Myself and Dave are moving to Melbourne on 12th October and will be looking for accommodation as soon as possible from then.. We would like the opportunity to flat share whilst we find a property of our own and wait for our belongings to arrive from the UK (estimated 2-3 months). We are looking to live in a beach suburb near the bay, I stayed in Frankston for 2 months last year on an exchange with work and now I am transferring from the UK on a work visa. We would like to be near to a train station as well, so Dave can get to the city/around in general for work etc., I will work in Dandenong South and drive. As we are a couple we are ideally looking for a furnished double bedroom/en-suite and access to wifi if possible. We are young adults that like to enjoy life as much as we can, we like music and sports, holidays and socialising with friends and family. We are both helpful, clean, tidy and caring individuals and hope that flat sharing to begin will also be a good way to meet people and make some new friends. We look forward to beginning our new adventure in Australia and seeing more of what the country has to offer.
i'm Richie, a 25 year old male looking for a place to live in the CBD. born and raised here in Melbourne, VIC. i'm working part time in Southbank and Port Melbourne with my two jobs (plus more !) so it would be of great service and convenience for me to live closer to work. i'm in a handful of industries like Gaming, Finance, Marketing, etc so i've dipped my thumb in a lot of pies. life outside of the professional world, i'm just a fat foodie at heart - i like to eat out but can also cook if i set my mind to it. i don't drink very often but i can hold my liquor if we're up for a night out; that said i have a sporadic schedule so my free time may not always be consistent - but even i like to have fun sometimes. if it's worth mentioning, i binge watch Youtube and Anime, but open for any TV Shows; and i play on my PC and PS4 on occasion too to pass the time. at home i can be the most loyal friend you can have, but otherwise i will respect the house rules if any. i have my private times and i have moments where i can appreciate a quiet day or two. i'm not here to impress anyone, i'm just gonna be me myself and i - if we share the same sentiments, then that would be awesome ! my duration of stay can be flexible, but i'm seeking long term since i don't plan on quitting my job/s anytime soon. i like pets of all kinds and i don't mind people that smoke, i'm an easy guy.
I'm just a small town American girl who's picked up her belongings and has run away from home. Along with my brilliant thought process (like moving to the furthest place from home ever), I am a person who likes to keep things organized and clean, I love to cook - especially when it's not just for me and I can be your best friend for the night if you ever just need someone to listen 🙋🏼 In previous shared apartments I've lived in I was known for: -always having a spare bottle of wine and a block of chocolate for emergencies -my mind blowing Mac N Cheese -building forts (because why not) -my valiant effort at rapping like Kanye -my hobby of picking up heavy things and putting them back down because it's supposed to be good for your health. I will be sent care packages from overseas throughout this year so if you've ever wanted to taste some corn syrup based, artificial happiness, preservative filled candy - nows your chance! Single A morning person without the need to show it I'll laugh at all of your jokes... Even the really bad ones because they'll probably still be funny to me I've studied performance in NYC and design in Europe. So basically I'm cultured and get along with hipsters really well 🙃 I'm fluent in American English and Danish. So I know the worlds most easiest language and the most useless/ugliest language 🇩🇰✌🏼️🇺🇸 Annddddd I can do that cool Dutch braid that everyone is posting on Instagram. I got you 👌🏼 Let's share a fridge 😊
Hi! I'm a 21 year old recent uni graduate from the UK, and I've always wanted to live in Australia so am finally following my dream!! I hope to start my working life in Melbourne, so will be looking for both full and part time work as soon as I arrive. I'm a very tidy person, and have no issue helping with cleaning around the house. I love socialising, and my idea of fun is going for a bike ride/ walk/ run with a friend, heading to a cafe/bar for a drink, or staying home and watching trashy TV or a good film (I studied film at uni). I also like to be alone from time to time, but in uni I lived in a house with 7 other people for 2 years, and before that lived in a dorm with 15 others, so I'm definitely comfortable sharing space with others (including animals, I absolutely love pets)! I've been a vegan for over 3 years and it has definitely made me very interested in cooking, and I love making treats to share with my housemates :-)
We're a newly married couple from the Philippines that is starting a new life here in Australia. I recently got a job as a university researcher and thus, we are looking for a place to stay between Melbourne CBD and Bundoora. My husband is an avid fan of tennis and I got dragged along in the sport as well.
Hey my name is Katie, I have recently moved to Melbourne and looking for a great place with great people. I work Monday - Friday, but ideally would be pretty quiet during the week, but up for a few drinks and outings at the weekend. I would prefer to live with people in the same situation as me, as I'm new to here and would like to live with friends not just 'lodgers'.
I am Tim: a 25 (almost) year old musician, currently work a full-time IT job in Notting Hill and a casual cafe job in Ripponlea. I am social and an external processor but respect personal space. My minimalist lifestyle consists of good hygiene, cleaning after myself and "attempt" to be less materialist. Always prefer a homey yet social environment that is chill, drama free and open minded. Triple J for life. I have $250 listed on my profile but that is with bills/internet included. Either way feel free to shoot me a message if you think we would match!
While transitioning (bolstering my financial situation) from a charity I set up I experienced shared house living and have found it to be both enjoyable and good for all involved when the conditions are right. Circumstance has me looking for a new shared environment so here I am. Oh yes - I believe in leaving spaces I visit cleaner than I found them and do my best to 'pay rent & bills ahead of time' if possible. Love exercise - especially supping (stand up paddle boarding) on a small wave - and being around positive people.
I’m a down to earth, friendly, reliable and clean guy (non-smoker) who has a full-time job in engineering, and enjoys doing various sports and activities at my spare time, crossfit, soccer, cycling. I'm looking for a shared place is St Kilda, South Yarra or surrounding areas.
I'm 29, English, Electrician. Although I am looking to change career path once I get settled and start studying finance and mortgages. I've just moved to Melbourne from Perth where I've been living since February 2013. I'll be staying in Melbourne fora couple of years at least so I'm looking for somewhere long term.
Hola hola! This is Pablo, an interior designer/architect from Spain who recently decided to move back to Melbourne (already lived here 2 years ago). I'm gonna start a Project Management course in October and also will be working part time so busy times ahead! I'm currently at a friend's room so im in the hunt of a proper place to move in as I will stay here for a considerable length of time. Last time I lived in Fitzroy (Bell St) and loved it so that's why im looking around this area, North Fitzroy, Collingwood and Carlton are also convenient for me! I'm super easy going, responsable and tidy boy so if you guys think I could be your future housemate and you feel like meeting me in person PLEASE contact me! :) _Pd: I love cooking so I offer myself to make a proper paella and other Spanish meals whenever you want! :) :)
Hi, My name is Krystal, I am a 33 year old and I work as a casual Laboratory Technician at the University of Melbourne. As a casual, work can be inconsistent, however i recieve a stready pension also, so theres no stress of bills/rent not getting paid on time! I currently live with my parents but am looking to head closer to the city, and have enjoyed my past experience with houseshares so am keen to do it again! When i am not working any shifts i enjoy an active lifestyle, which includes going to the gym, heading out to socialise as well as taking time out to relax and cuddle my two boys (cats) Ella and Eli. They are indoor cats who are shy, so they prefer to stray no further than my room, so they are very easy to live with too! I am neat and tidy and respectful of others, and look forward to meeting some potential housemates!
I'm a law student, working part-time as a paralegal and part time as a comedian. Looking for somewhere close to the CBD for the whole of 2017. That's really all the essential information! I speak fluent German, love to read Douglas Adams novels, and will happily prattle on for days about philosophy, the Beatles, or the philosophy behind the Beatles. I'm very clean, minimally noisy, and a third impressive adjective. Hit me up if you'd like to meet!
I'm a recruitment consultant, looking for a new environment to be closer to work and an opportunity to come out of my own comfort zone and connect with new and friendly people.
I'm easy going, quiet, clean, friendly and no issues with paying bills on time. I work and study full time so I can be pretty busy but I am also home most weekends. I'm a Christian who attends church regularly and sometimes small groups during the week. I currently live alone but am looking to move into a share house to lighten the burden on my poor pay check! My lease isn't up until the end of January so I would be looking to move just after Christmas - or I could possibly do before Christmas, just depends on finances. I would prefer to live in an all female flat with like minded women.
Friendly, clean, respectful, social, fun. Would like to live in a place where I can make great friends... Kiwi, 32 (I feel younger than 32 :), female, employed. Love to travel, food/wine, socialise, animals.. etc
I'm a UnimMelb international student, female, 21 from Singapore. And I'm looking into renting a room for more than a year if I'm comfortable with the stay. Will only be able to move in on the 25 January , 2017. Prefer rooms to be furnished and private. Cheers!
I’m a 32 year old full-time graphic designer. I came over to Melbourne from Adelaide to soak up the music and art the city has to offer and so am keen to get settled and start exploring!\ I’m quite sociable but don’t know all that many people in Melbourne yet, don’t mind a drink (coffee and/or alcoholic) and a chat and enjoy hitting up live music whenever possible! I’m responsible with bills, easy-going, tidy (especially in shared spaces) and respectful of personal space.
Hello, My name is Blake 24 years young, I've recently returned back from living, working & treveling for 2years overseas, I am in need of a place to live, ideally somewhere close to public transport for convenience and work reasons (But doesn't have too be near public transport as i do have my own vehicle) Things I do NOT do are: Smoke, Take drugs, Drink heavily, And go on tinder hook ups. Hey, I'm Caitlyn! I'm 18 years old and currently work 3 jobs. One of my jobs requires me to occasionally be away from home for a couple of days. I'm not after anything fancy, just a place I might be able to start calling home! I'm a vegetarian, and I love to cook. I'm generally quite a tidy person so I don't mind cleaning up. I'm not a major party type but I don't mind it on occasion. If I seem like the person you are after, feel free to message me, I'm always up for a chat!

Hi guys, My name is Gearoid and I'm a 32yo professional engineer. Working the normal routine from 8-4 during the week and splitting my time between Richmond (office) and Carrum Downs (site) during the week. I love my health and fitness and play soccer at amateur level a few times a week.I also love watching sport so whether that is sitting down watching it or heading along to the G or AAMI Park. I also love listening and playing music and slowly getting back into reading a bit more as well. I also love heading out, meeting new people and socializing as well, so whether thats a new restaurant or bar in St. Kilda or Chapel St, it can also be just dinner at home with a few cheeky vinos or beers and good company. I'm looking to join a household that is pretty social, active and most importantly have a sense of humour that I can join and become a part of. My names Belle and i am looking for short stay accommodation from January 6th - March 5th while I do my medical placement at the Royal Children’s hospital. I am looking for fun, friendly housemate/s who love a laugh and will join me for a wind down wine. In my free time I will be out with friends, brunching, yoga (in the room i promise) and traveling. Hope to hear from you 😊
I spend part of my week in Carlton North in a creative studio working with like minded designers and creatives, with a strong focus on sustainable design. I spend the other part of my week at RMIT finishing my third and last degree. I love yoga, I'm vegetarian 90% of the time (other people eating meat or fish doesn't bother me) and try and get to the Dandeonongs or Peninsula if I ever have a day to spare (which is not often enough). I'm tidy, easy-going and stay quite busy during the week. I like being in beautiful yet simple spaces (a product of studying design). I try and eat pretty healthy but can't go without the occasional dark chocolate treat. I'm looking to live with people who live relatively healthy lives, enjoy what they do, enjoy quiet time and also up for a chat over tea.

We are an easygoing couple looking to find a room in a sharehouse with some amazing housemates. Tim is a control systems engineer working full time - he likes to go to the gym regularly, snowboarding in the winter, and is looking for a good summer activity after a few consecutive winters. Renee is a full time teacher and part time hippy. She likes to eat good food, drink red wine and is hoping to become more involved with Melbourne's theatre scene in 2017. We hope to travel more in the future, so this is why we're looking for a good home base. We like to cook but won't leave a mess. We like to be social but also to be alone and relax. We're both a bit creative, a bit nerdy and a bit weird. Hope we can find a perfect fit!
Hey guys, I feel like I'm writing an RSVP "pick me" profile here! My name is Ciersley (pronounced K-ear-sley) and from Sydney (don't hold it against me!) I'm single, no pets (though love pets) and happy to live with males or females! Feel free to stalk away on FB and add me on there if you prefer. Thanks! Ciersley

Hello, My name is Antonin, I am French and I am looking for a nice flatshare around the city center of Melbourne starting in october. I already lived 6 months in this great city but I went back to Europe to feel the northern hemisphere summer :) I am therefore looking for a new place to live as I just came back. I have a financial studies background, I have worked as a maths teacher the last five years and since I arrived in Melbourne I have done loads of different jobs: waiter in a French restaurant in Carlton district; private Maths teacher for kids; extra on filming set... I am trustworthy, calm but always try to have fun, easygoing and clean… which should be normal! I enjoy travels, adventures, sports and socializing among other things. I spent the last 5 years working in South America, and loved it! I therefore speak Spanish as well. Thanks for reviewing my message and hope to hear from you soon. Best, Antonin
I'm fun, am always down for a bit of banter but am a deep down introvert who can cosy up with a good book or movie for hours. I'm originally from Northcote but the cost of living out of my parents house is way to much if I were to look at living in Northcote. I've lived in Preston before, on Murray Road with a friend Asher but she moved back to Lorne after she finished uni and I just moved back home. So living out of home isn't completely foreign to me 🙂 I'm very much into music and my weekends consist of going to gigs and catching up with friends. I'm a semi decent cook and my cooking hasn't killed me yet 😝 Would love to hear from anyone interested in having me as a flat mate, my max rent per week would be $200 but I'd love to go under that and leave a bit more play money for myself. Can't wait to hear from you all x
Hi there, My name is Annemette Juel and I'm 21 years and come from Denmark. For a year ago I finished High School. Afterwards I had a gap year where I have been working as a girl messenger on a TV-station called TV MIDTVEST. I'm travelling to Melbourne on a Working Holiday Visa and are going to work on a danish restaurant opening here in Melbourne CBD - so I would like to live in the city. Therefore I’m looking for an apartment where I can stay for about a year. I would love to find an apartment which I can call home and flatmate/flatmates which I can call friends. I see myself as an easy going person. I like social arrangements, drinking cofee on cafés and I am always up for a glass of wine or a chat, but I also appreciate quietness and homely comfort. I really like sport and if possible I go for a run or to the gym weekly. When I have time I love cooking - see this as an oportunity to taste danish ryebread! 😊 I see myself as a decent, respectful, clean (without OCD) and tidy person. I think these qualities are important when you share an apartment. Furthermore I would like to improve my English and I see this as a great chance. Maybe I can teach you some Danish words... Cheers Annemette
Hey yo, I'm a latin dude who haven't lost his spanish accent, 27 earth cycles, study at Rmit Mech engineering & business management and still a couple of years before I finish. I Surf as often as can (I love it) and as a good Latino I dance regularly Salsa and other latin styles. I work at a bar on weekends and also uber drive so paying rent on time is not an issue. Dont mind on street parking. I got my car, a push bike, Surf, snow and skate board. As an uni student I like having fun, discovering new pubs and venues but when uni tighten... Oh well. Always keen for a good chat and don't mind combining it with some wine to make it even more entertaining but not a must. Probably looking for more than a room in a place where people knows how play the cool kid game and is not afraid of being silly. I'm after a place with somewere between 2 or 3 more people since im of social nature. Far from being temperamental and my personality types are extraversion & agreeableness. I like keeping my place tidy and don't mind helping out with the chores. If sounds like not too bad please contact me cuze this page wants me to pay to look for somethin on advance. cheers!!
I'm a 29 years old french guy from Paris used to live in shared flats, I'm a very good cook, always cheerful and up to new activities. I do quite a lot of sports (tennis, running, training) and love culture (books, movies..), to share, and love to find always new lovely restaurants and bars.
Hi, I'm Sal! I currently live in Canberra but am looking to move down in the next couple of weeks. I love arts and cultural events/activities as well as getting outdoors and being active. I'll be new to Melbourne so am really keen to get out about and meet new people and see what Melbourne has to offer. I am looking for easy going, sociable housemate/s who would be happy to hang out, but also like to have their own space (like me!). Looking for housemate/s who are tidy, easy going, friendly and respectful. If you think I might be a good fit for your place I'd love to come meet you and check out the place at some stage. Thanks Sal

I'm not into crazy parties anymore but do like the odd social drink and gathering :) I love yoga. I like cooking and am a vegetarian but don't need to live in a veggie household.
