I need and want a homebase in Adelaide please. I have regular work (relief teaching), an excellent track record as a renter (full bond refunds e.g.). An easygoing, understanding gentleman. A proud Englishman, Aussie too. Considerate. What more could one want?
The only question is, really, the extent to which we meet each other's standards?...
I enjoy the game called life, with many goals. I appreciate (and have) a sense of humour. Like a mix of my own space, and sociable too. Am creative, and am a creative (29 times published street poet e.g.). Non-smoker, non-drinker. Also, a competitive game of chess wouldn't go astray from time to time (I miss playing chess)....
Yes, this is a long essay, I know. So hopefully it doesn't bore you too much (but fear not, I can always bore you later if you like).
I'm looking for a nice somewhere to live for about 3-4 months, a homebase happening soon as possible (sometime in May). A granny flat or similar, or a share rental. Preferably by the coast. With some storage space a bonus (but not essential as most of my possessions -- mainly books -- could continue in storage -- not ideal, but if needs be). Living out of a suitcase at the moment (almost literally!), so the sooner I have a somewhere to live at and enjoy...you get the idea.
Later in 2026, I will relocate to England. Nothing fixed yet. But for the time being I'd like to be more organised, settled and productive here in Oz, back here in ye olde Adelaide (it's my hometown)....
Am a casual relief teacher, as already mentioned, with the work now rolling well. I'm also career changing to a few other fields professionally. Photography e.g. Mathematics, writing (in addition to the street poetry), a few research projects are underway....
Am outdoorsy, active, energetic. And enjoy motorcycling.
Alright, that's all for now. Hope to hear from you soon.
Best regards, Craig T
