Hello 🙂

My name is Matt, I'm 36 and from Manchester UK. I’ve been living in Melbourne for just over a year now and I’m relocating with my company to their Perth office. I’ve lived in Perth before and I miss the sun and sand, hence the move ☀️😎. I'm an acoustic engineer who works 4/5 days in the office. I’ve been sponsored by my company and so going to be living Australia for the foreseeable.

Im a clean and tidy person with plenty of house share experience, having always lived in them at both home and abroad. I keep on top of cleaning and keeping the house how i'd expect to find it, especially as i love to cook! I work 8:30 - 5 Mon to Fri (generally, but some site evening work too), so midweek will be pretty chill for me, cooking, gym, gardening, listening to music and general hobbies and interests. Always game for a midweek drink or two also.

Come the weekend I'm a sociable person and i like to head out for gigs, nights out and drinks, meals etc.

I love to camp, hike, explore, music festivals and head to beach. I have a car which I use a lot to get away at the weekends and explore. Music is massive in my life and i love to go out to nights when the right person is in town.

I like sociable houses where people engage with one another and you know the person/people you are living with. I like to natter over a glass of vino from time to time or head out for a pint together when timings align 🙂 That said, I'm someone who respects other peoples space in a house, and I like my own too.
