I'm Sarah. I've lived lots of the East Coast, especially the Shoalhaven NSW and Gippsland VIC, but have live in QLD the last 9 years; the last 5 of those years on the Sunny Coast. My friends would describe me as easy-going, kind, and compassionate. In my free time, I like to spend my time outside, either alone or with others. On the weekends, I often spend with family, friends and my church community. I love the beach and I love adventure.
I'm a registered nurse, working three days a week in an integrative medical clinic. No nights or shift work for this healthy circadian rhythm loving human. I also run a photography business part time. Having a little spot to work regarding my photography and decent internet are necessary. During the week, I'm usually in bed by 8:30 and up by 5. On the weekends, honestly, it’s much the same. Maybe up a little later and to bed a little later. I’m a granny heart.
My career and volunteer work have me tapping into my social side a lot. I do recharge best by myself and I cherish home life being a sanctuary. I want my house to be a place where I can have people over, but not a place that's constantly full of people. I'm open to the idea of my roommates hosting small parties - just a heads up would be lovely. I'm down to get to know each other; I'm not saying we have to be best friends, but I would like to do things like occasionally watch TV together and host meals for friends. If you're not open to the idea of sharing a meal together every once in a while, we're probably not a good fit.
I like to keep common living spaces pretty clean. I appreciate the tidiness of common areas, do my dishes every day and put away my belongings when I get home from work. I'm open to the idea of a cleaning schedule to keep things organized.
My monthly budget is 800, and I'm looking to move in sometime during April. I'm hoping to find a place in or around Caloundra. I would like my own bedroom, and I'm open to living with 1-3 other people. Ideally, the house would have some outside space, or at least lots of natural light. Living in lower light places poorly impact my cognition and health. I can’t comprise my health like that. If the bedrooms are sized differently enough to justify different prices, I'm happy staying in the larger or smaller room.
Here are some quirks and relevant information: I'm sometimes overwhelmed by loud noises and can't do yelling. So, if you're someone that needs to have the volume on the TV up to the maximum, we might not be the best fit. With that said, I'm not going to get upset at you for making popcorn at night or watching your favorite TV show at a normal volume. I'm not a smoker and I don't want to live with smokers. Not much of a drinker either but will have a cheeky bevvy here and there. Always keen for a nice cup of tea.
