I am now 58 and stopped work at 50 due to damage done during cancer treatment. I am financially stable, and I receive a Disability Pension. The damage done is internal, not visible apart from my hearing aids. I like to live in a clean, respectful environment. An environment free of illegal drug users, alcoholics, hard drinkers and smokers, hopefully one that is well insulated and enjoys being looked after.

I enjoy gardening, the odd meal out, SBS, ABC, PBSFM, RRR. I am a non-smoker and casual drinker (take it or leave it). I have no pets currently, but I love animals, no children or partner either.

I am an early bird and in the mornings, I like to read the online news over a fresh coffee. I rent by choice and have an excellent rental history, along with excellent references. I have my own vehicle and a current WWCC.

I am currently just north of Newcastle as a result of the housing crisis and longing to return home to Victoria. I have spent the last five years or so in Castlemaine and Geelong but housing in Castlemaine is in very short supply. I have a small number of possessions in Bendigo which are being kept in storage. I have offloaded most of my possessions as it is not beneficial to store them and can replace what I require or want.

I have downsized what I own recently so I am geared towards a shared house situation. I have pictures and some documents that give you a good idea about me that I keep in my Google Drive that I am happy to share.

Hopefully I will find a place that has a shared space that I can enjoy with others but also be able to have private time when required.

I am looking to move when the fit is a harmonious and feels right. I would love to meet you and perhaps have a coffee to discuss a suitable place. Perhaps we could video call and meet when I take the trip down to look at properties?
