Looking for move in date mid January !

Hello Townsville! I have just secured a job for the final year of my apprenticeship doing FIFO mine work (electrician) up in TSV that I need to relocate for - I start late January however would ideally like to move up a week or 2 before my start date.

Ideally id like to land a furnished room in the North Ward area - preference would be a clean, calm place with a homely feel.

My swing will be 2 on 1 off so I will be away more than I am home however when I first get there I may be based in TSV locally until the next project kicks off so may not be immediately in the fifo swing.

I would describe myself as more on the quiet side by nature (although happy to chat) friendly, supportive, respectful and tidy. I am also a non smoker and non drinker (although not necessarily abstinent from alcohol I never have “1 or 2” after work or go out on weekends for the fun of it.)

I’m fine with parking my car on street etc, however there is a high chance I will be bringing my motorcycle up there with me and I need it garaged. It’s a customised superbike so I am not comfortable leaving it parked outside or on the street. However there is a chance I’ll leave it here on the Sunshine Coast so I have a vehicle to get around on when coming back to visit friends (at this stage please assume it’s coming with me)

In my spare time I like to go to the gym, ride the bike and spend time with friends and just get out doing activities. I am just recently out of a long term relationship so am kind of rediscovering myself a little bit.

Prior to doing this apprenticeship I spent 12 years doing joinery and have worked on some significant projects so if you’re a home owner don’t be shy to ask me for help around the house I’m quite handy on the tools and genuinely like helping when I can.

Please note ; I am not sure if I will come up to inspect in person to prior to moving - just depends how difficult it is by advertising here from the Sunshine Coast. I am happy to chat on phone / FaceTime / verify on social media etc if I cannot get up there before moving date.
