Hi there! I'm currently living in Sydney but I will be getting relocated for work to Newcastle later in the year... hopefully I'll be able to find a place through here before then! I work full-time as a Civil Engineer, ideally I would like to make my transition to Newcastle towards the end of November - begging of December but I'm flexible in this regard. I been living with flamates/housemates for some time now, and I'd like to think that I'm good housemate. I enjoy a good balance of privacy and social life. Never used the 'Team Ups' option on here before but I'm very open to it, so if you are also looking for a place around the same dates and would like to Team up, just send me a message! Ed.
I am currently finishing up in the ski season down in Victoria. I am moving up to the Newcastle area for a new job and I currently don't have anywhere to stay. Ideally I would like to start with a month and see how it goes after that. I would prefer Port Stephens/ Nelson bay area, however anywhere in Newcastle will also be ok. I will start driving up on Sunday and get there on Tuesday. Ideally no more than $220 a week for rent. I will be working full time in a Reservations role. I'm not too sure about the hours yet but I think it will be day time work. I am quiet and friendly, always up for a chat. Ideally a place where there aren't too many late night parties would be great.
Hi i'm Sam! I'm from Sydney but i'm here in Newcastle studying my masters of teaching for the next 2 years. I've travelled all over the world so i'm used to living with different types of people. I like to be social but I definitely need my own space too so i'm looking for a balanced sort of place to live!
Hey i'm Courtney i'm 25 yrs old i'm a working makeup artist. I am an organised and very clean individual. I could also be described as a social butterfly... I do love having my friends over but knows how to respect others boundaries. Basically i'm looking for someone who's not socially awkward and communicative. I'm really looking for team ups and hoping to sit down for a coffee and a chat.
Hi my name is Claire, im 22 and I have a beautiful puppy (his name is Titan) We are looking for somewhere new and would preferably like to be close to town. I am clean and respectful. I work full time and on weekends I hang out with friends or spend time with Titan. I would love to find somewhere with a small to medium yard as I cant go anywhere without my pup coming with me. He is still only young but sleeps outside and loves cuddles. I like to be social and love the odd wine but i also spend a lot of time just doing my own thing or staying at my boyfriends place. If you are interested in meeting Titan and I or have any questions please message me :)
Hey Guys, Started work for the Newcastle Knights very soon and am looking for a place to live in Newcastle. Currently living in Sydney and am very used to living with other people. Get along with pretty much anyone and like to clean up after myself straight as soon as I'm finished with it. Very casual and enjoy my sports and fitness especially rugby league, NFL and soccer. If you've got pets that's a bonus but it's fine if not, I've got none of my own to bring. Please let me know if you think I'll be a good fit.
My name is Tinkerbelle (yes really!) but my friends call me Tink for short, i grew up in belmont and have always been around the newcastle area. I am a very easy going person, always open to making new friends! i find it easy to get along with people as i have many interests that range from sporting and outdoor activities to beauty and makeup and always find someone who likes something similar. In my spare time i like to read and listen to music then on my days that i'm really feeling alive i'll go on random trips with friends down to Sydney/Nelsons Bay and go shopping, visit attractions, go hiking etc. As well as being fun and out going i am also respectful and polite, i can cook and find myself to be quite tidy. I am currently studying Outdoor Recreational Activities at tafe so i'll be out 4/7 days a week and with the other 3 days i'll most likely be studying. I also understand completely that i'm very young and most of you want to share accommodation with someone older and more 'mature' but i can assure you just from meeting me once that you'll see i have my head screwed on more then most teenagers these days, i'm over the 'partying and drugs' stage, i want to do and be better. I've seen friends go down paths i'd rather not follow hence why i'm trying so hard in life now. My aim is to succeed but in order to do so i need to get out of this refuge and be in a better environment. Sorry about the documentary but a little honesty goes a long way.
I work and study in hospitality and generally do 5 night shifts a week. However, on the precious nights off I do get, I like to have a drink (maybe a bottle of wine). And on mornings where I don't snooze my alarm 500 times, I like going to yoga or for a nice walk. Ideally looking to live with one other person who has likes good music, food and an all round legend.
I am a PhD student in Structural Engineering, happy to meet new people, sociable, tidy and keen for social drinking if all the other tenants are ok and happy with. I'm not a difficult guy to get along with. I am a completely flexible guy and easygoing. So, feel free to message me :)
Pretty chilled and relaxed. Live a social life, so I'm out and about a lot - inclusive, so you are always welcome to come hang whatever I'm doing. Work full-time, 9-5pm Monday to Friday. Love my basketball, AFL, and most sports on TV. Play music and record and such. Looking for people that like to hang out and have a beer, but are also fine with me hanging in my room. Thanks guys, Angus
You'll be living with a bubbly, tidy woman who likes to socialize with housemates but is respectful of everyone's personal space and schedules. By day, i'm a full-time applied social science undergrad, mental health worker, and freelance writer; by night, i'm an amateur cook, music junkie, and undefeated Cards Against Humanity champion. I also love riding my bike and playing with my wee pup (though he's pretty old so he's tuckered out before too long). I'm financially responsible and generally quiet (i'm over huge wall-rattling parties). I have plenty of furnishings to set up a place if needed, but can put things in storage if we're doubling up so it's all fair and equal. At this point in life, i'm looking for a place that's friendly, safe, peaceful, and happy! (Note: Not on the market for a single room in student accommodation)
Looking for a room in town, preferably near the beach but not essential. I'm healthy, love going for walks, very clean and respectful and wish to live with like minded people. I love a wine on the weekend but I work most of it so I'm it's usually a pretty chilled lifestyle for me.
Hello, My name is Amber, I'm currently working part-time and also studying part-time. Seeking a pet friendly room. I have two beautiful dogs (lab and cattle cross) so it would be great to find people who are also animal lovers such as myself! I'm friendly, easy going and tidy. Always up for socialising and having a few drinks however I am also content in my own company so whatever works is fine by me :)
Hey I am looking for a place for after I graduate in November. I am an Engineering student currently working in Beresfield whilst finishing off my FYP. I am easy going and I like to play sport and hang out with friends in my free time, I also enjoy cooking. I often get up quite early so I am not interested in being in a party house. I like to relax on the weekends generally involving something like BBQ and drinks. I like to try and keep things tidy and clean. Looking for a place with young professionals that are also easy going.
