Clean freak, loves animals, quiet and loves making friends!
I'm happy and easy-going, I like to keep things tidy and I'm reliable. I'm working a casual job at the moment (but tend to work full-time hours) and about to go back to studying full-time at Newcastle Uni. I have a pet, she's a toy poodle x, a tiny lovely dog. I'm pretty active and like to go for walks or get outside. I also have some hobbies that may benefit others, I'm fond of making desserts, for example.
Hi I'm just seeing if your room is still available? My name is Rob and I'm coming down from Goldcoast to start a business contacting to Downers for the NBN and looking for a place to crash for 6mths+ You probably won't see me much as I will be doing really long hours but keen to socialize on any down time. I'm very hard working, tidy, chilled out guy just looking for somewhere to rest my head. I've just built a house on the Gold Coast and enjoy music, sports, movies, podcasts and socializing over a couple beers. Oh and I'm a non smoker. So yeah that's my novel, just give me a call if you are interested when you get a chance. Cheers Rob.
Hello! So I'm Amy, 21 and born and raised in Newie. I am looking for maybe another housemate to start up a house in a two bedroom place or something! :) I've lived in share housing before and I'm always respectable and tidy. I do also enjoy my alone time, and having always lived in share housing with 5 or more people, I'm looking to seriously cull the amount of housemates I have haha. I come with a cat! So if you're interested in having a little furbuddy with you to cuddle and pat, talk to me! :) His name is Bucky (as in Winter Soldier - any Marvel fans?) and he's adorable, basically my son. I have an abundance of scented candles and teas which I am willing to share, and I love Kmart. Basically ideal housemate.
Hello. My best friend and I are looking to move out in feb/march. We both have full time jobs. We are both pretty easy going chicks. Tee and I are both orginally from Coffs. Most weekends we go to the beach or go 4wd with friends.
Hi I'm looking for a furnished room in a great houseshare with friendly people who are used to sharing their space and don't mind the occasional chat. I've travelled a lot for work and lived in houseshares with people of all different ages and nationalities. I work at Glendale TAFE, am a nonsmoker, into yoga, healthy eating, enjoy an occasional wine, friendly and considerate of others, love a laugh and don't take myself too seriously.
Hi my names Lisa im 19 technically in my 2nd year of uni though changed degrees from business so this year i start first year social work Im looking for a share house in the Newcastle area, as close to the uni as possible! first time moving out of home, i love to go out to have drinks or even just going to the beach. I'm David, a PhD researcher at the University. Looking for a new place to call home, I'm easy going, enjoy the occasional drink or meal with housemates. I'm pretty busy during the week with work but kick back when I can at the weekends. If I sound like someone you could get a long with, give me a shout. :)
Hi there! :) My name is Brooke, I'm 22 years old and am looking to share a house/apartment with likeminded people. I'm originally from the Blue Mountains and am moving to Newcastle for 2 months for a work secondment. I finished uni early last year (Bch Town Planning) and currently work for the State Government as a Development Assistant. I'm usually out of the house by 7.30 and home by 7pm. I am very clean, organised and respect people's privacy. Outside of work, I love to keep active (run, swim, netball). I don't have any pets currently, but love animals so if there are any pets in the house it won't be a problem. I'm social, but also appreciate my privacy. I can interact with roommates as much or little as you want :) My preference is an all female household, but I'd consider mixed gender households also! I hope to hear from you soon! :)
Hi my name is Georgia, I'm 21 years old and have just moved down from the Gold Coast. I am currently studying a bachelor of biomedical science. I live a healthy and active lifestyle. I am looking to move into a share house with friendly and clean flatmates who don't mind a quiet drink and a chat
Originally from Sydney I have been living in Newcastle for the past year and have enjoyed every minute of it. I am a young professional that works full time within the region. I'm fairly quiet in nature and laid back but love to share meals, drinks and generally socialise. In my spare time I enjoy TV, the beach and keeping fit (though my arms currently in a sling!). I am a clean person that respects my own privacy and others equally.
Hi, We are Brooke and Kim, two young girls just making way through life, we both work full-time and one studying at UON. We both are fun and bubbly and always up for an adventure. Brooke and I are looking for a place to call home, whether you may have 2 rooms for rent for us or have a lease ending we would be happy to take over :) Please send a message or give Kim a text, please do not call as its easier to reply to messages.
Bubbly, outgoing and super friendly! Im a bit of a clean freak cant live in a messy house. OCD kicks in! Love being outdoors!! Im a Registered Nurse looking for a place/room to rent with my little sister. In need of a change of scenery!
I'm 29 and work full time in childcare. I am a neat and tidy person and enjoy cooking, trying new meals and enjoy fun times. During the week I stay quiet and on the weekends I enjoy catching up with friends, family and going out for lunch and dinner and sometimes checking out the night life. My interests and hobbies include travel, photos, reading and random outtings. I am an animal lover and would be happy to live with anyone who has dogs. I can be quiet at first but once I get to know you I am more outgoing and fun to be around. I have been in Newcastle for about 18 months and would like to meet some new people
Hi I'm Hayley, I work full time, I'm an easy going person who enjoys a good chat however I also appreciate my own space and am respectful of the space of others. As long as the common areas in the house are clean I'm happy, but funky smells coming from rooms are gross. I've been living alone for the last six months but would love to find a place with a housemate or two as a way to mix things up a bit and a way to meet new people. I enjoy going to the beach, for hikes or visiting family on the weekends and even having social drink here or there, as well as reading, attempting to draw and sitting and watching a good movie or tv show. I also have a cat that I have recently adopted so she will be coming with me. She is very affectionate and has previously been socialized with other cats, however any dogs would need to remain in the yard. I'm hoping to find a housemate or two who I hope to get to know as friends. I'm preferably looking to start a new share house as I have some furniture from my time living on my own. Feel free to message me with any questions.
Hey, I'm Sarah. I'm a third year nutrition and dietetics student looking for a place close to the beach with some rad people. Very easy-going, neat and tidy. Not a massive party animal but definitely enjoy a glass of wine and a chat. I'd love to live with other people who are active and love the outdoors.! Flexible with dates but looking to move at some point in Feb!
hi, I am currently up here in newcastle (from VIC) looking for accomodation before i start a new job in Feb. I've viewed a few places through realestates and i was planning on just renting a place myself, but there aren't a lot of options close to the city, so I thought I would try on here. I am starting working for a company called ALS as an engineering consultant and I am looking to rent a room for the next year close to the city. I spend most of my free time surfin, here in aus and overseas, keen to get back into some yoga up here and enjoy a healthy life style. I'm 33yo so I prefer to cook a good meal and share a bottle of wine with my house mates rather than go out partying with them. feel free to give me a call if you have a room spare. thanks Simon
My names Bryce, I’m looking for a room to rent from the start of Feb. I’m pretty easy going and like to relax when I’m at home. I work full time managing a Bar in town which takes up most of my nights throughout the week, but when i’m not working I like to just kick back.
I am a tidy, organised and mature individual with a friendly, easy going nature. Very easy to talk to, though i enjoy spending time on my own as well. Im a very active and adventurous person, meaning i wont be home much, and you can have the whole house to yourself most of the time. Non smoker, always clean after myself, dont mind doing chores and i offer great company! I am specifically after a spacious room to rent in a new, modern style setting, within 20 minutes to the newcastle cbd or within 10km of the beach since i have recently taken up surfing as a sport! Dont hesitate to contact me if you feel that i'll be a suitable flat mate, xx
I grew up in a small town on the coast. My hobbies include swimming and listening to music. I am a tidy person, enjoy cooking and easy going.
Looking to move into a chill sharehouse, with like minded people! I`m pretty much the most laid back person you will ever meet. I study law, love the beach, enjoy a glass of wine, am tidy and respectful of fellow housemates and always up for a chat. Hoping to move in with people I can call friends and would be keen on having a drink or two! I`m a very hard worker and get busy with Uni during semester, but always make time to pull my weight around the house. If I sound like I would fit in feel free to hit me up! Peace :)
I'm a friendly person who is also clean and tidy. I can be both quiet and social, and would be happy to share meals depending on the culture of the house. I have a busy lifestyle, so I'll be in and out of the house. I'm women casually as a disability support worker and I am also studying Sociology. I try to be environmentally friendly at he i.e. composting. I don't own a lot of stuff so won't leave my stuff lying around. If you want to know more about me, feel free to send me a message!
My name is Byron and I’m a 26 year old male from Melbourne currently looking for a place around Newcastle CBD area to move into late Jan/early Feb. I’ve currently just gained employment with NSW ambulance service for which I commence at the beginning of January, which is a minimum of a one year employment so I’m looking for a long-term lease rental agreement. I’m an easy-going guy who is friendly and get along with most people. I’m tidy and pick up well after myself :) I’m not a huge party person but I definitely enjoy a drink with dinner and a beer on Sunday, and definitely going for bush walks! I’m looking for a place to be at home (not just a rental property) and not interested in a rowdy loud house.
Hi there. Currently and for the last couple of years, I rent on my own after many years of share housing. However, as rent keep going up I'm considering looking to 'team up' on a new rental property preferably (mainly seeing as I've got a house worth of furnishings). I'm not in a desperate hurry to move and would only look to do so with the right housemate basically. I do actually have a spare bedroom at my current lease so would consider taking on a housemate at the current property also. About me; I work full time, play sport a couple of times a week, non-party animal, enjoy reading, listening to music and the beach in summer. I've been living in Newcastle just over five years now and don't mind playing tour guide if you're new to the city! Around the house, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful. I enjoy good company and conversation, but also enjoy a bit of quiet time too occasionally. Weekends are pretty quiet and laid back but in saying that, I like to get out of the house (not a lounge lizard). An ideal housemate would fit into similar criteria hopefully or at least think this sounds a bit like them. Similar age bracket too would be good. Let me know if that's you!
Reliable income and large savings. I've very recently returned from America, and am looking for a place to stay which is close to the university, and Newcastle, for the next 6 to 12 months, whilst organising a permanent move back with my fiance'. Ex-uni student, guitarist, enjoys cooking, and an avid reader. Outgoing and very sociable, and am mostly interested in a quiet and clean house to study and allow me access to Newcastle. Have my own car, have prior references, and i can teach you to play smoke on the water.
Paige, 23, I'm studying a Cert 4 in fitness and I am very outgoing! Love meeting new people and always love cooking when I'm home. Love travelling around the world, beach days and a sneaky Sunday sesh with friends every now and again. I am super tidy and respectful of others. I work at Wests New Lambton so I'm usually working, at the beach or watching to many seasons on netflix. Please feel free to ask any questions :)
Hey! I'm a super clean & reliable, health conscious person who enjoys fitness; not into partying although I am a social person when it comes to outdoor activities. I don't drink. I love cooking. I surf & skate & am not home much because I enjoy being outdoors. I study at UON and work part-time. Looking for somewhere close to Bar Beach or Newcastle East beaches (within walking distance). Looking to move anytime in mid to late Feb preferably the week starting the 27th but can move earlier if I find the right place :) Message me if you think your place sounds fitting (preferably in Newcastle East, Cooks Hill, The Hill, Bar beach, Newcastle.)
Hi there! I'm Andrew. I'm in my final year of uni, studying to be a lawyer. This year I'll be working two days a week and studying. Looking to move into an apartment close to, or in, the Newcastle CBD, so that I can walk to work and uni. I'm a tidy person with respect for other people's space. I'm looking to meet two other like-minded people (i.e. students, young professionals etc) to team-up and find a place, and hopefully be flatmates I can be friends with! I will need a place to park a car.
Hello, I've recently graduated from my studies in Melbourne. I am about to embark on an exciting part of my life as I take on a graduate position in NSW. I am looking for a household that is already set up. I am organised, clean and considerate. I am up for hanging out but I also appreciate some time alone with a perfect cup of tea. I am an ambivert. My interests include spending time in national parks, watching films with subtitles, trying out new restaurants/cafes, and trying (but failing) to be as physically active as I can. Please message me if you think I'll be a perfect fit for your household :)
I'm pretty easy going and very social, looking for a laid back place to call home. Always up for housemate activities, but am also respectful of space and down time! I love the beach, brunch & a cheeky drink or two, though I'm not so keen for a party house. I'm tidy and clean, but not too over the top about it.. I also have a Nintendo NES & a pretty great novelty lighting collection to bring to the table.
25yr old Nurse - work at John Hunter Hosp - so ideally looking for a place close by. Looking to live with housemates that are reasonably clean and respect privacy - I work 12hr shifts so when I'm working in a bit of a hermit but otherwise very social. I work night shifts so looking for someone thats either lived with a shift worker or ok with being considerate and quiet some days of the month.
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm studying my Masters in Social Work and working in mental health with an NGO. I have two weeks to find a new place and my current real estate (Nextview Property) are happy to rent to me again so If I can find one or two others to live with me, we're good! I'm an amazing housemate and have an indoor rabbit named Margot that spends her days getting pats. She is smart, litter trained and more of a cat-dog. I'm very clean, considerate of all my housemates, responsible, active, enjoy a glass of wine, hanging out and gaming. I am open to living pretty much anywhere from Wallsend to Newcastle.
Im 20 years old and am an extremely social and friendly person, but I also enjoy keeping to myself at times. I am very clean and have to live in a tidy area. I'm looking to move in with females only. I am a very creative and artsy person, and I sing and play some acoustic guitar and piano so a room mate would have to be ok with that. I like to get out of the house a lot, and spend most of my time at the beach. Im also starting at Newcastle uni this feb. That's pretty much it!
Just finished school and am starting full time university this year. I am social and love to go out with my friends but also like to spend time by myself. Would love to live with people around the same age as myself and broaden my social horizons as well as make some awesome new friends!
Friendly and pretty easy going, I always clean up after myself, I work fulltime Monday to Friday and enjoy the beach and getting out, I don't like to be stuck in doors for too long.... I don't mind a few drinks and good company but not real keen on a party house during the working week
A friendly, clean and tidy couple looking for a good environment that they can call home. We have lived in previous share houses just looking to be closer to work, beaches and shops as neither of us hold a drivers license. We keep to ourselves but and are quiet easy going but don't mind a chat. message me if interested .... :)
I'm currently near the end of a gap year I gave myself for 2016, (such a strange year) I'm relocating from Melbourne to Newcastle for a change, I'm born and raised in Melbourne. I'm easy going, clean, I'm respectful of overs, I enjoy socializing, I surf, rock climb, play guitar (I'm certainly considerate with regards to noise/music I make) and I love a laugh. I'm in need of a furnished room. Previous to 2016 I was renting an 2 bedroom apartment in the suburb of Malvern on my own, the property manager gave me an excellent review I'm happy to supply. I tried looking for work from Melbourne in Newcastle with not much luck so I'm going to take the plunge and move up first before securing work, for a few months of this year I've been working as a labourer. I have plenty of savings which I'll happily screenshot for proof. I keep in touch with a previous house mate who can be a reference. I'm happy to answer any questions and genuinely happy to have a chat
Moving to Newcastle from Sydney next year to study my Masters in Architecture at UON (starting in Feb), and looking for a relaxed household to call home from around late January to mid-February. While I'll probably be spending a lot of time in the studios at uni, in my spare time I also like to lift weights and surf (poorly), go for rides on my motorbike, watch horror films and hang out at local coffee shops and bars. I'd love to be a part of a home with similarly-minded active, creative people, who like to share the occasional beer or glass of wine, maybe get a pub trivia team going Thanks!
Hey I'm Mitch, I'm a very easy going dude that is looking for a comfortable place to live. I'm clean, tidy and organised by nature but wont be a Nazi about it 24/7 haha. I am very sociable and have a great outgoing relationship with my friends/family but I'm not looking to join a rundown party house at all! Beers and Wines by the beach and maybe some eggs Benedict on the weekend sounds good to me. I also like to train at the Gym 4-5 times a week and go for Jogs with my doggo. She is a very obedient outside pet that is loved by everyone who meets her. She will reside with me so pets need to be considered but I can assure she is not a problem at all. I currently own a property in Beresfield but due to a split with my partner we are now going through the process of selling and I plan to rent for at least 12 months provided the place is comfortable and flatmates are friendly :) Location needs to be close to Newcastle preferably but may consider other options. I work full-time (40+ hours) and study part time Via Correspondence. So with work study and Gym Mon-Fri I will be out of your hair haha but when it comes to the weekend I'm very easy to get along with! :) And I am not lazy in the slightest so Yard/pool maintenance is not problem what so ever. Let me know if I could be considered. Cheers.
Hi, I'm Madalyn. Looking for someone to live with who is easy to get along with, clean and tidy. I work full time as a registered nurse. Looking for like minded people who like to socialise on the weekend either at home with wine and a good cheese board or head out too.
Hi! I'm a full time art student and work weekends. 6 months+ is preferable but short term is ok until i find something long term This move has sprung on me rather quickly so i will have bond, but only when i get it back from my current place (our lease ends 27th jan) I love to cook (so theres always yummy leftovers because portion control is for suckers) not a big party person (being 30 i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs) but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selection are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. quite happy to be anywhere on the scale of keeping to ourselves or becoming BFF's. (although some sort of happy interaction is pleasant and i'll be new to the area so friendly locals are always a nice find) i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. not a clean freak but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
I am 19 years of age, currently studying law full time at the university of Newcastle and working part-time in the hospitality industry. I am friendly, easy going and would be very considerate of others when sharing housing. I enjoy my own time, and like to live in a clean environment. I am very social and often like utilise spare time with my friends or getting active.
Hey there my name is Gabriel argiris, I am 22 and work full time at Talulah bar and restauraunt as well as a full time musician playing in 3 bands this year. I completed 3 years of law and business at the university of Newcastle but decided to pursue my music dream while I am young. I am in need of a room ASAP as I have to be out of my Carrington house by the 25th January. I have lived by myself for 3 years now with both properties in my name and subletting. I am a very mature person and super tidy from 7 years in a restauraunt. My average income is about 800 a week from the restauraunt plus any money I make from music throughout the week. I spend next to no time at my house ever, due to my busy schedule. if you had any questions.
Mature, 23 year old professional. Been living out of home since i was 18! Very clean & take pride in the up keep & appearance of my home. I'm a social person who enjoys getting out & about socialising, meeting new people but do also appreciate my own space from time to time & respect other's space! Work Mon-Fri, 9-5 & alternate Saturday mornings & when not at work, i'll be around the water somewhere, catching up with friends or being boring watching netflix & pigging out on delicious food :D
