I'm here looking to find someone to share a lease with me, on a place that we find to suit both of our needs. I have all my own furniture, and 2 cats, so cannot easily move into an existing house set up, and since the cost of living has increased so much over the past couple of years, I cannot comfortably afford to live on my own.

I have lived in several different houseshares over the years and alone for a few years too. I have been sharing a house with a housemate for the past 12 months but our general standards of cleanliness are very different and the constantly dirty kitchen is doing my head in. His teenage son is also meant to be moving in at the end of the year, which makes me think it's time to look elsewhere.

I am friendly, easy-going and reliable. I enjoy company but also need downtime to recharge my social batteries. I'm clean and tidy and respectful of others. I enjoy board games, books and movies. I try to keep fit and all that jazz. I work full time Monday to Friday and spend my free time either chilling out at home or catching up with friends or family.

My 2 cats 🐈 are named Peanut and Hope. They are mostly indoor cats and I let them venture outside a bit when I'm at home. Peanut is very friendly and chill, and Hope is very shy until she gets to know you. I have had them for 10 years and they are good housemates :)

Ideally I would like to share with 1 other person, to have 2 bedrooms for myself, and separate bathrooms. I'm happy to pay the difference accordingly for the extra room.

I don't have any time limit for when I'd need to move, so I'm just putting feelers out at the moment to see if there is anyone looking for a similar arrangement.
