I work full time as a mechanical engineer and I grew up in camberwell. The people I've lived with in the past have always had good things to say. I always make sure to clean up after myself. Always up for hanging out but definitely enjoy having some down time as well. I don't spend a whole heap of time at home as I'm either at work, the gym or some other type of outdoor activity.
Hi everyone! Couple from the uk, arrived in Melbourne in January. Plan to stay here for another 6 months maybe more! We are looking for a spacious double bedroom, preferrably with an en suite. We're both really friendly, love to socialise and meet new people! :)
Hi! I'm 31, from Sydney originally. Trained as a lawyer, I'm currently working f/t for the state government in social policy. I returned to oz in mid-2017 after four years in Europe (France and Switzerland) so naturally I'm pretty obsessed with cheese and French cinema. I have a raclette machine, not sure I need to write anything else... Other big loves include hanging out at all night bookstores, dancing in the dark, being a creep at dog parks, France, Debussy, Miyazaki and hummus. Having primarily lived in share houses for the past 11 years, I'm a considerate, respectful and responsible housemate. I'm always down for a good chat over a glass of wine or a weekly house dinner/pancake session but I can also appreciate that people need their space (i'm an introvert myself so often need recharge time but I'd prefer not to live with hermit-y types). I love cooking so would be great to live in a place with an oven. I'm pretty friendly and easy going and enjoy a sweet house party every now and then but mostly I'm looking for a chilled house with progressive people in their 30s :) If you have a doggo or speak french - defs get in touch, would love to live with you!
The way I describe myself on Tinder and on my CV is "playful eccentric extrovert". I just returned from living in China for a couple years, now I'm about to start work in the startup industry. I love learning and finding interesting things to occupy my brain (will be my new job for a while). I've lived with others since I was 11 years old (6 years of boarding school) so I understand how it goes. I like to keep the communal areas clean and socialise when housemates want to. I love to cook. I socialise on weekends and work on side projects.
Hey, I'm Emily. I'm level 25, working full-time, lived out of home 5 years. Gamer, clean and considerate, a bit shy, keep to myself most of the time. Enjoy the occasional night out, metal/rock music. Non smoker (but don't mind if you are), no drugs, happy to share a beer or wine. Leaving my kitties behind unfortunately (with my ex) but love all animals so I'm happy to help looking after others' pets. I do own a horse as well but he's being sold soon. Easy on whereabouts and length of stay as I'm trying to figure out some shit in my life. Aaand that's me in a nutshell. Hope to hear from you!
Max is an international student and part-time structural engineer, Lisa is a part-time assistant of accountant. We are friendly and pretty busy people, who normally spend their days at works or uni. Since we came to Melbourne we have been living in share houses so know all ins and outs.
Easy, friendly, clean, love a chat and generally just being awesome. We have been in sharehouses for a wee while now, and being late twenties we know whats up! Whats up: *Both work full time *Don't 'bring the party home' *Honest, reliable, thoughtful *Respect others' space *Nick has bad jokes *Clare has funny jokes
Hi my name is Jessica and am 26 years old. I have just graduated from my paramedicine degree and work part time at a blood bank. Love music and going to gigs, cooking, exercising and enjoying a drink every now and then. Am very clean and tidy. Generally pretty quite, very respectful of other peoples privacy but also enjoy a friendly chat. May only be requiring place for 6-12 months as I am awaiting allocation of placement by Ambulance Victoria. Am hoping to remain in the metropolitan region but may be assigned anywhere in the state.
I'm a relaxed, easy going guy who gets along with everyone and loves being around people. Here's a bit about myself: I've just finished off a course in nursing and want to be a mental health nurse in the future. I won't be going straight into mental health nursing. I want a break to relax and earn/save some money so I'll continue at my currently job, were I am already working 4-5 days a week part-time/fulltime. I enjoy socialising and having a beer with friends and new mates and also love a kickback watching some tv and having a laugh at the couples on married at first sight (this level of comedy can’t be scripted), Netflix is a close second. I'm also currently living in a share house
Hi there! Thanks for checking out my listing My name is Karoline, I’m a 25 y/o girl from Norway. I have lived in Melbourne for 4 years and I love it here. I am a full time retail manager. I manage a lingerie shop located in Highpoint Shopping centre. I just moved into a share house 2 weeks ago, unfortunately my landlord decided to move out and I'm not able to take on the lease on my own. I am also planning on going to Norway for a longer visit in May so I'm only looking for something short term for now. I am looking for something that's fairly close to work but also close(ish) to the city. I was hoping to stay below $200/week but can do $250/week with bills included. I am very easy going. I am always up for a chat, a coffee, a glass of wine but I am also very respectful of others privacy. I enjoy cooking, I don't eat meat (but wont judge if you do!) and I am transitioning into a vegan diet/lifestyle. I am trying to be very mindful of the environment and being as Eco-friendly as I can. I’m used to using minimal amount of hot water and electricity. Trying to keep waste to a minimum and recycling what I can. I don’t have a car but I love getting around on my push bike. On my free time I like exploring the community, road trips (so many places I haven't been yet!), go to markets, music gigs, socialise with friends, read, watch docos etc. I like going to the gym and I take pole dance classes 1-2 times a week. Please just send me a message if you have any questions at all. I am usually free after work (5.30pm) to check out houses! Thank you, Karoline
I am an Indonesian born Chinese and had worked and lived in Macau for a decade. I speak Bahasa, English and Chinese (mandarin&cantonese). Hi guys, My names Tash, I'm 20years old and a full time uni student! Currently looking to move into the east side with my main girl Nala (kitty). I'm fun, outgoing and loves to eat food but I also like to have my own time. I'm respectful, clean and would love to live with people I can have as friends as well!
Hi my name is Tee! I am a Zimbabwean lady moving back to Melbourne after a long stay away living in a small town interstate. I'm ready to come back to what I feel is my home city! I work online on my own business; love fitness; have travelled extensively + would still like to. I'm great to live with because I can cook up a storm for myself and others too as I'm also a Personal Fitness Chef. Don't worry it won't just be boring broccoli and a carrot on a plate ;)! I love movies; the beach and I smile alot! Look forward to hearing from you!!
Hey! I'm a 32yo female with a friendly and super well behaved dog, 2 permanent cats and a foster cat. I have all my own furniture and a car. I work as a professional audio and event technician. Given my work hours, you might not actually see me around much! Very down to earth and generally quiet, although I do love music. Cheers, Ali
Hi there :) Looking to move ASAP! We are Emma and John, young(ish) Scottish couple looking for a place to live for approximately 4 or 5 months (at least). The only reason we won't commit to longer than that at the moment is down to the fact that sponsorship might take a while and we might have to go off and do regional work at the end of July/start of August. We are here on a WHV, but aiming for permanent residency. John is a sound technician and I am currently looking for work, I have a human rights degree and experience in events. Ideally I'll be working in the not for profit sector. John usually works long days (sometimes 14 hours +) and occasionally is working away on a big on tours for about 3 weeks at a time! We are looking for either a studio, 1 bed, granny flat or flat/house share - we really aren't too fussy! Trying to save where we can so $350 all in would be max :) We are currently in Yarraville and are quite fond of the west! So it'd be a bonus if you were around that area. We are clean and neat, non-smokers and aren't big party animals. So whilst we are looking for somewhere fun and relaxed, we'd prefer not to live in a party house. We would also prefer something either furnished or part furnished, we do have a some savings so paying for some things won't be an issue, we'd just prefer to save where we can... (visas ain't cheap). Easy train access to the city is a must, the ability to decipher a Scottish accent is a bonus! :) Let us know if you need any more info. Thanks
Hi, we just moved down from Brisbane about a month ago so keen to meet new people and make friends! :D We're hoping to find a place that is friendly and welcoming but also allow us to have our own space. We quite often like to share laughs, movies, and meals with our housemates, but don't want a party house (outside of BBQ's and birthdays etc). We're respectful of other people's space but are looking for flat-mates rather than flat-humans. Homes are better than houses. I'm Karen (25) a full-time working professional as a risk engineering consultant for a culture change firm, likes to laugh, likes to eat, but also likes to chill in my room. Matt (31) studies environmental science and outdoor rec at Victoria University full-time, is very warm and happy, likes to get out and about, and likes to eat more. We love pets (but don't have any) and plants (we have 2) so if you have some that's awesome, but would prefer a place without kids (visits are definitely cool though). We're not in a rush to move into anywhere, so we will take our time to pick a great spot but if you think you're awesome and would love to hear more about us, just let me know!
A 23 yo male from Thailand. I just graduated from the University of Melbourne, majors being Media Communication and Psychology, and now I am working full-time in a cafe while trying to get a job in marketing. I enjoy socialising, exercising, cooking and dancing. I'm always down to chitchat and hang out because I value the relationships, potentially friendships, with the people I live with. I also enjoy some me-time and respect other's privacy.
Hi, I'm Saad, I'm 28, and I just got a job with a business consulting firm in Melbourne CBD. I'm moving in from Sydney (28th Feb) and looking find a new home ASAP. I work full-time, regular hours. I'm an easy going guy and get along with everyone. Not new to flat sharing, shared flats in the UK and Italy while studying there, had a great time. I like to socialise and go out on the weekends and catch up with some friends over dinner. On weekdays, I'm just happy with a good cup of coffee, a good book, nearby gym, and quick WiFi. Oh, and I also love adventure sports!
Hi, I'm Alex, an almost-graduated Games Designer with a passion for media, games, cooking and more! I'm moving out of my current place as my lease is up, and I'm looking for a place to call home for awhile. Since I do a lot of my work on the internet, I'm looking for a house with NBN or soon-to-have NBN. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible! I come with an assortment of furniture and tech. I'm incredibly queer (NB) & bubbly. I'm down with casual get togethers and drinks, but I'm not a huge party person, and often keep to myself most evenings to recoup. I'm also a vegetarian+, and am not bothered by other's culinary choices, as long as you're willing to let me cook for you sometimes! I'm super interested in teamups or pre-existing rooms on offer, so don't hesistate to get in touch.
Hey there! My name is Hugh and im currently looking for a place to move into asap. A little bit about me: I moved to melbourne in April 2016 from NZ, I have been working fulltime since i got here, and in my spare time i like to listen to music, play video games or work on my car/with computers :) I would consider myself to be bubbly, approachable and caring. I'm a pretty relaxed person who is very tidy and respectful of other people's needs, and also enjoys being social and having the occasional drink and going out. I have a very pretty kitty that is about a year and a half old! He is very well behaved and adorable. Hope you find my listing of interest and hope to hear from you soon!
Big man with soft heart. I’m looking to get along with the person/ people I end up living with because I am very sociable and social, but I also like time to myself from time to time. I am working full time, and spending my weekend relaxing at home or out with friends.
