My name is Ben Goncalves, I’m 27 and originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands. I work full-time FIFO in the mining industry on a 2:1 roster, so I’m away for the majority of the time and only home for one week out of every three.

I’m easy-going, respectful and keep my living space clean and tidy. Because I’m away so much for work, when I am home I mostly just like relaxing, going to the gym, playing a bit of golf or catching up with mates, so I’m definitely not someone that’s going to be having parties or causing issues around the house.

I’ll be moving onto a student visa early next year so ideally I’m looking for a good group of people who are friendly, respectful and easy to live with long term. Having a comfortable place to come back to during my week off is important to me, and I’d treat the house as if it was my own.
