Hello, my name’s Phoebe. I’m a quiet, clean and tidy person (though my room can get a bit messy). I can get a bit tired of the world sometimes, and so for me, home is a quiet place where I rest and retreat from the world. I am friendly enough and will say hello but I’m otherwise not interested in being social at home, sharing meals or activities together. I’m seeking a place where there is no expectation/obligation to do that. I want us all to feel free to approach each other for help with things around the house and to negotiate/discuss any issues etc. I’m sincere, matter of fact, plain talking, considerate and thoughtful. I’m fairly private/introverted in nature. I care a lot more than I appear to. My interests include reading, writing, animals and nature, personal development, listening to music and health. I work part time and have various other commitments throughout the week. I can always pay rent and bills on time. I have my own bed so need an unfurnished or partly unfurnished room -- could make use of a desk, wardrobe etc. I also have a bicycle that I need to store securely undercover. I eat a lot of meat, I cook outside mostly and need access to a power outlet for that. I dislike cooking smells and I greatly appreciate when my housemates ventilate the kitchen during and after cooking. If you have any questions, please do ask.
Hi I’m Alycia, I’m looking for a nice granny flat to live in with bills and internet included. I don’t want flat mates as I like my privacy so a private granny flat would be perfect that’s in good condition. I work a lot so I’m not home a often, I’m very clean and respectful and like to keep to myself...but I’m friendly too! I have 2 female desexed kitties, so a garden space is important because they like to relax in the backyard during the day.
I dont have a particular suburb in mind so open to moving pretty much anywhere, if it's the right fit for me. Full-time student and artist. Work part time in the city. Use all my free time to do assignments or paint. Easy going but anal about cleaning, so anyone who lives with me will only have to clean up after themselves. I'm easy going, witty, don't mind abit of banter etc. I consider myself to be on the quiet side in regards to being around groups of people, I rarely go out or drink etc. I am an extremely passionate person with strong views and opinions. I enjoy adult discussions where people may have varied ideas and opinions and can agree to disagree, while still being able to actually listen to the other persons point of view, without it becoming a heated argument. I have some furniture so need a place that can accommodate this or atleast store it. Do not have a bed however. I would like to live somewhere that has a garden,so I can maintain a connection to nature as well as have a space to paint. Looking forward to meeting my prospective new housemates😊😊😊
Hi, I'm Lisa and I'm 21 years old. I've just completed my bachelor's degree in Business majoring in International Hospitality Management and Human Resource Management at Victoria University. I work casually at a hotel in the CBD, mainly working 'graveyard' shifts. I plan on pursuing a career in the hotel industry, one day hoping to be within management. I'm originally from the country and grew up on a farm. I've lived in Melbourne for the past three years, first in Footscray and currently in Coburg. I'm an animal lover, I love to cook, read, explore my surroundings, and catch up with friends. I'm a quiet homebody, who is shy at first but once you get to know me, I'm a real chatterbox. I'm not really a club person, I much prefer bars, or even just catching up with friends in general. I have recently taken up going to the gym with some friends as well. I'm straight and a non-smoker. I don't really care what your preferences are in these areas, although I would prefer to live with someone who did not smoke indoors. I have a car in Melbourne so will be looking for a house with a parking spot. I also hope to find somewhere close to public transport, within 30 minutes to an hour distance of the CBD. I'd love to team up with someone ideally, rather than move into an existing lease. However, I'm open to options at this point. My ideal housemate(s): · Looking to rent for at least a year and go on the lease. · Willing to contribute towards furniture. · Clean in our shared spaces. · Working/able to keep up to date with bills. · Happy to have a puppy dog around. · Isn't going to be throwing house party’s all the time. · Someone who is looking to make a new friend 🙂. Food/meals - I mainly organise myself in terms of meals and food. I am however not opposed to shared meals/outings if you like. I eat meat and have no other dietary requirements. Whilst I respect all eating preferences, I would like to live in a household where we can accept one another. Eg. You don't mind that I eat meat and I don't care what you consume (so long as it isn't my food aha). I don't really have any furniture in Melbourne with me, all the places I've lived in so far have come furnished when I moved in. I will be bringing along my own bed/mattress, desk, bookshelves, dresser and tv, but that's about it. I could also potentially buy some furniture off my current flatmates as well if needed. In saying that, I am of course more than willing to contribute to the purchase of furniture. I'm not fussy and am happy with second hand, but well-maintained items. If you have any communal furniture to bring along with you, that would be great! Ollie is my 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier x Fox Terrier puppy. He is house and crate trained, fully vaccinated, and desexed. He can shed a little bit, but that is easily kept on top of with regular grooming and vacuuming of the house. However if you have an allergy to dogs, probably not the best match. He is a playful and sometimes mischievous puppy, but he also loves to curl up on the couch next to you and sleep all day. Ollie has a 'dicky' leg, which means he limps and can't fully extend one of them. This doesn't affect him in any way and he will often get the 'zoomies' to prove it. He has a great temperament with other dogs as well as cats, along with most people in general. He has been around many animals on my parent's farm, as well as socialising at the dog park and dog beach.
I’m a very quiet person, I keep to myself. I have an elderly jack Russell cross called Lucy who has been with me for 12 years now. She’s a good little dog, mostly sleeps her days away now. I’m very neat and tidy. I work in administration. I also have a horse who I keep out on a farm.
Im a chilled out 35 year old female looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxed place to rent. I work in the fitness industry, love walks on the beach, animals of all sorts and learning new things. Originally from the UK but now an Australian Citizen. Looking for a room with like-minded people who like their home to be a haven. Anything else just ask me :)
Hi all I'm will and I'm 24 years old. Currently working full time for the government. I work shift work so I'm not after a party house, people that are in similar situations ot in the quieter side of life, but i still do enjoy a drink after finishing work and having a chat. Extremely clean, not ocd but i do like to have things in order. Love video games and being active. If you think I'll fit in drop me a line
