I am a PhD student at La Trobe Uni, so looking to rent a room in a shared house near La Trobe, preferable within walking distance. I am a social person, tidy, clean after myself (and would expect the same of others) and very respectful of others. I would love to share a chat, meal and a beer, but I do not consider myself a party person nor I am looking for a party house.
Hello all. Luke here - single 43-year-old full-time worker. Live a quiet life, part-time studying to be a Social Worker takes up most of my leisure time and visiting my 12 year Niece and 8-year-old Nephew down on the Mornington Peninsula every other week takes up the rest. Very clean and tidy, friendly and respectful, enjoy cooking - and not bad at it either. Enjoy music of all genres, and am an avid reader. I mostly keep to myself, but not a hermit who hides in his room either. I have been renting a property privately in Bentleigh for the past 3 years and can supply excellent references, rent receipts and reference/confirmation of employment from my boss - if required.
Hiya! We're Nadine (25) and Sofia (26) a Scottish/English Colombian couple looking for a (furnished) room! We've been living in Melbourne since February after travelling around South East Asia for the past eleven months and are planning to stay here for another 6 months. We both work in hospitality, Sofia in a restaurant in Carlton and me in a bar in the CBD. We both love hiking and the outdoors, going to drag shows, and trying new craft beers during happy hour. I also love scuba diving and love a good cooking show while Sofia likes to occasionally convince me to go play basketball. We are both vegetarian so would love a meat-free house, but this is not essential. We're both very tidy and respectful, and although we sometimes love having our own time together we are very much looking forward to finding a sharehouse rather than just a room to rent. If you like the sound of us we'd love to hear from you! :)
I'm a laid back Southern Californian working here for six months. I love art, textiles, walking the city or hiking outside. I love dogs, and miss my little guy so much. I enjoy cooking at home, and always clean up after myself. I look forward to meeting new people in Melbourne and exploring the city.
Hey, My name is Jhanna, I work full time in the city as a consultant at an ICT company. I've just started my career coming from a background in hospitality. I'm a big fan of my activities like rock climbing, cycling, swimming, festivals, art and crafts, and the list goes on! I'm an early riser (but quiet about it I promise). I like my downtime but am also enjoy the occasional spontaneous. I'm looking housemates and perhaps friends to share the living experience, as well as maybe some home-cooked dinners!
Hi all, We're two mates looking for a third housemate to team up with. Both working full time, one graphic designer working for an organic tea company and an assistant property valuer. Weekly routines are consistent, happy sharing meals together during weekdays and drinks on the weekend. We both enjoy listening to music, getting outdoors, slothing on the couch/bedrooms watching Netflix and cooking. Hoping to find an interesting, respectful person who enjoys a chat and having a laugh. We'd like to live with someone who will be considerate and welcoming. We know the drill about personal space and housekeeping tidiness. We have all furnishings but are not fussed and can leave behind whatever isn't needed if you already have or would like to keep something. If interested we'd be keen to meet up for a chat :)
26, Male, Single, HR professional moving to Melbourne on secondment for 12 months from 1st of Sep, working on Collins St. -Did some sharehousing for about 9 months in 2018 with a 2 girls and a dude, so happy living with men or women -Standard 9-5 work week, usually pretty low key during the week. Might get to a gig if there's one on during the week, or pick up some social basketball. -I’m considerate, neat and respectful of boundaries. I like to make people laugh and I like to think I'm good company. -Was in a long-term live-in relationship for a while, so am responsible and financially literate regarding things such as rent, bills, living with other adults, housework, lease etc -I cook pretty much all my meals for the week, and eat out a bit on the weekends -Outside of work I enjoy watching the NBA, checking out cool new bars and eateries, and devouring burgers and going to concerts, playing social basketball and other fun stuff -Currently doing a diploma online and try to do that during the week outside of work -Guilty pleasures include Love Island UK, The Bachelor and 90s Eurodance. **Please don't message me about student accommodation or places with upwards of 4 people. I'd like to live somewhere for at least the next 12 months that I can call home, not just a place to sleep. I'm looking for other people in a similar stage in life as me - mid-late twenties, young professional, sociable. Cheers :)
*Looking to rent a furnished room for 3 months only!!* Hello, my name is Sinead. I’m moving to Melbourne from Ireland the second week of September. I’m a Primary school teacher so will be out of the house Monday to Friday until about 5pm. I’m easy going, tidy, respect other people and their space but also like to chill watching tv or catching up in the evening! My hobbies include traveling, reading, horse riding, playing with dogs, attempting to surf, yoga and people watching (not a real hobby but i do enjoy watching passers by while I’m at a window seat of a cafe!) I’m looking to move in with females or couples just because I’ve a boyfriend who is staying in Ireland and I wouldn’t like to live with single men (nor would he , lol) I don’t smoke and I don’t have any pets but have no problem if you have a dog or cat in the house I love animals! I will be going home to Ireland for Christmas so will be moving out the first half of December but am flexible with the date I move out can be early or mid December.
