Hi there!
I’m Guy. I’m a 37yo marine research technician. I’ve been in Townsville for nearly 12 years and looking to downsize from my current share house situation.

About me:
I love nature and the outdoors and enjoy making time to explore the Townsville surrounds and camp with friends. With that I’m pretty green and am conscious of the environment in the way I live (recycling, not wasteful etc).
I’m an avid music listener and love discovering fun artists and styles. I occasionally DJ as a hobby and do so respectfully of my housemates and environment (no 2am blowout parties you need to worry about!). I also get my music fix by attending live and club music events and multiday festivals, my favourites being Woodford Folk Festival, Earth Frequency Festival and Mushroom Valley.
Other ways I like to spend my time are reading, board games, cooking in, eating out, gardening, indoor bouldering and settling in for a good movie, game or series.

My ideal house: I’m looking to downsize from my current share house, being a large queenslander of 4-5 people with a jungle garden and pool. Ideally I’m looking to live alone or with up to one (maybe two if it’s a good fit) other like-minded person/people. A bit of garden space to indulge my mild native plant habit is preferable too.
Despite my music interest I’m not after a raging party house, but friends/partners over, dinners, get-togethers and so on are great.
If living with others, I’m looking to share with someone chill and fun. Without sounding dry- cleanliness, communication, maturity, privacy, honesty and respect are important for me in a house/housemate.

My move date is flexible as long as I have time to move out, find someone to take my spot, change tenancy etc so the date is just a placeholder for now.
