HOWDY. I've lived a slight nomadic lifestyle the past few years. Originally from the south coast and now Newcastle bound (have had a few detours in Sydney and central coast). I'd like to think I'm clean, respectable of others and easy to get along with. Being a shift worker, I do really appreciate house mates that are also respectable of each other and clean after themselves. I'm always down for a beer or walk to the beach. But I do work 12 hr shift in a busy emergency department and commuting an hour away, so I very much appreciate people need their space too. I do work 50% night and spend abit of times and friend, going home to wollongong or seeing people in Sydney. So you will very much have some "you space" in the house. I spent alot of time out and about. Always most happy in the water or in the sun with a book/music/ and good coffee in hand. Looking to team up a house 2-3 bedrooms. Somewhere within walking or bike riding distance. Interested in paying $200-260.
We have just moved to Newcastle after a couple of snow seasons in Jindabyne. We are tidy, considerate and respectful people. Both like to go out and have fun, enjoy chill drinks at home and respect personal space. Ben's a surfer and loves the gym. We both work hospo/retail. We've both lived in many share house and had the best times and made great friends, looking to make some more !
First year Med student at Newcastle uni! Looking for a place that’s clean and has closeby public transport options. I’m an easy going person who’s pretty much studying or gymming most of the day. I’d like my place to be a non party house, but would love to chill and hang with my roommates at times. If this fits what you’re looking for or have to offer hmu!
We are pretty laid back, clean and quiet. We like to cook (Darren makes good pizzas and curries), Reddit and watch YouTube videos. We are a Canadian Food Scientist and a Kiwi Aircraft Engineer in Australia for a year, camping and touring the goldfields in our spare time fossicking for gold and working a few months at a time.
I'm a 26yr old professional who works full time in the public sector. I'm respectful of others and happy to go with the flow whatever that may be, I'm just looking to find a place where everyone is respectful of each other but also easy going too and happy to be in their own space but not afraid to have a conversation either..
Hi, we are two students from lower Bavaria in Germany. We are studying International Management in Deggendorf and we will start our semester abroad in Newcastle at the end of July. The both of us are very happy and funny people. We got to know each other at the beginning of our studies. We are open-minded girls who like to meet new people in Australia to have the best semester abroad one can have. In our free time we do sports, hang out, watch Netflix, meet friends, go to the Cinema, etc. And as we are "real" Bavarians we are very gentle people to live with. If you have suitable rooms to offer, please feel free to contact us!
Hey! I'm Liam, I work full time as an Engineer. Looking to team up with some people to find an awesome place with! I'm friendly, social and love to go for a surf on the weekends. I've also got a TV, Fridge and Washing Machine to contribute! if you're interested send me a message!
Hello! I’m Ash, 26 years old, single and a primary school teacher. I’m currently working full time, so I’m at home nights and most weekends. I’m a relatively clean and tidy person, and take pride in having a clean house/area-hoping to find flat mates like minded! As well as finding housemates, I’m also looking to expand my friendship circle 😂 I’m not a big party/night club person although I don’t mind the occasional wine or cocktail 😋
Hi! My name is Emily & Im 24 years old. Im currently studying a Bachelor of Business at Newspace & working part time at a retail store. I am a really clean & tidy person. I do love to have my own space but I'm always up for a chat. Im looking to move into town so I can be closer to uni. I love working out, brunching & don't mind a dance & a drink on the weekend :) I do love to travel aswell & meet new people
Hey! I’m Skye. 😌 I’m a bubbly, easy to get along with and open minded 20 year old girl. I like to be friends and get along with everyone, although at the same time I’m a bit of an introvert unless I’m drinking, ahah! I’m a mature, headstrong girl for my age age and I’d love to be able to share a home with people that I could generally form a friendship with as well. I’m a smoker. I like to go clubbing, but I’m not a stupid little girlie drunk, I can handle myself. I’ve also got a son, he’s a border collie and means the absolute world to me and nothing less. I’ve had him since I was a kid. I hope to hear from you soon!
Hi! I'm a full time art student - starting degree in Natural History Illustration this year at UON and i work part-time in retail. Long term preferred. Would also be up for teaming up for a new place with a realestate. Mereweather-ish preferred. not a big party person, being 30(ish) i prefer red wine and cheese platters to beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard and a cheeky night out once in a while. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selections are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. Looking for friendly and interactive housemates that like to hangout, I don’t really know anyone up here yet, so friendly roomies willing to go on walking/driving adventures to the beach or hiking through reserve parklands would be wonderful. But I’m also considerate of personal space and quiet time and like my own from time to time. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everyone (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house. not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
Hi everyone! I am a 22 year old female from Sydney looking to create a new life in Newcastle! I will be studying law full time at UON and working part time in disability support. I am a friendly and laid back person who would love to make friends with potential flatmates, but is also respectful of the need for personal space :) I am a health conscious vegetarian who enjoys the outdoors, coastal walks, anything fitness related and going to the markets :) I also love animals and have a 8 year cockatiel and a 2 year old green cheek conure. I love them to bits and couldn't part with them - they would stay in my room. They are a bundle of joy and often come on day trips with me! Hope to hear from you if it sounds like we would be great flatmates! Moving date is very flexible :)
Super easy going, relocating to Newcastle in the next 4 to 6 weeks Have a kitten, she's 11, who is basically so relaxed and friendly I could supply 10 plus references that speak to how lovely she is to live with. I'm clean as anything and adore cooking. Love my own time but am very social. Yoga enthusiast and working full time.
Australian and recently returned to Aus after spending two years living in Canada. I love to travel and get outdoors, hobbies include running, camping and hiking. I've lived in lots of share places previously and am clean, respectful and pretty quiet but happy to catch up socially with room mates and enjoy a few quiet drinks. I am moving to the lake macquarie/newcastle area for work in mid may, I grew up on the Central Coast so pretty excited to be going back to a beautiful part of the world. My work is varying shifts which will include at least one night shift a week so you will have plenty of space as well. Would be happy to stay for longer than 6 months, I would prefer not to stay anywhere less than 6 months. Send me a message if you want to know anything else.
Recently moved to Newcastle from the Central Coast. Currently living in an apartment by myself so I am looking for a share house with friendly people. Studying full time at University and working part-time at a pub. I clean, cook and am respectful of other peoples space however always up for a good chat.
Hi there 👋🏼 My names Chez and I’m 19 turning 20 in August. I’m a non smoker. I’m working causally at the moment and am starting a course in July this year. I’m a respectful and quite person. I’m looking to move in the next couple of months. I’m looking for a place close to public transport. Would prefer an unfurnished room where the internet and bills are included in the rent.
My name is Patrick, I just moved from Melbourne to take a job as an Analyst for an NGO in the healthcare space. I would like you to know I am 32 and conduct myself like an adult, including being clean about the house, paying bills on time, not making a ruckus and being cordial and an engaging conversationalist. Also, I can provide references to that effect. About myself, I can reduce myself to dot points as such: * I work in IT but I'm not like those other IT guys. * I cook really well on account of my mother being a chef and teaching me when I was little. * I've totes done a bunch of international travel which I take is important from reading other peoples profiles when I was in your position. * I'm Super Chill - (see above). * Liberal political views. * Just like, a really cultured dude; reads books and a cinephile Feel to ask if you have any other questions and I hope to hear from you!
Hey there! Have recently moved to Newcastle for work and am seeking a place to live, hence the need for this bio. I’m 23, a nurse (meaning shift work) and would like to think of myself as an easy going, friendly person, always up for a laugh and chat so would not bother me if you have friends around, if anything you’ll find I’m more likely to hang out and socialise but I also understand the need for space and am respectful of this. I do adult well meaning I’m house trained and know how to clean up after myself, and very reliable with bills and what not, but I won’t lie, I can barely cook 2 minute noodles. If I’m not at work I am usually keen for a few (too many) beverages and a dance, like to get out of the house and explore or I’ll be binge watching Netflix, reading or playing games. I’m flexible with a move in date, and would like built ins/ furnished room but open to other options, I would also need somewhere to park my car, not fussed if it’s on/off street.
