Deborshi

Hey, how's it going? I'm Deborshi Chanda, and I'm relocating to Sydney to start a new job as a Research Assistant :)

I've been living in Perth since Feb 2024, and it's honestly been such a great chapter of my life. I love the calmness of the city, the beaches, and the amazing people I've met here, many of whom I now call close friends. Now I'm looking forward to a new adventure in Sydney and want to find a place where I can settle in comfortably and call home.

Over my time in Australia, I've lived in a mix of share arrangements: renting a room in a house with a live in landlord (and their absolutely adorable Cavoodle), as well as co renting a place with a housemate where we split the rent equally. Both experiences have helped me build a clean, reliable rental history that I'm keen to keep up in my next place :)

I'm an open minded person who appreciates different perspectives and adapts easily to new situations. I hold respect, empathy, and honesty in high regard. I love working out at the gym or going bouldering after a busy day, and I also enjoy catching up with friends over a couple of beers. At home, I like to keep things clean and tidy and generally keep to myself to get things done. I've got a spotless track record as a trustworthy and reliable tenant and hope to maintain that in my next place too :)

I'll most likely be getting a car once I'm in Sydney, so it would be great to have a place with parking and good proximity to a servo. Everything else is a bonus. I'd love flatmates who are friendly, upbeat, and open minded. I'm also totally open to pets, having lived with a lovely Cavoodle before 😆. I'm pretty easygoing, so I'm sure everything else will sort itself out :)
