
I have just moved from London where I lived for the past 6 years, swapping my banking career to pursue studies in the new field for me in Melbourne. I will be busy between the studies and part time job, but look forward to social life Melbourne has to offer. I like yoga and healthy food. Friendly and easygoing (but a clean freak).
British Permanent Resident looking for person/people to start a flat share with from January. I work in residential education and will be at work upto three nights per week. When I am home, I am looking for flatmates who want to share house dinner or trips to the pub. I am looking for this to be a Home as opposed to being a place groups of people live. I like to keep a clean house, but am more then happy with the lived in vibe. For a potential flatmate, I am not bothered about Gender, Race, Age, Relationship Status etc as long as we get along, you are happy to pay half the rent and be on the tenancy then I think there will be no issues. I am looking for anywhere in the Northern Suburbs and am quite happy to wait for the right house.
Hi, i'm Clothilde, i'm french, I have just arrived on melbourne and I am looking for a nice roommate. I am jovial, respectful and organized. I like going out, dancing, meeting new people and cooking.
Hi, I'm Elle. I'm 25 and from England. I have been in Australia 10 months and I'm having such a good time! I'm out-going and fun. I like a night out but I also love film nights in with a take-away. I'm looking to make friends in this city as I could be looking to stay permanently. I'd like to live with someone who is up for socialising.
Hey everyone, I'm Nick and I'm a sociable, well traveled guy who loves nothing more than to meet new people and share stories of good times. I'm a travel agent , I work set shifts between 6.30am -11pm on any given day of the week. I love sports, "trying" to cook, dinners with friends (at home or out) and just socialising in general. I do enjoy the odd beer or wine but my bender days are most definitely over so if you live in a place that is the place for after parties, I'm not your guy. I'm a clean and tidy bloke that's looking for a nice place to call home.
Vik - I'm a fun and easy going person. I am sensitive to others' feelings and am understanding. I am a neat and tidy person. I love the performing arts and moving to Melbourne for my masters. I am going to be a teacher. Dion - He is a friendly and nice person who loves making others around him laugh. He is moving to Melbourne to be with me and to have a new beginning in life. We are looking for a one bedroom apartment in the city in a condo. We are responsible and will pay the rent and bills on time.
