Hi, I’m John Omer.
I’ve been living in Melbourne for almost two years, working in different fields such as cleaning and construction. I’m currently focused on improving my English and looking for a positive home environment where I can feel comfortable, meet new people, and practice my language skills.

I’ve previously lived in Oak Park and then Glenroy, and I’m currently living in Brunswick. In the past, I didn’t really have the right environment to improve my English or expand my social circle. That’s why I’m now looking for a better, calmer and more supportive living space that will be good for me.

I’m looking for a clean, tidy, peaceful and friendly household, with respectful and easy-going housemates. Feeling comfortable and living with people who value cleanliness and mutual respect is important to me.

I’m very organised and clean—I always keep my room and the shared areas tidy. I don’t like leaving dirty dishes or clutter around; I prefer a fresh, clean and good-smelling home.

I enjoy living in a calm environment. Occasional visitors are totally fine, but a constant flow of people isn’t really my style. I don’t smoke inside, and I stay completely away from drugs. I rarely drink alcohol, only in social situations.

I love cooking—especially Turkish food—and I enjoy spending time in the kitchen. I’m a friendly, energetic and sociable person who loves to laugh and have good conversations. Photography is one of my passions; I do it at a semi-professional level, and I always enjoy improving myself.

If we get along well, I’d be happy to build a good friendship with my housemates too.
