Hi there, my name is Sammy. I'm 24 years old and I've have over 6 years worth of rental history. You should know I am trans (she/her). I'm looking for a granny flat/unit or room in the Newcastle area. I'm friendly and love to have a chat! New to the area and don’t know anyone so making some friends would be a bonus. I'm honest and respectful of others and want what’s best for everyone in the household.
I am quiet when I need to be, will spend most of my time either out and about attending therapy, or at home with my cats. I like pop music and enjoy singing and dancing here and there. Also I enjoy watching movies and tv shows but I can never pick so having someone to do that with would be cool. Happy to do household chores as I’m currently not working due to mental health. But am on Centrelink benefits which will easily cover rent. I have 4 cats who I would like to bring with me, they are the sweetest cats I've ever met, they are my babies and I’m lucky I got to rescue them! They help me in so many ways. They are technically my ESA’s so for me it’s very important that they come with me. I don’t do illegal drugs or drink alcohol but I do vape. I like the idea of social drinking out at the pub or club occasionally, but yeah that’s about it.
I’m going through the toughest time in my life dealing with recent complex grief/loss and now fleeing a dv relationship and I could really use a break. I hope you can consider me. Would definitely appreciate living with people close to my age who have an understanding of adversity. I’ve been approved for the start safely subsidy, as well as bond extra and if once a lease has been secured I’ll also have the bond loan. Plus a few lump sums are being processed and will continue to keep me financially stable, so I am confident in being able to pay rent/bills with ease and finally become independent again. Hoping that later in the year once things cool down and my mental state begins to heal, I’ll start studying so that I can return to work. :)
