I'm looking for a place for me and my 9yo border collie mix named Argo.

I'm currently studying IT and working in OSHC, mostly during the school holidays.

Hobbies/interests:
• I spend a lot of time reading, doing puzzles, going on bush walks with the dog, playing video games, tinkering in the shed and watching cheesy sci-fi movies. Just cliché nerd stuff.

• I enjoy being creative and trying out different types of arts and music.

• I like baking and cooking, so generally try to have a decently stocked pantry for experiments

• I enjoy gardening when there is free time to keep plants alive.

• Sustainability is important. Still a lot to learn, but I do try to reduce/reuse/recycle, choose plastic-free/avoid single-use, buy secondhand.

As a housemate:
• I like to keep shared spaces organised and reasonably tidy, but I'm not expecting a place to be spotless.

• I don't smoke but I don't mind if others do, as long as there is no smoking inside or around the dog.

• I appreciate collaboration when it comes to chores and groceries (specifically shared, common items so that there isn't unnecessary waste if people are using the same products).
I don't mind helping out by rescuing someone's clothes from the line when it's about to rain, or washing up an extra pot when I am going to wash up mine anyway.

• I'm mostly introverted, so I I'd prefer a quiter place but I have no issue with guests over or gatherings if told in advance.
It's also nice to chat, share a meal or watch a movie/play a game with housemates occasionally.

Ideal house:
• Preferably looking for a place within walking distance to shops or near a train station to rely less on driving.

• Something with a decent backyard for the dog to run around as well as nearby parks and trails.

• A quiet place to study. Or space in the garage to work on projects.

• Another dog to keep Argo company would be nice

Houses with a bit of character are always a bonus.
